Had my daughter's 4th birthday there yesterday and it was 2 hours well spent! We all had an amazing time. Perfect size location for a private event. Not too big or too small. Parents are able to see what their kids are up to and the kids are having a good time. They have a play area, some arcade games, activities in sectored off rooms at different times of the party. Although the time is running the staff is easy going and doesn't make you feel like anything is rushed. Only 3 staff members handling about 30 Kids and 30 Adults and it just flowed. I got so many compliments from friends about how enjoyable and easy the party was because with 30 young kids things can get crazy. Would definitely recommend and do another event here. They also handle decor, food, and clean up. Any additional things you want to bring is up to you but definitely make it easy to just be present as a parents of the birthday girl. read more

Celebrated my son's 2nd birthday here today. I loved the service so much, they were accommodating and really did everything for me which made it less stressful. Decor was 10/10 for the private room. Service from my private host, Luca, was really the best! There was a parking lot as well. Party was booked for 2 hours for 15 kids, and so much was done during that time. Game cards included for kids, character came to visit, kids played around, pizza and beverage for all guest, cotton candy, they got the cake for me, and really good service from staff. Sidebar, everyone loved the pizza. At the end, they cleaned and packed up the gifts for me. Did I mention the good service? lol Definitely made the right choice coming here. That day and the day before it had snowed but they did a marvellous job cleaning the outside are for guest! Went to my cuzs son birthday party at kids fun house in Ridgewood and I actually had fun especially with plenty of space to sit and nap while the little ones roam around playing arcade games , going down the slides and running around in a clean , safe , fun , place . The staff are amazing how they set up the birthday room area with the superhero theme and honestly the pizza and cookies were delicious as I had more then enough and now it's nap time after a few games of arcade fun with the birthday boy . Wish I had a place like this when I was a kid and these little kiddos are lucky to have a place like kids fun house around . The place is clean, the staff is friendly, and they're very flexible about the cost of many items when you try to redeem your tickets. And kids love to play the different games to collect tickets. My party has different age groups and they all had a good time. I picked the private premium party which is a 2 hr private facility party and I should've booked a VIP instead which is a 3 hr. Me as a Mom/adult enjoyed it myself, how much more the kids. I just hoped we have more time. Our hosts: Jonathan and Samantha did a great job handling our party. They are so organized with the activities/schedule and made sure everything is taken care of. I was trying to book a party for my sons birthday. I called Kids Fun House to inquire about a private party they advertise for $775 (3 hours). The girl that answered the phone told me that that is not what private parties start at and that statement is just stating that parties start at $775 for 2 hours and they only include a private room. I asked why was that advertised as such and how that is false advertisement and she hung up the phone on me. Very unprofessional. If these prices are not what they actually are, they should not be advertised as such. read more

He played from the time he arrived until it was time to leave. We picked the private party package where we rent the whole space to ourselves best option ever. Everything was so well organized and the best part was everything was done for us all we had to do was show up and have a good time and that's exactly what we did. I hosted my son's 2nd birthday party on Sunday. I booked them 4 days before the party and I wasn't sure what to expect. I walked in and was blown away! There are three areas - a toddler area, older kid area, and the arcade area. Everything was clean, the party area was beautifully decorated in the theme I asked them to do (Sesame Street) 4 days before the party, great food, and the best customer service. It's alright. The pictures make it look better than what it really is. The place is dingy and old looking and is dirty. The carpets look like they're rarely cleaned and I saw garbage and hair hidden in crevices of the younger toddler play area. We came for a party and the staff were friendly and my friend had the whole venue to herself so that probably made the experience a little better. If your child is young (1-2), then there really is only that one baby corner. The jungle gym is not one of those built for younger ones to slowly climb. It's those take require huge steps so that was a fail for our baby to try to get up (and she's been to many many play places before which had huge jungle gyms that she was able to maneuver up). A few arcade games and a lot are broken but I guess fun for the adults. read more

Drove 35 minutes here from LI with my 3 and 7 yo and didn't know what to expect except that it's called "Kid's Fun House". They do not have a parking lot and the only option is street parking. The admission was $10 per kid and comes with 5 tokens for the arcade. This fun house is much smaller than all the other indoor fun places I've been to with my kids but you get what you pay for. There's a three story maze tunnel with slides, a toddler area and an arcade with about 10 games. This place is good for kids under 5 but not older bc my 7 yo got bored after 20 minutes and was nagging to play at the arcade; even my 3 yo lost interest shortly after. Each arcade game is 2-4 tokens. With 10 tokens, we won about 50 tickets; got a bracelet for my daughter and paid a $4 difference for an emoji drawstring backpack for my son. Their prizes are definitely a rip off; for example, the Shopkins blind packs are sold for $2.99 at Five Below, Walmart, etc. but you need 3000 tickets or $10 to get it. Overall, it was an ok place in Queens to waste an hour at with the kids, just wish it was bigger. The staffs were all very friendly and the place was fairly clean. They also sell pizza, fries, soft pretzels, smoothies and more just in case the parents or kids get hungry. I wouldn't come back here again but I do recommend this place if you have small children under 5 and if you're around the area, it's worth giving a try. read more

