Chicken Lemongrass Vermicelli Bowl with added shrimp
Apryl M.

Quick lunch stop and I had a taste for Vietnamese food. I must admit I haven't dined at this restaurant in over five years. The food was just OK, I've had better. I do remember the Vietnamese food were more intensely flavored but now it tastes more Americanized. Portion size is decent. Overall, food is still good for the area and price point for families.

This has been our go-to restaurant for Pho delivery, and we've never been disappointed with the quality, taste, and quantity of their food, so we decided to 'drop-in' for dinner instead of going the delivery route. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was CLEAN, quiet, and very welcoming when we arrived.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our table was spotless, and our server anticipated our needs before and throughout the meal. He asked if we knew how to use chopsticks, and a younger member of our party didn't, so he brought over a little, flexible clip to put the chopsticks, which helped guide their use and train the user on how to hold them. Brilliant! The portions were very generous and delicious! Our servers' attention, the great food, and family made this a very enjoyable experience. We will continue to support Little V.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Always come here and it's a great place to relax and eat some good Vietnamese food![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Check the pictures - very fresh food!

Shaking Beef Wok, beef too chewy, vermicelli slightly overcooked. Not great presentation. Descent flavor.

Return or not return? Maybe. Very respectful service. Yes, respectful. Wish more places could be like this. At times however, slightly awkward like stirring my iced coffee for me, for what seemed like a long time. Issue is this may not be what I would deem hard core Vietnamese. If this were a Chinese restaurant it would be serving Sweet & Sour Pork all day. Dishes, flavors clearly adapted to Western tastes. Shaking Beef seemed to be getting a lot of reviews so tried it. Best summary. Meh! Nothing special but nice flavor, though biggest issue is absence of love on the presentation, and while the beef appeared to be a filet, it was chewy and tough. Also order their rolls, the deep fried one wasn't bad. Simple and flavorful. The fresh rolls had too much vermicelli so a tad bland. Lastly, they had some food runners working who appeared to be of Hispanic descent and asked about a specific dish "he" was bringing to a table, and he had no idea. Can't have staff not know what they're bringing to a table. Wish them well, and hope they succeed, but some improvements needed.

The food is quite good but not typical and not to original taste. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is neat, clean and stylish.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff is professional and enthusiastic, but a bit slow, maybe because it is crowded.

We enjoyed dining in this restaurant last month. Our beautiful waitress was very pleasant and kind, brightening our day. My friend is vegan so she was thrilled to be able to have a vegan option pho. Loved the lobster spring roll. My friend also enjoyed the tofu spring rolls. We were impressed with the artichokes; the best artichokes I have ever had. We liked every dish we ordered except for the sautéed eggplant appetizer. It was too sweet. Also, got treated to a taste of the crème brûlée, which was delicious. I wish I wasn't so full, definitely would have ordered it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We like the ambiance and the how the restaurant was decorated.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We will definitely go back.

We're big fans of the chicken curry, chicken and beef pho, lemongrass chicken, and pork. The Little V Rolls are a must-try, and the kids love the shrimp crackers. Don't forget the fish sauce--it's perfect on just about everything! We highly recommend this place to everyone! I can't wait for our next trip to Katy so we can go back!

I think I found my go-to spot for Vietnamese food. I haven't tried their Pho or Banh Mi's, but will do in future visits. I'm going to start off by saying their spring rolls, especially the Lobster spring rolls are some of the best I've had. I love the roasted shallots and mango. A different twist, also served with peanut sauce and fish sauce. From a service standpoint it's pretty awesome they provide chilled glass for their beers. The Spicy Lemongrass chicken was tasty as well. Really did a nice kick to it. I must say the absolute home run on the menu is the Curry Beef Vermicelli bowl. The curry was perfect and the accompanying veggies and toppings made this a perfect dish. The staff even gave us a crème buréele on a spoon as a complimentary way to end our dinner. I cannot wait to come back.

I really love this restaurant. Every dish is meticulously prepared, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the ambiance is beautifully arranged.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] A perfect 10 for quality.

Their spring rolls are so good. They all have the fried crispy roll inside them. We usually get the tofu and pork.

