I have four year old twins and we have been using Little Smiles since they were just over a year old after an accident involving one of my twins' teeth. We've been going every 6 or so months ever since and we absolutely love it there! We used to live across the street but moved out to Round Hill last year and still make the drive as we aren't willing to switch. I remember hating the dentist when I was little. My four year olds love going and actually get excited before an appointment now. So much so that after our last appointment, my daughter told me she wanted to be a dentist when she grows up. :) They are very accommodating and the office vibe is so friendly and warm. Our first visit solidified our decision to switch dentists. I had been taking our three year old to the same dentists that we use, but felt like a pediatric dentist would be a better fit. The office environment and the thoughtful setup are super appreciated. There are plenty of spaced out waiting areas, and a little nook with a TV playing kids movies. They also have TVs mounted overhead above the seats to keep kids entertained while they do their cleaning. They provide the kids a token at the end of the visit to claim a prize from a toy vending machine. Staff are great with kids, full of tricks and methods to help your child ease through the visit. I also appreciated the extra attention for first time patients, as they showed us around and explained how the visit works. 100000% recommend them! read more

We love Dr. Kans and his entire team! Our most recent visit my 4 year old had to have some work done and we decided to have him be sedated with anesthesia. Dr. Dorsch who is the anesthesiologist is beyond wonderful and made sure my son was comfortable the entire process from before and after he woke up. Both Dr. Kans and Dr. Dorsch called the same day to follow up on how my son was doing. My son is a scaredy cat in general but his experiences with little smiles has him asking me to go back to the dentist everyday! The office is new, modern and has a tv with kids movies playing in the waiting room. Each chair has its own tv for the comfort of the kids. But my favorite thing about the entire practice is how patient and amazing the entire staff is with children. There is something so special about Little Smiles. I'm so glad we're a part of the little smiles family! P.S every new patient gets a swag bag with THE MOST softest little smiles T-shirt. My kids love to wear them everywhere we go!!! read more

Took my almost 2 year old for her first visit and was pleasantly surprised with the level of care she received. Everything from check in, to the dental assistant's exam, to the dentist's exam to check out was smooth, expeditious and everyone was really nice. My daughter felt comfortable and enjoyed her visit with came with a dinosaur to hold during her exam and kids shows available on movable TVs in the exam room. To top it off, she got a little gift on the way out as well as a gift bag given to mommy with some cool swag inside. Everything about this visit was great and I'd recommend this place for your child. Only downside was I asked at the time of making my appointment how much we can expect to spend (estimate) without having dental insurance. The person on the phone was unable to tell me which made me very uneasy. I called back and got an estimate from someone else who told me between $100 and $300. I ended up spending $216. We've had one visit here for my toddler and it went as good as it possible could. It's never fun having to brush a toddler's teeth, especially a new person (the dental tech).. the doctor himself is kind and good at explaining things. I do wish we could have a regular tech and one that was good with toddlers. It's important to be patient and calm with young children. read more

First of all, the office is always clean and pristine so it offers a great first impression. The dentists are super patient and attentive to kids and put everyone at ease. Our sons first appointment was here and couldn't have gone better (no tears or trauma). However, I had to subtract a star because one appointment was cancelled the night before and it took multiple phone calls to get it rescheduled. Otherwise, we love this place. read more

My daughter has been to two other dentists before Little Smiles. Each time they couldn't get her to sit down, open her mouth, and let them look at her teeth. Both dental practices did adult teeth too, so even though I was hoping I could have everyone together at one practice, I finally went to Little Smiles for just my daughter. This place is a miracle! Not only did my daughter open up her mouth to be checked out, but she allowed them to *floss* and put that fluoride paste stuff all over her teeth. I couldn't believe it. It helped a lot that they put on shows like Dora to distract her from the teeth cleaning. The dental hygienist I met and the dentist himself were very nice and knew how to treat children like the kids they are. Makes me wish I was a kid again just so I can have them do my teeth! read more

This is a bad review. Parents, be careful about what you paid for since they will come back to you and ask for more money after three months of services. They will offer you to "SEEK ANOTHER PROVIDER" if you don't agree with the additional charges posted to you and demand "WE NEED TO GET PAID" while you paid on the day of the service. read more

