I enjoyed stopping by 7 mile house recently and it was just as awesome as I remember it when I came to happy hour after many work days 23 years ago! This place has a vibe that you need to experience to understand. It has so much history but also has a new feel. Filipino food is on point and drinks are the right amount of strong. The adobo is so tender and flavorful- I could have eaten the whole thing on my own. I wish i lived closer but I will not let distance be a barrier. This is a great spot to enjoy sports, good food, nice vibes, and friendly peeps!

I came here last Friday to try some of their highly praised Filipino dishes. This place is located off the road in Brisbane within this industrial type area. It looks random at first but at the same time, very unique. It reminds me of a dive bar for truck drivers from the outside and heading inside, it also gives you that feeling. It's a pretty small restaurant sports bar with majority of the seating being outside. I ordered their Sisig Manila Style, Sizzling Pork Adobo with rice, Lumpia Sampler, Calamari, and Ube Cheesecake for dessert. The Sisig is our favorite pick because it's fatty with that nice sizzling taste and texture. It's bold with a good flavor and pairs nicely with the runny egg. This dish is a must. The adobo was just ok. Honestly, it wasn't my type of adobo and was too watery, thin, and slightly bland. It just tasted like watered down soy sauce and light vinegar over shredded pork meat. The calamari was a big portion and went great with the garlic aioli sauce. I also didn't like the lumpia's. The lumpia was soggy and way too bland with little filling. It didn't have that authentic taste to them which was a bummer. I'd avoid this sampler. We thoroughly enjoyed their Ube cheesecake though! It was sweet, tasty, and had a nice cream cheese texture. The makapuno coconut shreds paired great with the cheesecake and made it so unique. We'd definitely order this again. Overall, I thought it was just ok. I listened to the hype and yes, it was too much. For those that aren't Filipinos or didn't grow up having authentic homemade Filipino food, you could tell the difference. It's almost as if the dishes are "Americanized" and lacks the real ingredients in the dishes. Truthfully, I wouldn't come back but hey, there's a lane for everyone and I know this place is beloved by many. That's important.

Pretty solid Filipino-American sports bar near the Cow Palace venue. We went around 5pm for dinner right before the event and it was a very lively atmosphere - both the Knicks championship game and FIFA World Cup were playing in alternating TV screens so it was crazy. We got the espresso martini flight, beef and chicken lumpia, and sizzling pork adobo. The espresso martini flight was pretty good - I never would've thought to try different variations like ube churro, salted peanut butter, and banana pandan - a small deviation from the classic, but it boasts wonderful fusion flavors. The lumpia was good but they mixed it so it's a gamble if you got chicken or pork, and I wish they separated it out so we all get an equal share of each. The sizzling pork adobo is good but could be better. The rice is a bit overcooked. Service is very slow - it's fine given all the sports playing, but it is quite inefficient. Definitely plan a lot of time here, and a very long waitlist if you don't make a reservation.

My mom has the shrimp scampi which was Devine! The lychee mojito was amazing! I got the chicken pest sandwich! The vhrickdn was nice and grilled on the outside while still being very moist on the inside! Waiter was phenomenal. Great happy hour from 3-6 everyday which includes $7 cocktails, draft beer and wine, shots snd appetizers. 10/10 recommend.

Was heading up to Mt Tam and wanted to grab an early dinner. I stumbled across this place from an Instagram reel. This place really takes you back in time. I decided to order the adobo plate and it was happy hour so had to order some garlic fries and also red horse beer which is Filipino beer. We also had the sisig lettuce wrap and man the sisig was good too. Ordered adobo pork and The adobo comes out and is so tender and juicy. I squeezed the lemon on it to enhance the flavor and wow. We also ordered dessert, I got the tres leches and my fiance got the ube cheese cake. Man.... These desserts will blow your mind. DO NOT SKIP DESSERTS! Our server was split between two gentleman. Both made sure we were always taken care of and very friendly. Would definitely be back!

This review is for the management team. I gave a not so nice review for service & food, and the response was engaging and enlightening. No one came off angry or rude. I was invited to come back & try the sandwich again, which I will do. All in all, we should ALWAYS be fair in our reviewing. When establishments take the the time to respond, then I believe, it should be noted. I have actually been back twice, because I really love this place

Have you been here yet?? A nice variety of food. Kind a hole in the wall but the food is super yummy. I love Ube and if you love ube, you need to go. I ordered the ube waffle and fried chicken. Really good. The ube wasn't too sweet. I also had an espresso martini which was very weak and wasn't worth the money. My friends always get the adobo and love it. Will I go back? Yes!

