Super delicious! I came in during the week for lunch to satisfy my dim sum craving and I was definitely impressed. This spot is located in a strip mall so there is plenty of parking available. The restaurant itself is small and their focus is certainly not on decor or ambiance.. but who cares when the food is so good, right?! I can imagine how busy this place gets on the weekend because even for a weekday lunch it was quite packed with large groups. The staff was working really hard and as a customer here you will need to be patient so just keep that in mind. I will definitely be returning in the future to get my Chinese food craving fix and I can't wait to try more items. Warning: Be prepared for a food coma. :) read more

Fast, friendly service for dinner for two with no wait to be seated in a cozy booth. Fresh vegetables and stir fried meat and tofu served with hearty portions served beautifully on the plates too! Reminds my husband of the home-cooking style like his Chinese mom used to make at home for them. Perfect for dinner with leftovers for lunch the next day! This is becoming a regular stop for dinner because they also serve popular dim sum dishes so we can get our favorites with dinner too! Haven't been here for a long time and finally went back today. Man it was great! It's in an unassuming strip mall but the food there is fresh and fast! Service was normal. Had to wait a little for lunch on a Sunday. Food itself was excellent. They have a good variety of fresh dim sum and authentic Chinese dishes. Everything was clearly fresh and hit the spot. Solid Cantonese family-style restaurant. Stopped by a few weeks ago while my parents were in town and our family friends ordered everything and footed the bill so I don't quite remember every dish we tried, but the lobster fried rice was tasty and I really enjoyed the egg shrimp dish - both the egg and the shrimp were cooked perfectly. I've been coming here for years--it's my go-to for Chinese comfort food in Dallas. The restaurant isn't very big: a few larger round tables for bigger groups and some booths for smaller parties. It gets packed during peak hours, but service is usually solid (just be patient on weekends). They don't take reservations; it's first come, first served. Be patient but order fast so you don't get caught behind orders from a larger group. Dim-sum is available all day and is one of the best places in town. They also have two specials menus (one by the entrance, one near the kitchen), and there are always hidden gems on there. On this visit, we came around 5 p.m. on a Saturday. It was early enough that we were able to get seated right away. Ordered the 贵妃鸡, 咸鱼茄子煲, and a 圆蹄 from the specials menu. Everything was great--the chicken was tender and flavorful (don't worry about the pink color--it's fully cooked), the eggplant was rich and piping hot, and the pork knuckle was the star: super tender meat, melt-in-your-mouth skin and fat, perfect with rice. Note: The chicken is one of their more sought-after dishes (so if it's available, order it!). Even my Chinese parents were impressed. The scallion chicken especially stood out. Service was pretty good until they got a little busy right when we were trying to get our check. It does seem like it gets pretty crowded on the weekends, so go early, especially if you have a large party. read more

We have been here couple times. It actually sells Cantonese cuisines like dim sum and they are executed well... such as beef flat noodles.. shaumai..crystal shrimp dumplings (hagao) , shrimp & pork dumplings, various buns. They also sell Sichuanese cuisine. It is rare that a place actually sells both types of cuisine. Although we didn;t come here for the Sichuan cuisine, I heard they also executed it well. We just didn't buy Sichuanese cuisine from them, since we love this other Sichuan restaurant so much, that no other place come close to it per our taste buds. this restaurant has good business, price is also reasonable read more

We finally found a decent Chinese restaurant to go to! The flavor is very good except for a couple of dishes! The beef flat noodles was lacking the beef, not much flavor and the salt and pepper squid was over done! All the other dishes were just fine! This casual Chinese spot serves up solid classics and tasty dim sum. The fish maw and crab soup was warm, comforting, and full of flavor. I loved it even on a hot summer day. My husband found us TKS to try their dim sum. We loved trying the various dishes available. The dim sum menu is a bit small, but surely did not disappoint. We ordered the following dishes (many not pictured): 1) fried shrimp egg roll 2) shrimp dumplings (ha gao) 3) Chinese BBQ buns 4)spare ribs with black beans 5) steamed sticky rice with pork The five dishes were just enough for the both of us. Only one person serving when we walked in, there are about 6 tables, food is tasty and good enough to come back again, service is so so and what can you expect when one person in the front doing everything, seating people, taking order, serving dishes, and collect money. This place is the best dimsum place in town. After Tian Tian left for Austin we were searching for an alternative and this is it. I actually like better than Tian Tian at its peak. This place has like a 20 item dimsum menu and all my favorites are executed to perfection. The texture on the chang fun is great. It's not too thick or tough. The shao mai is tasty with giant chunks of shrimp. The fried shrimp dumplings come with a huge glob of mayo in it and the crispiness is great. The xian shiu how was good the first 3 times, the last time it was a little undercooked. The prices are super great. Usually for 4 times runs us under 22 dollars. They also have dimsum on the weekdays. read more

