Awesome place to hang out and chill by yourself at the bar or a table with friends. There is indoor seating as well as outdoor covered seating. No food served, but easily order from a few options that will deliver your order to your table. T&C has a good vibe. Bartender was friendly and fast service. Beers were cold and quite a good selection. They also sell to go cans and growlers. You can also bring your own growler for them to fill. The green chili beer was fantastic in flavor overall.

Ok place. Beers were so-so, watered in my opinion, so very weak. The atmosphere was good, and you could sit outside if you wanted to. Prices were reasonable. I probably wouldn't go back as we only revisit the breweries and places that have beers we really like. But definitely worth trying. Maybe you'll like it better.

This would be a nice little 4 star brewery except...there is nothing to munch on. No frozen pizza, no popcorn or peanuts. Nothing but a small basket of bagged chips at the bar. This would have been a 4 star place because you can have as many tastes as needed to find what you want. The bartender, Mike, was super friendly and knowledgeable. The selection of beers is just about the most in town. They have growlers - he actually filled mine from the Spotted Dog! - and smaller cans they pour and top right there in the store. Call ahead if you know what you want canned and they'll have it ready for you. During COVID there's limited seating but a nice patio out front. Music not too loud. I don't recall a TV. Purchased a flight of 6 decent sized tasters. Just $10. I did not care for any of their lighter/blonder beers. Miller light has more taste and I dislike that beer with a passion. However the IPAs don't overwhelm and linger hours after you finish and the stouts were superb! I won't tell you which to try because everyone has a fav...but I brought home a growler of Buckhorn.

They sell local salsa and chips to munch on!

The brewery was quaint with outdoor patio seating as well. The red beer was DELICIOSO! So refreshing on a hot day. We also got a growler to go, and a cup as a nice memory of the location! Will visit this brewery again! Prices were not terrible as well.

If you want to have amazing staff and great craft beers come here!!!! I took my dad out for Father's Day. I had ordered a Red Beer and it was so amazing I came back for seconds. My dad ordered a flight and he loved every single one of them. The staff was extremely friendly. They had catering called Stone Crow and it was absolutely fantastic. They make their own hot dogs and they are here on Sundays and Mondays. I would definitely recommend coming here we will definitely be coming back here over and over again!!!

Cute place, nice patio, and lovely staff. However, beer wasn't my favorite. Thought it was kind of boring.

VIP tickets sold out quickly so we just went to check it out, it was everyone's first time. Free music, free parking, free games, what's not to like? Got there at 6:30pm and there was a line to get in (no water, no food, etc), a line for the auditorium, lines for food trucks and alcohol. Not as expensive as a ballpark game and a lot of variety of food and drinks. It was VERY well organized. They're very strict with bringing stuff in and the guard was thoroughly checking bags. There's a preshow band and lots of little information booths. I met Monica, who always makes me smile with her articles and is such a positive fun spirit here. She hosted the show and was super bubbly. The band Azucar was fantastic and had a surprise guest who wow'ed the crowd with her Selena set. We took a picture with her and she was so sweet. She has a great work ethic for one so young, it was her dad's birthday and she still came out. The crowd was a lot of fun and super supportive! I love the joyful dancing and everyone was just having a blast. The food trucks all sold out early so hit them first!Clean bathrooms, giveaways, and the Clark Nissan guy was a dance machine! There's only 2 shows left so I recommend you come out if you get a chance. It's a great fun night for everyone! This is an absolute gem in the heart of El Paso…read more I have been here for many musicals and never grow tired of seeing its beautiful infrastructure and ornate decor that brings out so much class. To date, I have seen Phantom of the Opera, Waitress, and Hairspray. I actually also missed out on an opportunity to see the hilarious Jo Koy who did his stint here as well but heard nothing but good things! I'm thrilled that El Paso can have these Off Broadway shows so that everyone can experience the beauty of theater art and see how much talent a group of people can put a show together and wow a crowd of all ages. A lot of people don't seem to realize just how crowded a theater can get and I've literally seen people leave because of that reason. It's unfortunate because it often happens when the show has already started and people on stage very much see every movement of the audience. Although it puts a slight hamper on the theater experience for myself, the shows are beyond magical and captivating to forget all about that inconvenience thankfully. I also have never bought season tickets for anything in my life but in order to get the optimal seats I wanted AND make sure it can be for Hamilton (only the best musical to date), I had to get season tickets. For Orchestra row S, I was very happy to pay $1000 for 6 shows. Thank you La Plaza Theater for bringing more life to El Paso!

