As of 02/28/2015 Dr. Nathan Darwin Hale MD is no longer practicing for his West Park Clinic after 40+ years. Per his letter and notice to his patients his illness (unknown) has forced him to retire. At his request all medical records are located at Arlington Internal Medical Group, #817-417-9334 or 817-417-9339 (Fax Request). Referral doctors, David Lee, Colleen Sam MD's and MaryAnn Efesoa NP. It totally saddens me to have heard and read of Dr. Hale leaving practice. Having worked for 9 major doctors in a Arlington clinic and choosing him as me and my son doctor for over 25 years its like having a family member go away and never coming back. He was such a warm and caring doctor. My last visit in Oct. 2014 I joking teased him about not aging and needed him to stay around for the final rights of passing for me. *Lol* I'm gonna miss him, Karen, Margaret, Carmen and even though I only saw Dr. Cherry once or twice the whole staff will be remembered as my #LifeStyle Fam.... *Tears*

I have been going to Dr. Gaydos for about 5 years now after a friend highly recommended her to me…read more I was nervous that I would not find a doctor that listened and actually would take time to talk to me but my worries vanished after the first visit. She is friendly, kind, humorous and very knowledgeable. Her office staff is welcoming and more helpful than any other I have been to. If I could rate a "10" I would but unfortunately this only allows 5. Another thing I want to mention. I had a family emergency in another state and called Dr. Gaydos office to leave a message. It was in the evening and I expected to hear back the next day but she actually called me herself and listened while I cried through my explanation of the event. She was able to help me immediately and I will never forget that as long as I live. Excellent care and wonderful human being.

I saw some of the poor ratings for Dr Gaydos and felt a need to offer my feedback. I have seen Dr…read moreGaydos for several years. After moving to Arlington she was the 4th doctor that I tried before I became a regular patient of hers. What I like about Dr Gaydos is that she is very thorough, caring and tells it like it is. She does not over prescribe medications and then not monitor you afterwards. I had a really bad reaction from medicine prescribed by a previous doctor and ended up having to self-diagnose the problem to finally correct the situation. It was at that point that I switch to Dr Gaydos. Since then, I have had several sports injuries and other situations that have to be monitored. Dr Gaydos is always familiar and knowledgeable with the situations that I have. I feel that I am in good care with Dr Gaydos. And, that is what is most important to me. I have never felt rushed during an office visit and I tend to ask a lot of questions. I highly recommend Dr Gaydos if you want an honest opinion from a knowledgeable doctor who is caring and treats you like an educated adult. She won't treat you like a child going to a pediatrician. So, if that is what you are looking for, look elsewhere in my opinion.

I have to give you all a back story before I get into my review:…read more When I lived in Arlington, I came here for regular check ups and such. Until one morning my leg was hurting really bad. I went in for a morning appointment the next day and Dr. Hale told me it is odd that a 25 year old man would have this but he said I had a blood clot. I just got back from Europe and on top of that I just started a new job were I had to drive an hour one way. He said a lot of non-movement can do this but it is rare in young adults. He told me to go to the ER right away. I went practically next door to the ER of the Arlington Memorial (I think) and once I got in the doctor told me that if I would have waited 1 more day, I wouldn't have woken up. I could have been dead. I owe Dr. Hale for telling me to go to the ER at that moment. They were able to have me stay in the hospital for a few days all medicated up and I left a few days later. Now that was 5 years ago. I went back yesterday, because I had a bad pain in my back for picking up my son off the floor. He remembered me from what happened before and he told me that they can run a new test on my blood that can detect if a blood clot can happen again as far as history and what-not. Most doctors probably would not have even mentioned it. Anyway he gave me pain medication for my back and asked me to call him is I don't feel better in a week or so. I forgot to tell you that I live in Valley Ranch, which means I had to drive an hour there and an hour back because of all the accidents on the highway. But, for a doctor to not only save my life ( to a certain extent) but to give me info on another blood test that can help predict if this would happen again is amazing. Its a really small office and the people that work there are super nice. I would like to thank all of them for the continued amazing service. I will be back if any ting else comes up. He is worth the trip even if you don't live in the area. MZ

However, after the COVID-19 pandemic, I noticed a significant change in my experience. I increasingly felt like I was just another number rather than a person receiving individualized care. Over time, I found many of our interactions to be lacking warmth and compassion. At times, her communication came across as borderline rude, and I perceived an attitude that felt dismissive and superior rather than caring and respectful. I tolerated these experiences for quite some time because I valued the continuity of my medical care. Unfortunately, I have reached a point where I can no longer ignore how these interactions make me feel. A strong patient-provider relationship should include professionalism, empathy, and human connection. In my experience, those qualities have been missing. In addition, I felt that I was charged for various services in a way that was not always clear or expected. For example, if I scheduled an annual physical, I sometimes had to dispute the visit in order to receive the required preventive care, and then make another appointment to address additional concerns. I was also charged for services I understood to be covered by my insurance. As a result, I either paid for vaccines or received them elsewhere. I am deeply disappointed because I believe every patient deserves to be treated with dignity, kindness, and respect. While I appreciate the medical care I have received over the years, the lack of compassion and meaningful human connection has led me to question whether this practice is still the right fit for me.