We ordered the Combo Pho, and it was absolutely delicious. The broth was rich, flavorful, and tasted like it had been simmering for hours. It had that authentic homemade flavor that's hard to find. The portion was generous, with plenty of tender beef, meatballs, and noodles, and all the fresh herbs, bean sprouts, lime, and jalapeños made it even better. Every bite was comforting and satisfying. We also tried the egg rolls, and they were perfectly crispy on the outside while staying juicy and flavorful on the inside. They paired perfectly with the dipping sauce and made a great appetizer before the pho arrived. To complete the meal, we ordered their tea drinks, and they did not disappoint! They were refreshing, perfectly balanced in sweetness, and a great complement to the warm bowl of pho. Whether you're craving a classic milk tea or a fruity tea, they have something for everyone. The restaurant itself was clean, comfortable, and had a relaxed atmosphere that's perfect for family dinners, lunch with friends, or even a quick solo meal. The quality of the food, generous portions, fair prices, and excellent service make this place stand out. If you're looking for authentic Vietnamese comfort food, Pho Dien is definitely worth a visit. We'll absolutely be coming back to try more of their menu. Highly recommend the Combo Pho, crispy egg rolls, and one of their refreshing tea drinks!

After fasting for 36 hours, Yummy Quan was our first stop -- and at that point, we would've eaten…read morealmost anything... but luckily, we didn't have to settle. This place delivered where it mattered most, especially with the highly reviewed appetizers. Probably one of my favorite drinks here was the Thai Green Tea. It has a really interesting flavor that stands out from regular Thai Tea -- more earthy, but not quite like matcha (we guessed there might be pandan in it). Just a heads up: it's definitely on the sweeter side. My partner and I actually let the ice melt a bit before continuing to drink it, which helped balance things out. I came back a second time and still loved it just as much. The dipping sauce felt like a truly authentic representation of Vietnamese cuisine. It was a lightly diluted fish sauce with spicy red pepper and plenty of garlic -- simple but really flavorful. I also appreciated that the table setup let you customize it to your taste. In my first experience here, we ordered the Bánh Xèo, Bánh Khọt, and Bánh Bột Chiên. I was hands down a huge fan of the ginormous Bánh Xèo -- crispy, flavorful, and just overall my favorite (though I'll admit I'm a little biased toward it already). Meanwhile, my boyfriend completely fell in love with the crunchy Bánh Khọt. That said, I did notice a slight graininess in the Bánh Khọt, which took away a few points for me. The Bánh Bột Chiên was solid and got a pass from us, but it wasn't our top pick -- mostly because we've had better versions elsewhere. Other worthy notes: the herbs were fresh and crisp, and the pickled vegetables were refreshing as well (though my boyfriend thought they could've been a bit more strongly pickled). Eating everything the traditional way -- wrapping it in lettuce with herbs -- made the whole experience even better. Honestly, I would come back just to order two Bánh Xèo. I actually came back a second time before posting this review, this time with my family. We ordered the Bắp Xào, Cơm Chiên Bò Lúc Lắc, and a simple rice dish. This visit was a bit different -- across the board, we all agreed the dishes leaned too salty this time around. I could also tell the staff was overwhelmed, with only two people handling both the front and the kitchen, so it was tough to get their attention at times. That said, the Bánh Xèo still held its ground. My parents were genuinely impressed by the size, and for me, it's still an absolute banger -- something I'd come back for again and again purely for flavor and value. The Bắp Xào really stood out to me in a nostalgic way. I loved the use of traditional Vietnamese corn, and the sautéed dried shrimp brought back memories of flavors from dishes I grew up eating, even if I couldn't quite pinpoint which one. While my mom thought it was too salty, I actually felt like it would pair perfectly with a bowl of plain white rice. I also tried some of my brother's Cơm Chiên Bò Lúc Lắc and found the beef to be tender and flavorful, though not particularly standout compared to other places. I've had very similar versions nearby, but it's still my brother's go-to -- though I suspect that might also be his way of loading up on protein. Overall, even with the inconsistency during the second visit, I still really enjoy Yummy Quan -- especially for the appetizers. It's a place I'd bring family and friends to try, and I'm still curious about more of the menu... but realistically, I could live life on Bánh Xèo alone. At the end, you also get to grab some guava candy, and for anyone who's never had these, don't forget to pick some up -- they're simply delectable!

Overall, good Vietnamese food. Certain dishes were a miss, but overall good food. Definitely Katy…read morepricing for the dishes though. I love getting banh khot, banh xeo, and banh bot chien for appetizers. Just tried the egg rolls and it was good too. My go to main would be bun dau mam tom. Other mains such as com chien bo luc lac and bun thit Nuong was ok. I did not like the bun rieu, was too sweet... probably because different region so rieu balls were different than I was used too also. Staff is friendly, food does take a little bit to come out so I always order my appetizers first right when sit down.