First time here, I never really even come to this intersection for food tbh. But I heard this was one of the few Dungeness crab fried rice places in the area. I got some good to go and so I believe the food would be better if I ate there. But here's what I got: 1. Crab fried rice - really good, on par w others 2. Bbq pork steam buns - pretty good, standard baos 3. Beef flat noodles - good, maybe lacked more beef 4. Lobster noodles - my least favorite, a little runny / oily Overall a good experience though and will probably try to eat at the restaurant. read more

Really delicious and authentic Chinese food. The fish and mustard greens was so tasty and appetizing. Good to pair it with white rice. We had a green veggie dish that was tasty but it had too many stalks in it. I told our server and joked with her about it - she ended up discounting the dish for us. We ordered dim sum for the kids and fried rice - both were tasty. The service was good - they get super busy on the weekends. The place is a bit greasy and dirty - but the food is probably some of the most authentic that I've tasted in the Plano area. If you crave Cantonese or Hong Kong style food, this is the place. Some of my Hong Kong friends have visited here and have positive things to say about it. So we decided to give it a try. We came in around lunch hour on Sunday. It was not too crowded, and we were seated right away. We ordered a few items: fried garlic bean sprouts, fish fillet stir-fried with pickled cabbage, and crispy rice crust beef. The fish fillet with pickled cabbage was very delicious. The fish was tender and savory. We particularly liked the pickled cabbage. It's no ordinary pickled vegetable. The fermented taste was quite distinct, which is the best part of it. However, if you don't like the taste of like blue cheese or stinky tofu, you may think they give you rotten vegetables or fish. We also liked the crispy rice crust beef. The beef slices were thick, but very tender. The crispy rice crust soaked up the yummy sauce. It was so delicious! The bean sprout was fine. It was nice and fresh with a touch of garlic taste. We found the food here not too salty or greasy. We also loved the portion size, which was very generous, considering many restaurants nowadays have downsized the portion to save costs :( We'll come back and try other dishes. They have dim sum. Stopped in to check out a new dim sum option and glad I did! Thankfully we came in later in the afternoon since the restaurant was very busy. We were seated in about 5 minutes and the server was very friendly. Food was great! We had the Beef Flat Noodles, Salt and Pepper pork chop , Shrimp Dumplings, Steamed BBQ Buns, and spare ribs and all were very well prepared and tasty. The highlight was the Salt and Pepper Pork Chop, so well prepared and tasty! Be aware that there are bones, but it is still well worth it! One of the best versions of this dish I have had. If you want some more authentic style Chinese food than you can find in many places this should be on your list. read more

We were very hungry and we wanted something shrimp. PB suggested this place, bc he noticed it when he went to Domino's next door, so we decided to fine here. When we went in, no one was at the front counter and I didn't see any customers(it was after 3pm). We were seated fairly quickly and I saw that they have Dim Sum to order as well! PB decided on egg drop soup and shrimp fried rice without peas and carrots. I ordered salt and pepper shrimp with shell. I must say that food was really good, but service was not. The server(I assumed she's the owner as well)never checked on us to see if we needed anything or drink. PB was dying of thirst and I offered him my water, bc I didn't want him to choke on food. She was not friendly either in my opinion, but like I said food was good! The inside the restaurant was nice and clean. I think I interrupted their lunch/dinner as they were eating. This place reminded me of Chinese restaurant in NYC! Maybe, they came from NYC, I don't know, but I sure felt like I was back in NYC the way the waitress treated us. Reading through the yelp reviews, one reviewer said he was a Hong Konger, and he gave thumbs up to this place. So we came, and we are happy that we did. As far as Chinese cuisine is concerned, we come spoiled from the 626 area in So. Cal. So happy to report that this place is as authentic as it gets. We ordered tripe, chicken feet, shrimp hakaw, pork siumai, sticky rice, tofu wrap and a non dimsum item, salt and pepper pork chop. Although they have very limited dimsum selection, just the basic best sellers, the flavors were very good. Probably the best we have tasted here in North Texas . Even the service is authentic, a no non- sense service which we are so used to in San Gabriel Valley. LOL read more

