Live Free and Dine is one of those places that instantly feels special. Even though it's a takeout spot, walking up felt like stepping into a mini California farmer's market meets outdoor art fair: relaxed, creative, and full of good energy. They specialize in *everything sourdough*, and it shows. The pizza was so delicious. I ordered the Hawaiian and my husband built his own with white sauce with greens and Italian sausage. Both were so flavorful, perfectly balanced, and baked to that ideal sourdough crisp-chewy combo. Every bite tasted fresh and thoughtfully made. But here's the real win: it was actually good for my gut. I usually feel heavy or uncomfortable after pizza, but not this time. Their sourdough truly makes a difference: I left satisfied instead of sluggish, which feels like a miracle. We also found out the owner, Karen, used to be a chef in Irvine, CA, and honestly... it makes sense. There's a clear SoCal flair in the ingredients and overall vibe, and I'm so glad she brought that creativity and quality to my hometown. So glad I got to stop by this place. Some of, if not THE, best pizza in Nashua. We ordered 2 pizzas (sourdough crust. Amazing) for pickup. Arrived and pizza's were ready to go. We tried the sausage and white truffle pizza and the load moosilauke and both were cooked to perfection. The bottom color was golden brown and the top was slightly charred as a Neapolitan style pizza should be. live free & dine is our goto pizza place from now on. read more

Let's get this place on the map! Karen is a first class chef, serving in well known places in San Diego. She's branched off and really created something special. A farm to fork experience. We were able to customize our sourdough pizza, about 14" in size, and let's just say between my wife and her parents (4 people) the pizza was so good, we should have gotten a third. (Some devoured 4 slices). Even after the meal, we didn't feel heavy or bloated, which is a miracle for lactose intolerant people, but fresh ingredients can overcome such things. The store it self is like a farmers market in a hole in the wall store. Highly recommend! read more

Got pizza here on the last night of a winter vacation visit, the pizzas were excellent. Not as thin as neapolitan; but importantly the sourdough crust while thicker was firm but not difficult to chew. The edge has pockets of air and gets crispy and bubbly in places. The sauce and cheese are added in good ratios- only had red sauces on our selections: the Margherita, the POM (peppers, onions, mushrooms), and the chicken parm pizzas. Red sauce was delicious. One thing that was nice is that while these feel like neapolitan style, the thicker pie meant they hadn't gotten cold by the time i got them home. This will be my go-to for pizza whenever i'm in town. read more

Got takeout. The sourdough crust was very tough. It was hard to cut through (it wasn't cut well at the restaurant) and eat. It was very light on the sauce and cheese, and it gave me heartburn. No complaints otherwise - the chef seemed very nice, the order was correct, and it was ready when I arrived. It's great to support local businesses, and lots of people seem to feel differently, but to me the food was very disappointing. read more

Tried this place on Superbowl Sunday - so probably not the best time to place a first time order . Ordered a pizza and and an order of chicken wings . The pizza - I was expecting / hoping to find a place in Nashua area that truly made a NY / Boston North End / New Haven pizza - something just a little better then what's normal in this geographical area - NO such luck - must same old, same old . However , the chicken wings were outstanding - nice size wings and prepared VERY well ! I'm certainly not a foodie , but I do know what a "good" pizza looks / tastes like and the same with wings . Tasted like it was homemade out of your kitchen.. of course I'm comparing this to Maeve's kitchen and Joni's pizza in Chelmsford who are probably the best pizza around. This is one of the best pizza spots I've ever been to and I'm from NYC. We got the presidential pizza and wow the bbq sauce was amazing! The chef was really nice and you can tell she really enjoys her craft and takes it very seriously. It seems a lot of the ingredients are sourced from local farms which makes everything have such a high quality taste. My husband and I definitely plan on coming here often not just for the pizza but the ice cream too! read more

I stopped by Live Free & Dine recently over the weekend. They took over the former Jenn's Pizza space. This food shop and catering business features an open kitchen where food is prepared from scratch. They offer a variety of homemade grab & go foods (in the cooler) including entrees, steakburgers, calzones, noodle bowls, salads, soups, sauces, desserts, and fresh baked goods. They offer plenty of gluten free and vegan options. They sell bread loaves from Woodman's and lettuce from Oasis Farms, both in Nashua and plant based bread (Sysco SImply) too. The pricing is a bit on the higher side. While here, I browsed for a few minutes and I picked up some homemade pasta sauces from the cooler including the Bedrock Bolognese and Last Lift Vodka Cream Gravy sauces ($8 each), a Quiche Lorraine ($15), and an applesauce spice muffin (GF/V) ($3). The owner rang up my purchase, which came out to $37 and charged $3 more than I thought. I was rung up for the gluten free quiche ($18) inadvertently instead of the regular quiche ($15) and I was able to pick out a large chocolate chip cookie to make up the difference. I enjoyed the baked goods quickly which were both very good with my large black coffee. I reheated the Quiche Lorraine (4 slices) in the toaster oven for brunch the next day, which had a mix of eggs, Swiss cheese, ham, half & half, onions, white pepper & sea salt in a flaky pie crust. I also made spaghetti and enjoyed the vodka and bolognese sauces, which were both really great with nice flavors. I will definitely have to try the Italian Sausage Mushroom Gravy and the cheesecakes next time! read more

This place was soooo good. Me and my husband stopped by and we absolutely loved it. Not only was the food fresh it just tasted great. We got the bbq chicken pizza.
