In…read morethe middle of my treatment they cancel their contract with my insurance but didn't communicate with several patients. At the end, I was charged way more than the agreed amount. I tried to talk and was ignored. I find this very unprofessional and unethical. Anything that we agree upon before the start of a treatment should be honored even if one of the parties decided to change terms at some point. Very very disappointed. I work very hard to pay all my bills in time, and to be caught with a "surpise" additional bill was not fair to me or any other patients that were in the same position.

The more frustrating aspect is we got charged over $50 for a comprehensive exam because insurance only allows a comprehensive exam once every two years. But the previous comprehensive exam (done within the last two years) was done by a different dentist, so insurance would cover their compressive exam. They sent the wrong codes to insurance and they were adamant about us paying the fee. Pretty ridiculous, and frustrating because previous dentist we had for 5+ years, we never paid a dime. The lack of attention with insurance codes and burdening their client is disappointing and we will be going somewhere else now.

Dr. Dance got the whole thing done and the sedation wasn't anything to worry about. The staff calmed my nerves and it was the smoothest I believe it could have gone because of the staff and Dr. Dance. After all that, my daughter asked when she GETS to go back. So grateful for this experience.

So about $2,500 later for the two treatments of these cavities... They made early morning appointments (7:30am) so that I don't have to deprive my kiddo from eating/drinking any longer than necessary (starts at midnight so no biggie there) I also picked up the special prescription from a local pharmacy and then brought it in with me. They let her pick a flavor, take a horrible substance that tastes nothing like the flavor no matter what you pick (haha) and then sit and wait for it to take effect in the waiting room. My kid passed out on me... they then called us in about 30 mins later and she came to just enough to be a little startled but they're pros at this and she made it through everything like a champ. Which was saying something since she went in really freaked out. We still have one other appointment to get the rest and I have no doubt it will be smooth because they have such a great staff and doc.

My account was flagged due to my kids getting sick with the flu then COVID making it so we had to cancel their appointments. They refused to let us reschedule. The schedulers were a nightmare. There is 1 doctor there who is absolutely amazing. However the bigger guy is just as rude at the front scheduling staff. Very disappointed with this practice. Just know if your kids get sick you will be flagged and treated very poorly.

I don't like that they push sedation even for very minor procedures. My 4yo daughter needed a very…read moresmall pinpoint cavity filled on her front tooth and they pushed me to sedate her. The dental assistant rolled her eyes at me and scolded me saying I should've opted for sedation, she asked "if i was *at least* going to give her laughing gas" in a very exaggerated mocking tone. I replied that I was fine with the gas as I stated at to the dentist. My daughter was there for a laser assisted cavity cleaning for an extremely minor cavity and then it was to be filled with the tooth acrylic. There was no reason to sedate her for that. The dentist was wonderful he reassured me in my decision and had her cavity gently taken care of in under 15mins. He is truly a saint and the only reason I bring all my children back. Most of the other dental assistants and office staff are wonderful.

When you see brought back they have a move playing to keep the kids occupied while they get cleaned or filled. The back office staff is efficient 2 assistants/ hygienist worked on my kids at the same time. Dr. Ukich himself is very personable easy to talk to lets you voice concerns and ask questions. Makes good recommendations for each of the kids but is not pushy on what you should do. When the appointment was over it was easy to make a returning appointment at the front desk. The kids get little coins and they are able to pick out a little toy out in the waiting room. Definitely an amazing dentist.

She was asking personal medical questions in the lobby, not caring about patient privacy at all. When she finally brought me back into a room, she kept trying to ghost me with false information, in hopes of getting me to buy something that would not have benefited me (but would have benefited her, I'm sure!) She cared only about upselling a product, not caring that she was wasting my time, my money, and my insurance's money! I was glad to walk out of that meeting! Make sure you actually need what they are trying to sell you. Don't just take their word for it. (Even my regular dentist stated it wouldn't work for me).