The last mile house that is only in Brisbane, still close to Cow Palace, never far off. The last mile house that last for over 168 years is an amazing sight, with many stories of old to tell, along with survival stories like COVID that 7 Mile House stronger and better than ever. Used to serve anything that's both American and Italian, until Vanessa had made it into a family run small business restaurant which was absolutely welcoming for both locals and tourists alike since 2004. It's the only reason I come to 7 Mile House during Asian History Month that aims for Filipino fun. My specialty drink: Ube Colada (non-alcoholic). I want to try the Lambanóg, but it's few years late and I wouldn't mind since I prefer any drink that's zero proof. This creamy purple smoothie is so refreshing, I wouldn't mind getting a brain freeze. Main course? Actually, I take something out of the lunch menu, which is Beyond Burger; pickles at the top, lettuce, tomato, and cheese; old school American style with a plant based patty! I eat the fries first since they're fresh and chewy. Wish I stick around for an appetizer or a salad; but given that there's several people dining indoors while few of us outdoors, I'll have to pass. Before I walk a couple of blocks toward 7 Mile House, I noticed the gas prices for both gas stations are just as high as near my neighborhood. I'll be wondering how long will a famous family run restaurant can go an extra mile before it runs out of steam. My best bet is that we must support each other as local communities, just like how the 7 Mile House of today had kept us together for generations.

To go order! Had the adobo and it wasn't as vinegary as I expected. But the flavors were nice and very filling. Thank you for the thoughtful packing. The chicken pesto sandwich was dry with little pesto... so stick to the Filipino plates :) Friendly service; Street parking Thanks!

We tried a variety of items from 7Mile House! The lumpia was hot and fresh and so delicious! The fried zucchini sticks were also a star and the Ube tres leche as well as the boba drink. We ordered some other entrees that were ehhh, but over all this place is a vibe. A staple to locals right at the edge of the city and a great place to watch the game. Service is attentive and friendly.

My Uber driver was a fellow bay native, and recommended this spot for good lumpia. What I didn't realize was how amazing it was going to be with drinks, desserts, appetizer, vibe, and everything else. Little corner spot off the road with decent parking down the street. The inside has a dive bar feel, with two outside patio areas, one was striped and simple and the other area has glitter reefs, a TV, and a little more upbeat. We sat there and took a corner table on a day where the weather was perfect and it was a vibeee. This spot has alot of bay history which you can feel, and we loved that. I highly recommend outside time when weather permits. We ordered lumpia sampler, ube martini, ube colada, lychee martini, ube coffee, lumpia sampler, adobo, beef salpacio, fish tacos, ube cheesecake, and funky monkey. Wow. We went in. Alllll of it was incredible, minus the fish tacos. Those were in tostada cups with melted yellow cheese and could def be better from the tortillas To the fish marinade to the toppings...However, the rest of the menu was nothing short of incredible, we left nothing behind. Only other feedback was they were out of quite a few things, only made certain things later on in the day like the brazilian soup, and it was 12pm. We were all ecstatic for the ube tres leches and were sad we didn't get to try. Ill come back and try again soon nonetheless! Had a great time.

Finally got to check out this place! Definitely worth the try. Place has plenty of seats inside and outside. Parking is closeby and isn't too bad. Oysters were fresh, nice with the sauce pairing. Ube boba was tasty, not too sweet and had popping boba! Ube cheesecake is made by the owners mom, which we enjoyed! Not too sweet. Got the grilled mushrooms which were so flavorful and juicy, but a little salty after a while. Sizzling adobo was sooo tender and flavorful. Deep fried pork chops were delicious, reminded us of katsu style. Brazilian fish chowder was flavorful and loved that it came hot in temperature, just didn't expect it to taste more like Thai curry. The lumpia sampler was a hit, loved the delicious variety. Service is 10/10! Host and server were kind and attentive. Had the honor to meet the owner, Vanessa, and her niece for Easter Sunday today! Played a fun mysterious egg activity! Vanessa was so kind, friendly, bubbly, and positive!

