They not only fed one of our sons (who has many anaphylactic allergies ), one of his main listed anaphylactic allergens which resulted in us having to medicate him for an anaphylactic reaction, they also kept one of his home-packed lunches over a weekend and then FED him the OLD leftover moldy lunch on the following Monday instead of the new lunch we sent in, despite him complaining to one of the staff in the cafeteria that it didn't taste right, and with our other twin? One of the teenage camp counselors was tired of him taking so long to catch up with the rest of the group (he was lagging behind due to chronic congenital knee problems- he's had seven total knee surgeries as of now at age 14, then was 7 and had already had two knee surgeries), so the camp staff pushed him down a wet slope to hurry him along, causing him to fall on his arm, which caused a buckle fracture= BREAKING HIS ARM. Our son told us a few years later that the counselor kid was frustrated with him and pushed him down the slope and that was why he fell (the camp told us he was "running, racing with the camp staff" ). If we had known at the time, we would've sued (and we've never sued anyone). DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE!!! I will never, ever recommend this camp to anyone. I normally do not post poor reviews, however this camp scarred us. We've never sent our kids to any other camps after our experience here due to the threats they posed to our kids' safety and health. Our kids have pled with us over the years to go to camps and the same old phrase pops up: "No guys, remember Gate Hill?" Followed by: "Oh Yeah." They ruined summer camps for us as a family. Please look elsewhere. No matter how fun or friendly a place is, it's not worth jeopardizing your children's well being, safety or lives. Pictures included to legitimize review. He has been enjoying summers at Gate Hill day camp for three years in a row. Where do I start? The facilities are neat and modern. The staff is very personable, enthusiastic and cheerful and overall the Camp is run very smoothly and professionally. On a day to day basis the Camp runs like a well oiled machine providing the children with a wide variety of activities and different themes for each day. They add some nice personal touches by providing daily summaries of what the kids did each day and text message updates to let you know if the buses are running behind due to traffic. As parents, we couldn't be happier that our son is growing as a person, learning different sports and games and making great friends in a safe and beautiful environment .

The directors are always developing new programs and bringing in the latest activities for campers of all ages. One of the newest additions to the camp is the climbing wall and zip line. My kids could not get enough of them. My kids are also huge fans of animals and the fact that Deerkill has a pony, and a couple of friendly alpacas is a great plus. Overall, I would recommend Deerkill to anyone that would like to provide their kids with the opportunity to have summers they will never forget making life long friends along the way. He fully enjoys her classes and always is impressed at how yummy the recipes are. He space is always so clean and she is very cautious and makes sure to social distance the kids where possible. She has hosted both an adult and kid party for us. We have zero complaints. She truly goes above and beyond. She definitely loves what she does and let's that shine through teaching her classes. She expresses herself fully and will have you laughing and giggling the entire class. She inspire you by her example of strength and flexibility. She will push you to your limits yet also find spaces for surrender and softness. Her bootcamp is also a very special experience. Where she guides you through a sacred time in the early mornings to build your core, dance, be silly, and release any tension that may still be stored in our bodies. I love the art of this space. I love the community and powerful individuals that i have had the honor of practicing yoga within this community. All of the other teachers I experienced in this beautiful barn were professional, welcoming, and unique. My daughter said she when it was her turn she was rude, didn't talk to her and when she asked the price she said "what do you want to pay? How much do you have?" She's 13. Absolutely inappropriate. For someone who's supposed to be so "zen" , she's not.

From the very beginning, the staff at Prime Time made that transition so much easier for me. They showed such genuine kindness and patience with both me and my baby. As a new mom, I had a lot of worries--especially when she was having trouble eating at first. Instead of brushing off my concerns, they were incredibly attentive and reassuring. They kept a close eye on her, communicated with me throughout the day, and worked with me to make sure she was comfortable and getting what she needed. Their level of care and understanding meant the world to me during a time when I was already feeling emotional about being away from her. Knowing that she was with people who were nurturing, patient, and truly cared about her well-being gave me so much peace of mind while I was at work. They created a warm, supportive environment not just for the babies, but for the parents too. I'm so grateful for the love and attention they gave my daughter during such an important stage of her life.