I recently celebrated my twin girls birthday party here. First, I want to start by saying how good it felt to not have to worry about anything! As a busy working mom of twins, I didn't have to worry about picking up decorations, balloons, or food. All of this is covered in the package. The only thing I got on my own were the cakes ( by choice) the girls outfits, party favors and a few snacks (for those who don't eat pizza). The place is very clean. We were searching for a place for our daughter's 4th Birthday and came across Kids Fun House. The storefront is unassuming, but when you walk inside it is bigger than you would think. We went inside and were met by Nita. She explained every single detail and patiently answered every question. We were very satisfied with the services they were offering and decided to book. Up until the event date (November 18, 2017), Nita followed up with us and made sure to accommodate our requests. We are reasonable and our requests and (million) questions were always answered. The day before the event we stopped by and they explained what they were going to do. We met Ashley and our second host Shay. They were very professional and patient. They explained further details of what to expect On event day Nita and Shay were our hosts. They were phenomenal. Truly dedicated, professional, patient and hard-working. They truly made us realize what a great choice of venue this was. We did not have to worry about anything. They handled everything and went above and beyond to make our princess' birthday and amazing one. All our guests were extremely happy and complimentary of everything. Thank you for a great time! CON: Not enough set up time. We opted for the VIP shutdown and the previous party was lingering. Nita and Shay handled it though. Great job! CON: Favor bag that comes with the VIP package is not that nice. Has mindless toys (some didn't work). We are not snobby or jerks but would of liked to have given something decent to our guests (i.e.: functional toys). I love Kid's Fun House, and my family comes here all of the time with my now 2 and a half year old daughter. The bathrooms are clean, the food is yummy, and the play areas are great. We also went for their Christmas party, which was a blast (characters, dancing Santa, food, presents, cupcake decorating, etc.)! I'm thinking of having my daughter's 3rd birthday party here come Springtime. It's awesome that Ridgewood has a place like this. I wish they had some early morning weekend mommy and me classes! My only issue, which has been ongoing since my daughter turned 1 and we started coming here, is that the toddler area has no gate. The little ones are often trying to dash or crawl out. I wish that they'd put up a gate that closes, and only allow the toddlers and babies in there with their parents - no bigger kids. Bigger kids shouldn't be allowed in that section - they trample and shove the babies. Not only is that unsafe and exhausting, it's annoying to have to monitor other people's kids. Attentive, patient, fun and always ready to make it happen for me if needed. I didn't have to worry about a thing. Everything was covered from start to finish. My husband and I threw our daughter's first birthday party at Kids Fun House. We both have large families so we rented the entire facility for a private party. Our package included decorations, food for adults and kids, beverages, cotton candy, face painting, a piñata, etc. We wanted the best of the best to commemorate our daughter's first birthday. The staff decorated the facility beautifully and they were very accommodating to what we wanted. I chose to bring some of my own decorations and treats, which they helped me set up. They were clearly very experienced and professional. David and Melissa were amazing! They gave us short briefings throughout the day and reminded us of each upcoming event. We had 60-70 guests to mingle with so it was very helpful for them to give us constant updates. Being that my husband and I have large families, we have been to many play places for the birthdays of our nieces and nephews. The staff at this facility truly enjoys working with children (which unfortunately cannot be said about many other facilities). David and Melissa were very friendly to our daughter and to every single person from our massive amount of guests. There was a large age gap of children; 1 years old to 15 years old and ALL of the children had a lot of fun at the facility. The arcades were perfect in keeping the older kids entertained. I loved that there was a play apparatus suited for toddlers and another one suited for kids. Kids Fun House is truly the perfect place to host a kids party for all ages. From the onset of my parry planning, the staff worked so closely with me to ensure that my party was perfect, from the decorations to the food and everything else. They gave us detailed information about the prices and were flexible working with us that met our needs. Even the day before the party, we informed them of a number of cancellations from the kids and they adjusted the pizzas that we needed, etc. I saw the staff sanitize the common areas and in particular, the apparatuses.
