My husband and I stopped here for lunch last week. Service was great and the food tasted good, but we both became ill soon after. At first, I thought it was just me getting the flu, started in with nausea and stomach cramps, but then 30 minutes later my husband was also sick. The only thing we ate that was the same was an appetizer of bruschetta. I called the restaurant and explained my issue, I didn't want anyone else getting sick, but the person I spoke with became defensive and said it was not their food that caused the problem. My husband and I wandered here for a late lunch last Friday. This is a historic building with lots of character. I ordered the chicken sandwich which is served with a pickle and chips. The place itself was pretty historic. Original wood floors and rolling ladders on the walls from what was probably a dry goods store back in the day. Nice downtown area in a small town. What was good to see was virtually every storefront had a business in it. The pizza was very good. Good crust and sauce. A little light on the toppings for me. Also had the garlic Parmesan wings, which although small were very tasty and saucy. Wife had a small pasta bowl and they loaded it with most sauce I've ever seen in a restaurant. This pizza place is amazing. Service is always great. Put it on your must eat lists now. They have baked spaghetti that's incredible, and the pizzas are just.... Delicious. We order many items from the menu and literally have never gotten a bad dish or pie. The desserts.... Homemade cheesecakes are simply decadence on a plate. We came here for lunch on the way to Cloudland Canyon State Park. It is located in a quaint downtown in a historic building. We parked right our front and were seated immediately. They were taking safety precautions and there was only one other party in the restaurant. The menu had mainly pizzas and pastas. We got a pizza and couple of kids pastas. Everything was reasonably priced and the pastas even came with garlic bread. The pizza was amazing! So good and loaded with the toppings we ordered. The two times we have eaten there I said I would not be coming back. I didn't know Italian could be messed up so so bad. Had a calzone the first time and spaghetti with meat sauce. Went here with my family, and have to say, it's one of the best restaurants in the area. We've been back several times and the food and service are always very good. The pizzas are cooked in a wood stove, which of course makes them taste awesome. My parents said they use too much cheese, but to me that's crazy talk. You can't put too much cheese on a pizza. read more

I was in town working and ended up working late. I rushed over here as soon as I could because I had heard it was great. I walked in 20 minutes before closing and saw the young ladies sweeping. Disappointed I asked if I was too late. To my surprise a cheerful employee (Brylee) said no not at all please have a seat. I ordered cheese bread and a calzone. This location is new to this area. My first visit to the crushed tomatoe. The atmosphere was great, the location is awesome, and most of all the building is full of rich history. I ordered a Pepperoni Calzone, it was truly amazing. The bread was fresh baked, the marinara sauce was spot on. I would say this was the best Calzone I have had in a long while. Very good pizza and fettuccine Alfredo. Great atmosphere and the price is very reasonable compared to other local pizza restaurants. We go often and it's the best pizza in this area. I'm very picky about pizza and the only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because its not the best pizza I've had but it's very good! The restaurant was super clean with a lot of friendly staff. They had a nice selection of appetizers, pastas, and pizza's. We got the 18" deluxe pizza and were very satisfied with it. It has super light and thin crust with a good chew. Lots of cheese with a proper amount of toppings. The pizza is better than most I've had in the area. I would highly recommend this place if you like real homemade pizza. They have ice cream as well, will have to try that next time. I would be glad to make this my primary pizza joint. read more
