I've been here multiple times and every time they are very kind and accommodating. Food is great and hot!

The food was amazing the soup was slightly under seasoned but still was nice and hot. The noodles were excellent the veggies could be cut a little smaller and the broccoli could be steamed a bit longer, but the dish was delicious. The service was friendly and the place is kept well cleaned. It is a nice and quiet place good if you wanna talk over lunch or dinner without loud music. Will be eating here again.

When you call ahead, you do not need to wait. Black noodles called, 'Jjajangmeon' which is noodle with lots of seafood on the top. 'Tangsuyuk' taste different from other places. You should try these two!

I stopped into this little spot with a craving for some quick Chinese. I didn't expect too much, but I was pleasantly surprised. I had the veggie lunch plate, which came with an egg roll. The veggie plate was pretty darn good. The veggies seemed fresher than most small places like this. The water chestnuts were soooo good. And then there was the egg roll. I mean, an egg roll is pretty simple. Fried, filled with tasty treats. Not too much can be said, right? I wouldn't suggest you drive the 30 miles to get there, but if you find yourself in the hopping city of Allen stop by and try this egg roll, and you'll know. The atmosphere is quite modest, but I like that. Nice paintings on the walls. Clean floors, clean tables. Always a plus. The best part of the place? The staff, who I'm assuming are the owners. We chatted a bit and she liked when I used some Chinese and told her I had stayed in Hong Kong once (where she's from). Very nice folks. AND, I didn't make the minimum for a credit card purchase, but she (with a bit of hesitancy) went ahead and let me anyway. Very nice.

Pretty decent fare. Nothing new or exciting. Only thing I didn't like were the fried wontons. The crispy chicken wings were above average.

The biggest issue for us was the ordering system. Everyone has to scan a QR code, place their own order, and enter their phone number. For a large group, this became very confusing because when the food came out, there was no clear way to tell who ordered what. We spent a lot of time trying to figure out which dishes belonged to each person. If you're coming with a big party, I definitely recommend making a list of everyone's orders ahead of time so it's easier to organize when the food arrives. The food itself was extremely spicy. Most of the BBQ items -- seafood, chicken, beef, and pork -- seemed to have the same heavy cumin and spicy seasoning, so the flavors started tasting very similar. Personally, that wasn't for us. However, the soy sauce fried rice and the cold noodles were really good and stood out the most from the meal. The service was good overall, although communication was a little difficult at times because it was hard to understand the staff's accents. The restaurant itself was clean and well kept. I think this place may work much better for smaller groups, but for our large party it was stressful and the food flavors were too repetitive for our taste. Unfortunately, it's probably not somewhere we would return to. Also they added 25% tip mandatory without mentioning it anywhere ; It was an experience though

When i entered, wow!!, just 3 booths and 1 table. Very small place. there was only one other couple in the restaurant eating. And a coule getting a "pick-up". I noticed three very extensive menus on the wall.I thought I would try the Mongolian Beef. This one dish is the one I use to compare a lot of Chinese Resatuants. Wow!! The order was just right with the ratio of Beef to Fried Rice. The Fried Rice was "Fried to perfection, perfect color, texture and Flavor" the Beef was cooked just right as well. It was very lean with the perfect amount of spices, onionms, etc., I woiuld say that this Mongolian Beef was better than, if not the best that I have ever eaten. Who would have thunk it. Now I want to try some of the more than 200 other menu items. I give it 5 stars for the entree, but overall 4 stars because, as excellent as this place is, it needs to be a little larger, and the food should be out a little quicker.

My first visit was solo, since I'd been curious for some time. It was just me, a bowl of wonton soup, and some Kung Pao Chicken, and the whole experience felt like I'd been teleported to a cozy spot in San Francisco. Warm ambiance, incredible food, and that "I could sit here for hours" vibe. I ate at the bar, which is by the entrance, people watched and enjoyed my delicious food. Naturally, I went back with a couple friends and my wife... and that's when things escalated. We ordered like we were feeding a small village. Kung Pao (again, because it's that good), House Special Soup Bao, chicken lo mein, pepper chicken, General Tso's chicken, and a bunch of other dishes that I lost track of somewhere between "wow" and "how are we still eating." Every single plate was fantastic. Not just "good for a group order," not just "surprisingly solid," it was legitimately delicious across the board. The table looked like a celebration, and we treated it like one. Every single dish was a great portion size, delicious, and tasted WONDERFUL. By the end, our eyes were definitely bigger than our bellies, but honestly, if you're going to over‑order anywhere, this is the place to do it. I can't wait to go back... though next time I'll try to show at least a little self‑control. No promises. Chef Sun's is officially one of my favorite spots. Great food, great atmosphere, and the kind of consistency that keeps you planning your next visit before you've even left the parking lot. When we got to out table we didn't know what to expect, The menu was packed with so many options so we tried a few different apps and dishes to share. We went with the popcorn chicken, chicken & shrimp shumai, steamed green beans, and cumin lamb. The popcorn chicken was awesome. Just the experience of it. You're presented with a bouquet of popcorn chicken. The chicken was flavorful and had a nice amount of spice to it. I opted not to add any chilis to my bites as I found the chicken alone to be just the right amount of spice. Would recommend this dish for the experience mainly. The chicken and shrimp shumai was outstanding. One of my friends has a strong dislike of any shrimp dish, but truly loved this. It was perfectly seasoned and so tasty. The steamed green beans were great and had the perfect amount of crunch. While the cumin lamb was seasoned well and tasted great. The only miss was the fried rice. I was honestly surprised that execution was so strong with everything else, but the rice lacked flavor. That said, I'd gladly come to Chef Sun's again.

The culinary experience was so over the top, I don't even know where to begin. IT.WAS.THAT.GREAT. It all started upon entering this smaller restaurant that has a peaceful ambiance, as we were cheerfully greeted by Jeanne, who knew we were arriving as our friend had called ahead. Snce we arrived a little early, and our friend was en route, we decided to try the scallion pancakes, with the Chengdu spicy dumplings and sesame bread which was enthusiastically recommended by Jeanne. The appetizers arrived and we all enjoyed them. The dumplings arrived in a spicy broth-like elixir that complemented the soft pillowy pockets of seasoned pork. The scallion pancakes were mediocre at best, but the sesame bread was amazing!! It had the perfect texture and savory flavor that was enjoyed by all. For our entrees, we ordered two dishes of the Stir Fried Shrimp with Yibin Chili and asparagus (extremely delicious), a spicy Clay Pot Fish, Beef and Napa Cabbage with spicy chili sauce (incredible spicy flavor!), Hot and Spicy Chicken (chunks of deep fried chicken, yum!!), Combination Fried Rice, and an order of the sauteed snow pea leaves. Everything arrived fresh and freshly prepared. Every entree we chose was exceptional! Our iced teas and ice waters were always refilled, and boy were we stuffed!
