Time saver! What I really love about him is that I can be honest with my "granola" ways and he's not one to roll his eyes at me. He doesn't encourage X-rays because of radiation exposure, he's ok that i choose fluoride free for the kids because he's seen flourosis and is very conservative regarding usage. I've also asked about the diy toothpastes and he said "ok, give it a try and let's see how your kids teeth look". He's willing to try new things and if he doesn't know something he'll be honest with you (I asked him about myobrace and he didn't know what it was). There aren't any holistic dentists in the area that will take insurance so we stick with regular dentists but among them I'd say dr s is the best. He lets me, as mom, make the final choice and encouraged me when he sees that I'm trying my best. (I just wish I can find myself a dentist like him!) If I had a "con" it'd be that I don't like that they diffuse essential oils in their foyer area. I'm not against it, just a very conservative user bc children with allergies could possibly react to it (nowadays you never know who's allergic to what). But thankfully none of my kids have reacted and it's less than a 5-10 minutes wait so it's not worth the fight for me.

What impressed me most is that Dr. Lam identified the root cause of all my dental issues -- something no other dentist has ever done -- and created a plan that is both affordable and totally manageable. Shortly thereafter I received a call from the office manager who informed me that in her absence the staff had performed this mistake. She promptly refunded the extra charge and profusely apologized. She also didn't go beyond her scope and reached out to Dr. Dang when an issue couldn't be resolved with the cleansing. The dentists, hygienists and front desk staff were professional. I am giving this place 3 stars because this is not my little one's first teeth cleansing. We switched over to this practice because it's closer to our home, and I want to take advantage of our PPO (previously DMO) insurance. The previous dentist reviewed my little one's teeth issues in great detail and did not try to sell us products, or ask us to return in 3 months, which will not be covered by insurance. That is what happened during our visit here. I did end up purchasing the product, and now having second thoughts. I know everyone has different views on dental care. Also, I know the front desk isn't clinical, but they do make scheduling a little difficult. I will leave it at that.

They have private rooms if your kids have sensory issues, and they have overhead TV screens playing animated kids movies that they can turn on/off depending on your child's needs/preferences. We are a family who refuses fluoride treatment for health reasons, and she understands and respects our decision, never trying to persuade or demean our decision (as other dentists have over the years). They even have an orthodontist in the same office for if/when your kids need braces later on in life. If your kid experiences a dental trauma, or requires sedation for major anxiety issues, she works with a trusted area anesthesiologist and shuts the office down once per month for dedicated sedation and surgical cases. (Which we have used 5x over the last 10 years, and highly recommend.) The waiting room has a safari theme with jungle animal decals, stuffed plush, etc. There's a smaller "kids tech room" that has video games and mounted iPads too! For adults, a Keurig machine for a much needed caffeine boost. They work with most dental insurance plans, and the front desk staff are very friendly. They even provide a letter of medical necessity if you need it to appeal for anesthesia coverage from your plan. Highly recommend Dr. Neda Kalantar for any type of kid, including those with special needs such as autism, ADHD, anxiety and sensory issues.

I needed a tooth pulled however the dentist kept trying to sell me on implants. I came back because I couldn't find another Medicaid provider. My tooth is cracked and throbbing. I had to arrange transportation to get here. When I got to my appointment, they asked me to pull my first negative review. I said I wouldn't. Then the office manager said they wouldn't see me until I got the issues with Medicaid taken care of first. Of course the owner of the practice is on vacation spending all the money. On the day of? They wasted my time and wouldn't see a medical emergency. The issue is over $134 that they charged me for consultation, no cleaning no extraction. I extracted my own tooth with pliers in the restroom at Home Depot. Medicaid would not pay it because they assumed I still had Cigna Dental but I lost it after the divorce. I took care of the issue with Medicaid and texted it to them. See attached photos. But obviously Dr. Gloria didn't resubmit the claim. I did everything they asked me to do. The tooth that didn't get pulled started throbbing unbearably so I went to Urgent Care last week. Because this was an emergency, I decided to go back to Dr. Gloria to have the tooth extracted. This morning I arrive at my scheduled appointment only to be told to pull my negative review. After I said no, they told me that they couldn't treat me for nonpayment. Keep in mind this was a medical emergency. *Added next day* I googled dentist that take Medicaid and found Herndon Dental Arts. They saw me the same day. The office is much bigger, cleaner, longer hours, much more professional front desk staff and the hygienists and doctors were awesome friendly and didn't try to upsell me. They extracted two bad teeth and took x-rays for dentures. I was there until 8 pm on a Friday. Much much better overall experience than Dr. Gloria's "glory hole" dental practice.

I've had nothing but wonderful experiences with this clinic. I've had X-rays, dental exams/cleanings, tooth repair and teeth whitening. All of which were fantastic. I actually drive 1 hour to go here since moving. The hygienist who I usually go to makes the cleaning process painless and even pleasant. Something I never thought I'd say. The reception staff is incredibly kind and helpful. I also had really great results on my teeth whitening ! They often run specials for it and was excited to get a good deal and many shades of lightening! (Due to mine being comprised of surface level stains) One of the dentist's exams the dentist noticed my lymph nodes under my neck were swollen and recommended me to see a doctor regarding the matter. VERY THROUGH! I recommend this clinic to legit everyone that's in the market for a dentist.