Make sure check your insurance & payment. Over charged, waiting weeks for call back from manager then my insurance company call and sent letter to them they cannot bill me. Manager clearly told me after several conversations she will call me back because she got notice from my insurance company and it has been month they resent my bill without call me or what If you write your negative google review , they will removed it. read more

The things that make you go hmmmm?? So my count is that there has been three different pediatric dentists (Dr. Sinada, Dr. Blank and Dr. Saleh) since this practice has opened which was during the summer of 2013. Not sure what has gone on and why that many dentists have left, but I want consistency with the dentist that my kids see. Not only did they change it they don't tell you it has changed. No information when they call, email or text you a million times for your reminder. No let's meet Dentist #3 (Dr. Lara Saleh) email went out that I saw. So I had my kids already to see Dentist #2 (Dr. Derek Blank). Unacceptable that there was NO heads up as this took them by surprise. I saw my dentist who I had as a child from age 5 until 35. I realize pediatric dentists are all the rage these days verses the family dentist I saw as a kid. Don't dentists normally stay in one practice and build their clients? So this past visit my daughter who was seen had two surface cavities. They want to use sedation for her just because "little kids are wiggly and don't do well with shots in the mouth?" Not quite sure I am understanding that....my son had a filling or two done at the same age as my daughter and much more wiggly and active than my shy sweet girl and that dentist (Little Smiles Dentist #1 ) didn't recommend sedation. Is this a pediatric dentist office? Aren't you specialized in dealing with "wiggly" children? Oh and it is nearly impossible to get her scheduled for the next two months where she doesn't have to miss school (school is just 3 hours long as she in half day Kindergarten). Anyways...we are scheduled for a second opinion today at a different office for my daughter and her cavities. ***Update****After the second opinion with another practice I scheduled with that other practice to fill the cavities. Well... it turns out there were none there?!?! Could have been that they disappeared with extra good brushing by the time I had the appointment to fill them...but regardless they were that small! So happy I didn't put my daughter to sleep for those two "cavities." read more

This was our first time and Dr. Costa & his team were really good. Starting with front desk- warm welcome & quick. We were taken in at our appt time. Hardly 5 mins of waiting. Dental Hygienist Joslina was amazing. Made my 5 yo feel very comfortable. Talking to her & exposing each cleaning step. Dr.Costa- he met us with smiling face & amazing high energy. Can't recommend Little Smiles enough!!!! My two boys (3 and 1) came in today for a cleaning and I was so impressed with how comfortable they made us all! I was nervous it would be a nightmare so I brought my mother as back up help... didn't even need her! The whole team was friendly and very efficient. The front lobby was amazing - tons of toys and iPads for the kiddos to play with while you wait (we showed up too early so I'm thankful for this!!!!) also courtesy bottles of water :-) We will be back in 6 months!! read more

My 6 yr old had to get a filling and I was dreading it... but he was so good with my son, the whole thing was over and done with within 30 mins with not only no tears, but lots of laughter!! I took my two kids in for a routine 6-month cleaning here twice. The first time was fine. The second time, however, I was charged $150+ for services that my insurance company did not cover (e.g., x-ray and flouride) because the services exceeded the limit. According to my insurance company (MetLife), the dentist should have known that the services were not covered by my insurance plan, but the dentist did not notify me beforehand. Had the dentist told me that the x-ray was covered only once every five years, I could have easily contacted my prior dentist to get the x-ray for his review - problem solved. Had the dentist told me that the flouride was covered only once a year under my insurance plan, I would have skipped it - not a big deal. This is the first time in decades that I have gone to a dentist, asked for a routine cleaning and got billed for anything. I paid the invoice promptly and then, over the course of a few weeks, I called and emailed the dentist office multiple times to discuss how to prevent this from happening again. I gave the dentist office the benefit of the doubt and was willing to give them a second chance, but the staff there essentially blew me off because I had already paid the invoice. I wanted to like this place because it is convenient to my house, but in light of this incident, I will find another dentist. read more

We've been very happy. For our first visit, we had a separate room away from everyone which was nice. The dentist was really nice and friendly. The little extras like a goody bag and a coin to get a toy afterwards are fun too. There was one appointment where we had to wait, but they were apologetic and gave us an apology gift.