I think there's even a karaoke night, to boot. though I still miss the Last Stop, Recovery Room has nicely filled in its absence and continues to be one of my favorite bars in this part (Excelsior District) of town.

I noticed them on DoorDash and placed an order for delivery. They have a creative menu and sassy burger names. I ordered the 10 Hunnids, an American inspired smash burger with fries and the 6 piece Lumpia. I made an absolute mess eating the burger dripping 10 Hunnids sauce (thousand island dressing) and juices down my hands. It was delicious! The quality and taste, and being a super juicy burger, I really enjoyed. I loved the toasted bun, too. Fries are cooked well and fresh. I loved the 6 piece Lumpia, really well made and delicious. They have wings, loaded fries, tots and homemade sauces. They open before the bar. From the photos of other Yelpers, looks very cozy inside. The food arrived fast and was packaged thoughtfully. Very convenient considering how challenging parking can be in SF. Definitely visit or DoorDash when you have a burger craving. They've got great food! I will return to try one of their other burgers and more lumpia.

This is such a gem in South City -- it's the perfect meet up spot for lunch, happy hour, or dinner…read more Recently had lunch here and the food, service, and ambiance were all lit. Let's start with the service. Our server was incredibly attentive from the moment we walked in. We were handed menus and then asked if we preferred still or sparkling waters - we opted for the latter. Next, he politely made some recommendations to the more popular items on the lunch menu. We went with his suggestions and he did not disappoint! For two people, we shared the following two items: * MEZZE PLATTER - hummus, babaghanouge, falafel, tabbouleh, and pita ($19) * BEET SALAD - roasted heirloom beets, carrots, goat cheese, honey thyme vinaigrette ($18) For our entrees, we had the following: * BEEF SHAWARMA WRAP - lettuce, sumac onion, pickles, tahini sauce, mixed greens ($19) * ROASTED SALMON - pacific salmon, turmeric rice, grilled broccolini ($29) Food was absolutely incredible. Fresh ingredients, simple preparation, Mediterranean fusion, and assembled thoughtfully without compromising nutrition. I am a fan. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with an inviting style for large groups, intimate fireside chats, or bar seating. They even have a pretty neat happy hour menu that I hope to check out one day. All in all, this is a top fav in South City. Looking forward to a future dining experience here!

Our work group comes here for events often, so I've tried a lot of dishes here. The mezze platter is delicious, the falafel is okay, but everything else on the mezze platter such as the babaghanouge, tabbouleh, hummus, and pita are 5/5 stars. Other wins are the prawn pasta and the branzino. One of my favorite restaurants in downtown SSF.

The interior was a bit dark and intimate, although interestingly, my photo makes it appear much brighter than it actually was. *** O U R P I C K S *** PRIME RIB FRENCH DIP SANDWICH ~ I chose this sandwich since I just wanted a small bite to eat. The French dip was tasty, but because the meat was cooked medium rare, it was a bit chewy in places, so a knife definitely came in handy. I only ate half and was satisfied. The sourdough bread had a nice chew, although I usually prefer my rolls toasted. As a leftover sandwich, though, I'm glad it wasn't toasted, it would have made the bread too hard. 4/5 STEAK SANDWICH ~ My partner decided to try the steak sandwich. He said it was just okay and felt he should have gotten the prime rib French dip instead. The steak was cooked medium rare as requested, but it was pretty bland and could have used more seasoning. It came with tomatoes, lettuce, and onions to dress it up. He also opted for the garlic fries instead of regular fries. The fries were tasty with the added garlic garnish, although they could have been crispier. 3/5 HOT LINKS SANDWICH ~ Our friend ordered this one. I guess it was okay, but honestly, it's not something that takes much culinary skill if the hot links are store-bought. That's my assumption, anyway, since I don't think the links were made in-house. 3.5/5 HOUSE SALAD ~ As I recall, the salad was a spring mix with cabbage, garbanzo beans, kidney beans, and red onions. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a photo. It was a pretty typical salad and nothing particularly special. 3/5 We all chose sandwiches even though it was dinner time. Since two of us wanted a salad instead of fries, the server or chef decided to give us one large bowl of salad to share. We appreciated the gesture, although we felt we should have received separate portions. I was told by our friend that the prime rib entrée is a popular choice among those who frequent this spot. IMO, the food is about 3.5 stars overall.
