For years, my wife and I would pass this resturant and always comment that it looks nice and we should drive to Chatsworth one day to eat here. An impromptu Hwy 52 drive after Christmas gave me, along with the rest of my family the opportunity to finally eat here. EPIC DISAPPOINTMENT! Wait staff was nice, you take your own seat. Salad bar is way overpriced for what you get. $8.99 for unlimited visits to bar with basic offerings. I'm 36 and this is probably the absolute worst resturant food I've ever eaten. We had about an hour car ride home and the topic of discussion was if anyone could think of a worse meal...no one could. Horrible pizza, no sauce or flavor. Pretty much cheese bread. Tried the other offerings all of which were bland. My daughters spaghetti noodles were hard and tasted bad. Seriously, Chef Boyardee is better, and for the price you could get 20 4-packs at $3.80 each at Walmart. I hate to flame this place as I had high hopes. The resturant was packed, and I don't understand why. Go to Sonic just down the road, you'll be thankful you did. read more

We got pizza to go. Both pizzas tasted like they were frozen. The bill was $40 and they were only 12 inch pizzas. Very disappointed.

Pretty good food! They just started carrying calzones recently and they aren't bad at all. I've went and picked them up to go 2 different times. Could use some more taste and they LOAD you up with food but they could use a few upgrades but overall pretty nice restaurant, don't let the reviews scare you away! I will warn you that this place is pricey though which is weird for Chatsworth. read more

I was in the area for a business trip, and we visited Little Rome as one of our lunches. I was strongly advised to order a child's size, and sure glad I did. I wouldn't have been able to finish the regular portion. My stuffed shells with meat sauce came to the table steaming hot! Cleaned it all of the plate, though. Don't have the chicken parmigiana. It's not fresh and taken out of the freezer. The waitress will tell you this, but I didn't expect it to be soggy with a slight freezer burned flavor. There was nothing special about the tomato sauce either. It tasted like it came from a can. The staff is friendly and the locals seem to like it. The wait was very long and when we got the food it was definitely not worth the wait. When we spoke to the waitress to tell her about the food she argued with us saying that no one ever complains about their food. About the food. I had the Chicken Parm. The sauce was good but the chicken sat under the sauce so long that it was gummy. The noodles were not properly drained so the dish was full of water. I will say their cheese is awesome. The Lasagna was covered under very greasy sauce and the waitress said that's what you get with homemade sauce...Not mine! All and all I would suggest staying away from this place. It's been around since 1979 and all I can say is all things should come to an end! Just because you have managed to stay open does not make you great. You need to hire new staff and let some of these bitter old staff members go. We heard them constantly complaining about the younger girls. You need to overhaul these dishes...don't drown your dishes in sauce and grease. The pizzas look good but you have a long way to go to get my 5 stars! read more

I love Little Rome. These imbeciles who write bad reviews are obviously lacking in objective quality. This restaurant is wonderful. I have many positive memories from eating at this family owned establishment. While the food is not five star italian, the food is high quality and very tasty. The atmosphere is family oriented and everyone is very friendly and inviting. The wait staff is attentive, the salad bar is fresh, and the decor is a mix of both southern and italian culture. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. read more

A review of Little Rome Chatsworth Georgia USA My husband and I went too Little Rome in Chatsworth for my birthday. We had herd so much about how good this place was. Having lived in Chatsworth for 6 years now, we thought we would try it. First impression; Not bad. Outside-clean. Not much car parking. Found a space on gravel near another building. We went in, there was a lady working the cash register. There was a sign that said "please wait to be sited". We waited and waited, two waiters (one girl, one boy) passed us, not asking if we needed to be sited, by then 5 minutes had passed. The only person to acknowledge us was the cook. After 5 minutes my husband asked for a table and was told to sit any, we were not shown were to sit, as you would expect in a restaurant. The place had been open for about 0ne and half hours. There was food stamped in to the carpet by the salad bar. The tables had not been cleared. We took a booth which the plates were still on the table, (as there was only two of us we did not feel it was right to take a table that was set for five to six people). The young boy cleared our table, forgot to wipe it then came back with a very wet cloth, wiped the table and said he would be back to dry it, which he did not show up I used my napkin to wipe it dry. We waited about 10 minutes before a waitress came to see if we needed a drink, the ice tea was weak and tasted horrible. We order, I had the veal with paste and spaghetti. The veal was in bread crumbs the paste had been microwaved. And the dish itself was bland no taste at all. It was a horrible meal in all. My husband had the empire pizza which looked okay but I tried it and that to, was bland there was no cheese on it. Total cast of this experiences cost use $40.00 + tip. This was a costly amount for bad service and bad food. So to the people of Chatsworth I don't know what you have been use to eating before going there, but my advice is not to go again. read more

First, I am laughing that another reviewer listed this place as having "the best salad bar in Georgia." He must not get out much is all I can think. The salad bar here is on par with a Shoney's but with fewer items. The salad dressings are all "full fat" with the healthiest one being the French and the top 2 inches in the bowl looked like straight oil. The items are fresh, but nothing to write home about. The service here was attentive but the reason I will not be back is the price. We asked about the child's portion of spaghetti and was told that it was large. Our child didn't want any sauce on her meal so we were offered mozzarella cheese which I thought was very nice. The cheese garlic bread was good but it is just texas toast with melted mozzarella cheese on it. Average but good. My mother ordered a $9 Greek Salad which was quite small for the price. Our other child ordered the mozzarella cheese sticks which were $4.50 for only 4 of them. Finally the plate of spaghetti arrived and it was TINY. I am not one for huge portions, but when you charge $6 for 1 cup of spaghetti (seriously, the amount was the equivalent to 1 cup portion) and then add an additional $1.35 for the mozzarella cheese which was offered when we ordered but was never mentioned would be an extra charge, well, I was amazed and disappointed. Our bill for 2 adults and 2 kids was $42 plus tip. I could have gone to a more upscale restaurant (Maggiano's) and paid the same amount of money AND come home with enough food for another meal. I can't believe with these prices that this restaurant continues to survive in such a small town. Also, we were there for lunch and there were NO lunch specials. Again, the food quality was good but the value is horribly off. Disappointing and sorry, we won't be back. read more

I hate to give this place two stars, but I have had way better. We dined here about four months ago upon the recommendation of a friend. They get two stars, because the server was great. She was a older woman who had been working there for about thirteen years. She was spot on with her kindness, and good service. The outside of the building is also cute which draws you inside. That is about the only positives I can think of. The food was not very good. We ordered the cheese bread for an appetizer which consisted of white bread with American cheese placed on top and browned. My family ordered a pizza, lasagna, and ravioli. The pizza was burnt underneath much of the crust. Our order of cheese bread took a while to come out, because according to our server the first order was burned. The lasagna was lasagna noodles layered with cheese and meat sauce poured on top. It tasted like it had been microwaved not my idea of lasagna. My husband said his ravioli tasted bad, and he had the same meat sauce poured over his ravioli. This place has been around a long time, and I guess many folks enjoy their food. Not sure if we will retry considering not one of our meals was decent. Kudos for the great service though! read more
