I was in this area for the weekend for a concert, and I was coming from right across the boarder in Canada, where this is all legal, so this was a surreal experience for me. It was neat, different, I liked it! I came with my fiancé and we had to check in with our ID's and were given a buzzer, which when it went off, we were then indicated to wait in line as the next person was taken in by one of the employees. Everything was behind closed doors, except the paraphernalia, bongs, etc which you could purchase out of the back room, We were taken into the backroom by one of the employees and there were several different employees at a separate section selling edibles, etc. The prices were really good too, even the with the Canadian exchange and the person helping us was so super helpful and made some really good recommendations. Again, this was a surreal experience for me, but I truly enjoyed it. I know that when I come visit again, there is a place I can come back to to pick something up for my weekend away. read more

I don't smoke weed, but since we were in Michigan we had to check it out . This was my first time in one of these places . We were greeted by a friendly bunch at the front desk that "checked " us in . You show Id , then are handed off to your "Bud tender". She was crazy looking ... today is October 1, and she had on a spider web outfit, black lip stick and some kinda ears .. rainbow hair ... I'm not sure if that's her everyday look or what but we were taken back . Then the voice . Her voice got on my nerves so bad , she needed to smoke some weed herself and take it down a peg . I will say she was VERY friendly though and knew the products .... Now I didn't smoke the weed but I hear it's good . Um ... if your into weed and spider webs I'd give it a try . You will be rushed in and pulled out and overwhelmed by the experience ... but also ready to go at the same time . read more

Previously a 4-5 star joint (pun intended). You blew it when you changed you check-in process recently. You used to get a buzzer and wait comfortably for a budtender to come for you. Now you are seated briefly and then sent back to stand and wait for a budtender to be ready for you. Product & selection are fine. Prices are ok. Deals are decent. The personal touch was the only thing keeping me from going to the 10 other dispensaries within 15 minutes where they couldn'tcare less about you. Don't blow it, Liv! read more

Great bud tenders, very knowledgeable. Huge selection of glass, flower, and edibles...I never leave without just what I want, a bit more educated, and a desire to only shop at Liv. Many new shops have opened since Liv started by leading the pack, but they all, IMO, pale in comparison. Liv Rocks! read more

Usually has good deals. Unfortunately I asked for 4 eighths. When i got in the car i had 2. So i had to go back in, have to check in again, wait in line again. They supposedly gave me the deal i went in the 1st place to get, yet i paid twice as much for the same order i got a few days ago. They throw on a free pre-roll. Personally I felt rushed out and was unable to actually take my time and look to see what was available I was constantly asked if there was anything else I wanted before I could even look and the person who assisted me seemed very unfriendly and rude. I had a friend with me that it was her first time in and it was absolutely embarrassing to talk so highly of this place to get the exact opposite treatment. read more

The service of this place has really gone down hill and it shows. There is not a proper front desk person to check you in and greet you and its left up to the budtenders who should be educating customers instead. They have lessened the quality of their bags and have cut corners in staff which is really bringing this place down. They have shown they choose profit over quality and that will be the death of them! read more

There are locked doors that you can only be let into, after the check-in process. Tell them who you are and that you're a first timer. They'll need a form of ID so they can register that you visited. I don't believe it's an option to refuse. Once you get registered, you can go in and shop. Tell the person who comes to help you, that you're a newb (if you are) and they'll want to know a few things about what you're looking for. It helps if you do a little research before you go. I literally phoned a friend who has been going to dispensaries for a while. She explained the ins and outs about certain products and what they do before I went so I generally knew I didn't want to smoke anything and that gummies would be my chosen delivery mechanism. There are different types of processing they do, just like with food and drug processing that you should be aware. Solvents are used in some of the manufacturing processes, but you can get solvent free versions which is what I prefer. I found that the gummies are slightly softer and their flavor is much better in my opinion. I tried watermelon, cherry, and berry flavors (dark berry - looks blue) and the brand I decided to go with is solvent free. I mean, why put bad chemicals in your body when you're going with natural products like these? They cost a little more but in my opinion, they're worth it. I need to get back to the local store. This one is in Oxford. There's another that I went to for my first time over in Walled Lake. Both are excellent stores. The people at Oxford are very knowledgeable, friendly, and happy (go figure, lol!) They'll answer all your questions and they're very patient if they're not super crowded. If you're concerned about it being too crowded to get your questions asked and answered, call the store before you go to see how busy they are and tell them you're a newb and have lots of questions. They can give you an idea when is the best time and day of week to come visit. I'm heading over there soon, to replenish my stock. Hope to see you there!