We've always loved the atmosphere and the flavors, and being on InKind only makes it even more worthwhile. We came around 8:10 PM, not realizing they closed at 8:45 PM. We felt really bad, but they were very accommodating and reassuring nonetheless. Nước Mía và Tắc ($7) - Very sweet and refreshing--one of my go-to places for this drink. It reminds me of Vietnam every time I have it. My mom said it still isn't quite as good as the fresh sugarcane juice back in Vietnam, but both my brother and I love it. It's probably about as close as we'll get with the importing. Bún Bò Huế - My mom and I both agreed that the broth wasn't as rich as we'd like, and I don't think it's their highlight dish. That said, it was still a delicious and filling meal. Served with the traditional red cabbage. Phở Đặc Biệt - Still one of my favorite pho places because of their light broth. I always feel like I get great value here for the amount of food they give you. The meat cuts were especially good today. Bánh Mì Bò Né - My brother's go-to order. I've had it multiple times and have always enjoyed it, but today was definitely soup-energy. Bún Thịt Nướng - I didn't have this one, but the person who ordered it said they enjoyed it! Overall, this place continues to be one of my family's reliable Vietnamese spots. The meat in both broth dishes was especially good this visit, and despite us coming so close to closing, they never made us feel rushed. We'll definitely keep coming back.

At first it was just us and one other table, but not long after, more people started coming in, probably for lunch as well. The restaurant is pretty large, with both tables and booths, plus a big table for large groups. This is what we ordered: Combo Rolls This comes as a sampler with five different types of spring rolls. Regular spring rolls, nem nuong rolls (fermented grilled pork), grilled chicken, grilled pork, and shrimp only. I really liked this idea because it lets you try everything without having to order each roll separately. My favorite was the nem nuong roll. Bun Bo Hue I do not eat pork blood or pork loaf, so I substituted them with more tendon and beef meatballs. Because of that, I cannot really comment on how the pork tasted. The broth was okay but a little lacking in flavor. After I asked for shrimp paste, it tasted much better. Bo Kho (Beef Stew) This is my husband favorite dish, so he always orders it whenever a place has it. He ordered the one come with bread as dipping. He did not really like this one. It was not bad, but not great either. The flavor was missing, and the broth was more watered down than how he prefers it. Still, it is worth trying if you like beef stew. Overall, our experience was just okay. The service was fine, but the food did not leave a strong impression on us. We did not stay long since my husband had to get back to work. I would come back to try more dishes, especially pho. Since their name is Pho Guru, I feel like the pho might be better. Plus we dined in around Fall time in 2025 so I think the place would have so change with out last experience

I've been meaning to write a review for years! See my photos of the different meals I remembered to shoot. Anything you order, you can't go wrong! Everything here is consistently excellent. My go-to order is the Bún Thịt Nướng (B2) -- the grilled pork is perfectly seasoned and cooked, the noodles are light, and the vegetables are incredibly fresh. I also love the garden rolls with pork or shrimp. What really sets them apart are the sauces: tangy, balanced, and flavorful without being overly sweet. Their soups are also outstanding -- comforting, deeply flavored, and exactly what you want alongside a Vietnamese meal done right. The staff is genuinely friendly and welcoming, the prices are modest and fair, and the whole experience feels like a breath of fresh air compared to Los Angeles dining. We came for lunch around 12 noon on a Saturday, I was expecting a packed house but it was dead. I started off with a Thai green tea. The drink had good tea flavor & it was refreshing with the right amount of sweetness. Then came the appetizers which I order their egg rolls and flight skewers. The egg rolls came out piping hot but very uninspiring. They didn't provide really any veggies for the egg rolls and the sauce was beyond simple. I'll say that it was my least favorite dish. Then I got to try their Skewers which was quite delicious. The chicken was seasoned nicely, I just wanted more char on it. The shrimp was a little overcooked and was the least flavored. The pork was packed with flavor and very lemongrass forward. My favorite was their beef, such high quality meat that is tendered and melt in your mouth. Felt like I was eating a filet mignon on a stick. For our mains I got the banh canh cua & my friend got their pho. The broth was delicious and had a strong crab flavor. They were also not stingy on the meats either. The noodles could've been more firm. My friend pho was fine, the broth needed more oomph. But the brisket and filet mignon was beyond tender. I'm grateful that they use high quality meat to make up for that broth. I mean it wasn't terrible just not that good. Overall, I'll definitely come back again. This is a good spot to dine for lunch or dinner.