The verdict. Likely back, but only in the absence of few options. The reality is the Chinese food in greater DFW isn't very good. I continue to try place after place, and this may be among the best of the lot. Perhaps I'm spoiled having lived in Vancouver and California for so long. They only do takeout in light of the pandemic, but based on the robust activity they appear to be a popular restaurant. Appears to be Northern Chinese bias style (doing both Northern and Cantonese). Food was just ok. 1. Pea Shoots. Decent but not as fresh and light as I'd like. 2. Sweet & Sour Spareribs, not bad, though I wish they had more sweet and sour options. 3. Singapore Vermicelli was ok though could have used more flavor and lacked BBQ pork (classic way to make). 4. Sliced Chicken in Garlic Sauce. Pretty good and kids' favorite. 5. Combo Fried Rice little bland. Besides the above, other issue why not 5 stars is their online prices don't match reality. Ordered here last night and loved it! Definitely leaning more towards 4.5 and if we come back again I'll update my review if the other dishes are just as good. There are very few Chinese restaurants that is just all around good here in Dallas. There are some where the food is good, but the service is terrible or a place where "the dumplings are amazing!" but the other half of the menu is bad. We ordered the following and were overall satisfied at how everything turned out: hot and sour soup, beef rice noodles, eggplant in spicy garlic sauce, pork with black fungus, beef dried hot pot and house special boiled fish. There were not a lot of bad points here. The hot and sour soup wasn't sour and had a tad too much sesame oil. The only other bad point I recall was that the dried hot pot wasn't really dried. In fact, it leaked all over in the container and take out bag. With that being said, there were so many good points. All of the dishes had so much flavor and just the right amount of seasoning. Nothing was out of place and all of the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh. Most importantly, all of the meat tasted tender. I'm thinking they mastered the "velveting" technique or something because each of the meat dishes tasted incredible. My favorites were probably the dried hot pot, even though it was wetter than I anticipated and the eggplant. Those two dishes alone will have me coming back! And yes, when we picked up the food, the woman working was so incredibly nice. A huge bonus at this restaurant that will surely be a regular for us. read more

SUMMARY: Receipt attached proving that I ordered from here. Certifiably one of the worst take out experiences I've had. Staff at front beyond rude, intentionally aloof, uncaring staff, and utterly disgusting men's bathroom. If you enjoy tip toeing around puddles of urine, this is the place for you. Do not recommend at all. BACKGROUND: Spent the day in McKinney and Plano to visit friends on this first day of the year. If this is an omen of things to come, this is not good for me. WHAT HAPPENED: I arrived shortly before 3PM, made my order with an older lady. The younger one wearing the mask was busy punching in receipts or something into her terminal. Not sure what but she was busy. I ordered two dishes, hot spicy squid and pigs feet. I paid with a debit card, signed, and left it on the counter. They both walked away. A family of 3 walked in after me. Got seated. Then another guy came after me and ordered take out. He and I were sitting on opposite ends of the bench. Another two guys walked in for dine-in service. I inquired and asked where's my order and that I've been waiting for 25 mins. The old lady asked me what I ordered, went to the back, and upon appearing, she just went to serve the other tables. Didn't say a word to me. And when I stood at the counter to give her the "what's going on look?" she just avoided eye contact. I went to the bathroom and OMG, utter filth. I didn't even go. There were large puddles of urine all over the floor. Literally I washed my hands and left the bathroom. I returned to the lobby area and then I go to the counter to wait and put pressure on these people to get my order. Seeing that I'm being ignored, I sit back down. Then the older lady comes out with food...and yes, hands it to the guy who ordered after me. Now I'm really pissed. So I get up and said to the younger lady who didn't give me any eye contact and said "I've been waiting over half an hour now. I see that you served both those tables over there and they came after me. What's going on and where's my food?" She didn't even say anything and just ignored me. Of course I was pissed but I'm not about to go Waffle House on her. So I told her very sternly to refund me my money now and all of a sudden she jumps into action, runs to the back, and not 15 seconds later, has my lukewarm food for me. No apology, no words, just handed me my food. I left with it in a foul mood and drove 40 mins home and did not take one bite of their craptastic food. If their bathroom is any indication of their level of cleanliness, I can't imagine what the kitchen looks like. RETURN VISIT? Hell no. And I'd advise y'all to walk into their bathroom before sitting down and dining in this place. I should've taken a picture of the piss puddles. The price of the menu is is market price and it was around $69- when we went. We went closer to closing time so they had ran out of most vegetables but we were happy with the water spinach. I walked in with my two babies and waited, only to be completely ignored. The worker walked past us multiple times (at least 2-4 times) without acknowledging us, as if I was invisible. They didn't even bother to serve us. I can't help but wonder if this is racism or some other reason why I was treated this way. This is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. Food is always good and prices are reasonable, but customer service is severely lacking. On a weekday, they have 1 person lady doing taking takeout order, playing hostess and a waitress for the whole restaurant. Restaurant can use a overhaul...decor, tables, booth/chairs are dated and the restaurants can be a lot cleaner. read more
