This place had really fallen off for a while. However with the new owners and new management it seems to be on the rise again. Good cold beer the pizza is not greasy and has a great flavor. Pie Slingers is our favorite pizza in the Rock Springs area. The wait staff and people at the counter are really nice. While locals rave about the Philly Cheesesteak pizza, my husband and I love their large classic crust with crumbled bacon and pepperoni. We have also gotten the same pizza as a take-home and cook-it-yourself. Both are fantastic! And we are a pizza every Saturday night family. While we mostly make our own thin crust pepperoni and bacon, we think we are pizza experts Their Greek salad is good too and big enough to split. Pie Slinger's is a community favorite and is often packed on Fridays and Saturdays at 6 to 7 p.m., so plan accordingly. Children and teens enjoy the video and arcade games. Located just off 27, you turn into Fieldstone Parkway, then turn right into the parking lot behind the buildings. They take up the corner building and have plenty of parking, including handicapped parking adjacent to the building. Walking in you will see a large bar for ordering, or you can seat yourself. There is a large seating area inside as well as a wall of video games. The menu is not overtly large but offers several speciality selections as well as the ability to select your own toppings. We decided on a half Kitchen Sink and half Godfather. Once we ordered at the bar we decided to sit on the patio. It's located along the side of the building and includes several umbrella tables. Even though it's near the highway the sound is not excessive at all. Our pizza arrived in about 10 minutes. The toppings are piled high and to the edge. Everything was hot Ann's treated fresh. The crust was crispy but not crunchy. It was between a thin and thick crust and held up well to the toppings. Overall this was a great pizza and certainly a good dining experience. The owners just don't seem to pay enough to hire and keep servers and cashiers, instead running the ones they have absolutely ragged. I'll start with the food is super yummy here, but the new format is not really working well. It was much easier and FASTER when you ordered at the door and they brought it to you. We waited an hour for pizza, then salads came after the pizzas and our drinks were never refilled. Staff was run ragged, I felt bad for the waitress, the place was full and she seemed to be waiting all the tables herself. Way too expensive for us to have to wait that long on pizza. First, it should be known I walked into Pie Slingers more to try their microbrews (Phantom Horse), so the small town Chuckie Cheese type of vibe was a bit different than what I expected. For the location, there is not much around, so this is likely a great place to bring the family. Talking to some employees, the owner would like to move the microbrewery somewhere else, so I will be looking for Phantom Horse in the future. For food, I tried the philly steak sandwich with some homemade chips. The sandwich was very rich and tasty. As it was so rich, I am not sure I could repeat visits too close to each other, but nice sandwich. A bit different than a Philly in Philly, as the sandwich used thicker sandwich bread. The homemade chips were very nice. Thin and crispy and hot out of the fryer. I would definitely recommend. Not sure I feel the same about the beer cheese side for dipping, as I have had much better beer cheese. I would personally recommend rethinking the recipe, as it tastes very commercial, like it is out of a can. The craft beer is decent. I won't say it tops my list of faves in the country, but definitely tasty. The winner, for me, was the gose (Gose Down Easy) as the hibiscus adds a nice characteristic to this summer beer. the 1891 was also very nice and light enough to be a good summer stout (new trend?). The Ole Green Eyes IPA is a hop forward, but fades down nicely, and also has a nice nose. The Double Barrel Cocked Ale tastes almost like a barrel aged, as it has a bit of that woody kind of sour (definitely at the end) and a spiced middle (spiced, not spicy, so not hot). Recommendation: I would see Pie Slingers as a beer and pizza joint for adults with kids. You can get a decent craft beer, or two, while the kids run and play games. read more

When I got home from a take out order. 7 wings weighing less than a pound. Feel cheated and ripped off. I don't recommend for the price you get what you pay for! I actually have a restaurant scale so curious I weighed barely 13 oz. last time I check 16 oz was the norm. Owner should be ashamed to cheat people out of hard earned money and not provide product charged at a pound. The manager at the front when I called back ask me what to do about it. How about better customer service! I was told I could order more wings. Lol at what freaking price and what weight...I'm wondering if they had their thump on scale when they weighed it!! My wife and I came here for dinner. Since it was our first time, we asked one of the servers where we should sit and they said to sit wherever. We sat down, and after half an hour, no one had come over to our table, even though staff were having regular conversations with other patrons they obviously knew and making direct eye contact without checking on us.