From classic rock, to Broadway shows- and even the Dave Koz Christmas Jazz spectacular I saw tonight- the sound was incredible. Every seat in the house is a good seat! You can't go wrong- El Paso, get out during the week and see a show or concert. They have a "basics" bar- they can make basic cocktails, and they have wine. They beverages are served in these very cool souvenir cups with a snap lid to prevent spills as you make your way back to your seat- and the bartenders can make a gooood drink! I take Uber or Lyft when I come so I don't have to deal with traffic and parking. There are two major restaurants right in the vicinity for pre show dinner or post show drinks and dessert. Folks take advantage- this venue would be $$$$ in NY!

This was such a different experience for me…read more While the wine didn't knock my socks off, what did was the amazing hospitality and atmosphere. Sombra Antigua is where you wanna go to have a fun time. No judgments here, just a relaxing good time. While visiting New Mexico, I decided to check out the wine tasting scene. Admittedly, my expectations for wineries outside of my home state of California are generally quite low. Not because I don't think that there is better wine out there, but simply because I don't want to quickly compare everything to what I already know. Coming here, I knew it wouldn't be anything like the wineries back home. But that's honestly what I enjoyed most about Sombra Antigua. I stopped by solo without a reservation, and literally left with newly made friends that I hung out with for the rest of the night and even the next day. I mean, the people are so friendly, welcoming, and trustworthy here. There was live music and I sat and watched. 15 minutes later I was actually up and DANCING with a group of people. Shayla dancing with unknowns?! At MY big age? In this new era?! It's a rarity, I tell you! But, I did it. And it was SOOO much fun. Not to mention, the wine was actually pretty damn tasty. Yep, I said it! It was tasty. I enjoyed their Viognier, Demi sec, Barbera, and sweet cider beer. Is it the best wine that I've ever had in my life?! No, not at all. But, it's still good for the occasion and extremely affordable. They've got a large list of both wine and beer, and it's $5 for 5 tastes. BRING THOSE PRICES BACK TO NAPA!!! I know, I know... it ain't gonna happen. But, at least it's still thriving out here. The family who own and operate this winery is wonderful. They were right there dancing and drinking with everyone else. I love the family feel here. This is a winery where everyone know one another. And if they don't know someone, they're gonna get to know you and embrace you. I instantly felt embraced. What a warm and fun little gem this place is! If I'm ever back in this area again, a visit to Sombra Antigua will be first on my to-do list!

Alfresco! Fridays is one of my favorite Summer events in El Paso, it is a free outdoor concert…read moreseries that takes place every Friday between May and September. While the focus of it is never really the performers, I can't say I've ever heard of any of the acts I've seen before or the ones that are coming this year, it's more about an opportunity to unwind outdoors with your friends and some cold beverages (which are also your friend). But the music does matter, and to El Paso Live's credit, they bring a different type of music style every Friday, giving good variety to the series, so, for example, if you don't like Tejano (and why would you?), you can still check out the event on a Friday when a Tex-Mex band will be performing, and once you realize that Tejano and Tex-Mex are exactly the same, you can look at the schedule and plan to come a Friday when a Rock or a Salsa band will be playing. Avoiding Tejano music is a very important thing to me, I work hard at it, and so should you, no ear deserves to be tortured in such a way. But back to the point, they bring different kinds of music. They also have beverage tents where you can buy a cold beverage to enjoy the afternoon. The concerts used to take place next to the Plaza Theater, but that's not information you needed to know, because this year they moved it to the Plaza area at the Convention Center. There's plenty of seating, but I recommend getting there about 45mins-1hr early if you want to secure a table.