I love the prices here, especially for the gummies. Liv always has really good deals on Wana and Dixie gummies and they have a red and medical side! I use the medical. Liv also always has a great selection for flower. I've noticed that other dispensaries don't have as many flower options as the Liv locations. I usually go to the one in Ferndale, but for 420 I went to this Lake Orion location, which is fairly new and closer to my house. I really like it the same as the one in Ferndale. I haven't liked the other dispensaries I've gone to half as much as this one, but how do you know what's the best if you don't shop around and I'm happy I did, because LIV IS THE PLACE FOR ME. also they have a good selection of accessories too. read more

There's an overflow of dispensaries in my area, I will choose LIV over all of them, I am a weekly visitor granted I am usually pretty early on weekends but I've never had a bad experience. Justin & Jacob are always my go to budtenders. Saturday mornings Jacob always has a smile & is upbeat, we could talk forever. He is super knowledgeable on selections they have & will always go above and beyond to make sure I not only get great quality but the best bang for my buck! The front desk is always so welcoming, the budtenders are always so knowledgeable and friendly and extremely non judgmental. Pretty much what I have expected since the first time I went there. But I have to comment about my last visit and purchase, regarding how I paid. When I was ready to pay, I asked the salesperson who helped me if I could pay by tapping my phone on the terminal (I know how that question may sound to some, but I still ask anyways), and was told that yes, I could. When I did, the next screen that popped up asked if it was a debit or credit card, and the salesperson said I should use credit (the card I was using is a debit card, but whatever...). The purchase was being processed while I noticed a slight difference in what I thought was the total price and what I saw that I was paying. I didn't think about too much at that moment, figuring I'd look at the receipt later to see what the difference was. When I did check the receipt, I noticed an unexpected charge included into the bill, called a "LeisurePay Fee (Credit)" of $5.16. While I realise that 5 bucks as a fee is probably trivial to most people, what pisses me off about it is this: If by using a credit method of payment also includes a fee, then I should have been told about that before finalizing the payment, and then I could have maybe paid differently, and not feel like I was hustled into paying credit to incur that fee. The result of this is that I blame myself for not being a bit more aware of what was occurring at the time, and that now I won't go to PUFF Utica again. Thanks for the overall experience.

The employees are knowledgeable, very friendly and ready to help you any way possible. There is no better feeling than being unsure of what I want and being able to describe to my budtender whatever it is I'm looking for on that specific day and having the confidence in knowing that whatever is selected for me is going to be top tier and tailored for my personal needs! The store hours are great (10 to 10) 7 days a week so no matter how busy my daily schedule is I know I can go there and they will be ready to satisfy my needs. Last but not least Xplore has without a doubt the best prices around! It's not even a debate! Deals on top of deals on top of deals. I promise no matter where you are traveling from it's worth the drive! When I buy my products here I don't feel like I'm buying from a Buisness. I feel like I'm buying from a friend, a friend that doesn't want to overcharge you or get one over on you. A friend that wants to look out and shares a common interest, the love of being in a higher state of mind! That alone is priceless. Then there was two people helping ONE person, that's unnecessary, and same third person that was just wondering around going back and forth between people that were helping the original two. Kept disappearing to the back. You guys need to figure out a way for pick up orders and learn to move people along quicker when you have 5+ ppl waiting in your lobby, and who knows maybe they were also pick up orders that could've just walked in and out. A total waiting time of 48 minutes For two original people and the line never moving. Straight up ridiculous.
