Delicious Sichuan-style family restaurant! All the dishes are freshly prepared by the family chefs and served in a timely manner. Jean and her son, Eric, are very welcoming and take the time to explain each dish, while the staff provides excellent service. You can BYOB to pair with their flavorful and spicy Sichuan specialties. The spacious dining hall and family-style setting create a warm, authentic Chinese atmosphere.

Yummm! My hubby is hard to please with Asian inspired cuisine and he absolutely raved about this place!! He ordered the hot and spicy chicken and it was delicious!! And yes it was actually spicy which made it even better. I ordered the noodles with shrimp and some hot and sour soup. It was all delicious. also portions are huge! When ever in the area this will be our go to place. Staff were super nice and the place felt warm and welcoming!

Been coming here since 2006 and the food quality and quantity and service is just as consistent then as it is now, which is unheard of. The variety is quite impressive too. Very, very authentic Sichuan cuisine.

This is my new (it seems like it's been around for a while) go-to spot for sichuan in the DFW area. It's located to the right of Jusgo supermarket and I don't how I just found out about this place. It's got a fairly large seating space and appears to be BYOB. They've got a HUGE menu with tons of items on there. And then they have a separate menu with all the good good with photos. What we've gotten: - A few of the fish dishes are quite tasty. Fish + tofu or water-boiled fish are winners - The beef/pork dishes with peppers are pretty different as well. The peppers appear to be chopped up shishito peppers, which is something I haven't experienced before but complements the dishes well. The beef chunks are also super tender. - If you're feeling adventurous, the fried intestine dishes are also pretty delicious Waitstaff is nice and there are definitely a few regulars that come by. Worth going to and trying all the dishes out!

The Dry Chili Chicken is crispy, fragrant, and addictive, and the Mapo Tofu is rich, silky, and full of that signature numbing heat. The staff are friendly, the service is quick, and the atmosphere feels cozy and welcoming. Definitely my go-to spot whenever I crave real Chinese comfort food. Highly recommend to anyone who loves spicy dishes done right!

The restaurant interior is very mom/pop/hole in the wall. It is not trendy, but the food is delicious and the service was great. We ordered 3 dishes, our regular Sichuan chicken and dan Dan noodles, and string beans. We were both very hungry that night, and we finished each dish with no take away! I would order all 3 items again in a heartbeat!

I went here because I heard their Dan Dan noodles were really good. They were yummy but not my favorite. The water tasted a little odd to me. I haven't found my favorite Dan Dan noodles in the U. S. Vancouver still has my favorite place for them. We ordered the spicy wontons and eggplants. The spicy wontons were okay, the filling wasn't my favorite. The eggplant was also not my favorite but it was flavorful. I always love the rice at Chinese restaurants but kinda bummed if that was my favorite dish. The area is really cool and I hope I can try the other places too. The staff were nice.

I have found the flavor profile suited for my palate. Sichuan cuisine brings the flavorful, saucy heat vs. a dry, numbing heat when something is too spicy. These are the items we ordered and my review for each: Boiled Fish with Napa Cabbage and Sautéed Spinach - the best chili oil fish I have had at any Chinese restaurant. This is a large portion so well worth the money. Pork Intestines and Blood Cake - the pork seemed to have been braised for hours so it is tender, succulent, and juicy. Orange Chicken - not a fan of this dish since it was really sweet (I did not order it). Do not eat the orange rinds!! Sautéed String Beans - decent but not the best in town. Bamboo Shoots - one of the best spicy bamboo shoots as it is delicate and delightful. Spare Ribs and Taro - we had to take this dish to-go because it still hadn't arrived by the time we were done with dinner. However, it was delicious and hearty. The taro gave me a sense of American meat and potatoes. I already plan to go back soon to try some other dishes that caught my eyes. I dig the idea of pictured menus as it helps with my selection.

The dishes were overly salty, losing the authentic spicy, numbing, and aromatic flavors characteristic of Sichuan cuisine.

We come to this place once a month for take out usually either the medium or small size is our go to (great for home hot pot). Today we ordered a medium pot and the size was clearly smaller than usual. After spending a few minutes talking to the staff who reassured us this was medium so we just left. Then we get home, as we literally ordered a medium pot last week, this was clearly smaller than what we had last week. We even took out a container ordered a while ago for small which is the exact same size as the one we got today which is supposed to be a medium. It even feels lighter.... I guess this is shrink-flation? But seriously, it's only been a week....

I'm glad that I finally tried it though. My favorite part about this place was all the side dishes. They were all very high-quality and delicious. It was the first time I tried 1000 year-old egg. The presentation was beautiful and the Szechuan added a nice kick to it. The fried pork belly was crispy outside and still juicy inside. The fried bean curd was perhaps my favorite; a lightly breaded crispy exterior with a delicately soft interior. When you order the fish soup, you get to choose additional ingredients to add inside. We picked little mushrooms, wide noodles, and green leafy veg. The mushrooms were so small that they kind of got lost in the soup so I probably wouldn't recommend those. However, the wide noodles were excellent with a nice chewy texture. The soup itself was sour but not as sour as I was expecting, which was a pleasant surprise. Next time I would like to try the combination, fish and beef soup. The homemade milk mochi was amazing. You cannot skip this dessert. 5-stars. The four of us split the soup for three and it ended up being around $30 per person. This was for lunch and we were very full afterwards.

If you love heat, this is your place, though I'll probably stick to the milder broths next time. The broth was well-flavored and the meats were excellent quality. Compared to other hot pots, the vegetable selection is a bit more limited, and they offer a variety of paid drinks like milk tea and canned sodas. Pro Tip: Definitely save room for the Korean Shaved Ice. It's light, delicious, and way bigger than it looks in the photos--one was more than enough for me! We will definitely be back soon.

Including drinks and changing the seafood / freezer items was probably one of their best decision ever. While the interior layout remains mostly unchanged, prior to the change I was a little worried about their business because it seemed kind of slow after other new competition opened in the area but I'm happy to see them make changes for the better and thriving. Meat quality is excellent, service is friendly and now they include a homemade shaved ice dessert which is cool. The only unfortunate thing is that they've bumped up their "basic" menu quite a bit and kinda priced me out of what I would call a quick casual go-to meal. While I am happy they are doing well, it's just not a place that I can frequent anymore especially being that my wife doesn't eat that much anyway. Would have been nice to have a slightly lower tier option available as not everyone cares for Wagyu. Definitely still an authentic hot pot experience though!
