I have been a long time customer of this restaurant and since the change in owners, the business and food quality has gone down. After, visiting for lunch I've decided that I will not return. I spent 30 minutes (my entire lunch break) sitting waiting on my lunch with just one other guest in the building. My order was simple and would usually only take 5-7 minutes to prepare. Eaten here numerous times and love it. I realize I differ from others on who's best as there are several awesome Vietnamese restaurants in tow n but I pick Saigon Noodle number 1. Viet Garden is good down the street but have some work to do to rival here. The phos here are the bomb! Ours is the spicy beef noodle. It's killer. My only suggestion is to learn how to make a good Vietnamese coffee. You will not go wrong here if you love authentic Vietnamese cuisine. read more

My husband and I happened upon this little spot. I hadn't had Pho Ga in years so it touched my belly strings. The ambiance is nice and relaxing. We were in town from Houston and decided to try out this lil place before heading back home. We ordered grilled beef spring rolls, egg rolls and Pho. The Pho was decent, lot of meat compare to places in Houston which we were surprised ( thumps up). The rolls were delicious. Little Saigon is just like the other Vietnamese restaurants around Sherwood Forest and Florida Boulevard, except that they seem to give you a lot of meat. I'm giving them five stars because of this. I do very much love vermicelli noodles with eggrolls and either beef or pork, and theirs is most definitely the best in Baton Rouge. The meat is flavored very well, and the eggroll is delicious. Their fish sauce is mixed well and does not taste watered down, has a sweet and tangy flavor for the noodles. read more

This is my favorite place to eat pho in Baton Rouge. Family operated and they are super friendly. The service is better that the other 5 pho restaurants I've been to, and that's a lot. They just opened up a location on chimes street next to LSU, so if you eat pho at drunken fish, re-evaluat yourself and upgrade your life. Little Saigon is the best. read more

Best Vietnamese place to go. I've been going to Little Saigon since they've opened at the other location, and now this location. Me and my older siblings are in the military, so when we go home my whole family comes here to eat. We ordered 5 bowls of Mí Thap Cam which is rice egg noodle soup, 2 Com Tam Thit Nuong which is a grilled pork chop and rice dish, and a plate of fried rice. Everything came out within 10 minutes and food was delicious. Ate All of it. The staff was friendly and family run. No one can beat the staff, food, and service. read more

I ordered the number 13 to pick up. Took 10 minutes. Vermicelli with pork skewers and egg rolls. The egg rolls were so delicious that I ate them before I even got home. The pork was delicious as always- seasoned with a little spice and perfectly chargrilled. The fresh veggies on the side were a great combination to the dish. Unfortunately, Little Saigon seems to have gotten a lot worse since they moved and reopened. They used to be the best vietnamese restaurant in town, and I had been meaning to stop in and try them since they reopened. Yesterday offered me that chance, so I took it. I was in a bit of a hurry so I just ordered two banh mi to go. The total was $7, which is the higher end of what you expect to pay for 2 banh mi, though not entirely unreasonable. That is, it wouldn't be entirely unreasonable if they were a bit bigger. After about a 10 minute wait they brought out probably the 2 smallest banh mi I have ever seen. Not only were they small, but they were entirely lacking in fillings. The roast pork one hardly had any pork in it at all; it was mostly bread. One limp bit of cilantro wound its way through the mostly deserted roll. The combination one was better in terms of fillings, but still far from ideal. The worst crime though, is that the rolls were not the crusty, flaky texture that you expect in a good banh mi. No, these rolls were more along the lines of the "stale as fuck" texture. I'm fairly certain they sat out uncovered for a day or two, because I could barely bite into them. Perhaps I'm slightly biased now after my recent visit to Tan Dinh on the westbank, but I see no reason why the banh mi there are cheaper, twice the size, and loaded with fillings, while little saigon offers these sandwiches so pitiful it is insulting. Unfortunately, it seems the best banh mi in town are the pre-packed ones you can pick up from the counter at saigon hong kong market if you get there before they sell out. I used to like the noodle bowls at little saigon, but I won't be coming back to try them out. I feel totally ripped off, and Saigon Noodle across the street has really good ones, so that is where I will be going from now on. read more

They didn't have veggie pho on the menu, but they were able to substitute broccoli and carrots for the beef... the broth was still beef but that was okay with me as I am not a devout vegetarian... with that being said the food was very good and I was pleased to see that they are still serving limes despite the shortage... lemons in my pho is just unnatural :P read more

I come here every Saturday and have never been disappointed! The servers here are absolutely awesome and entertaining as well; one in particular always tries to teach me Vietnamese. The food never takes long to come out and is spot on each time! I have tried almost all of the pho but my favorite is the Pho Thai Nam and Spring Rolls.
