My honey used to go to this place 25 years ago. He kept talking about their potato soup. We decided to drive there. We didn't have a problem with parking as the meter didn't work lol. When you walk in, you definitely feel like you are in a pub in Ireland. The bartender, Danny (boy) was working the bar and running good. He was awesome to talk to. We did get that potato soup which was absolutely delicious!!! My honey had a few Irish Ales and I had a few Blue Moons. We decided to get the caramel Toffee pudding for desert. Holy moldy! Who knew that such deliciousness was in this Irish Pub. Definitely going back for all! You have to try it.

An Irish pub is always fun. The Peddler's Daughter is no exception and one of the best places to get a bite to eat in downtown Nashua. My favorite is the Fish & Chips. The homemade ketchup is a fantastic condiment for awesome fries! Once you are inside the restaurant it feels like Ireland. The decor is very cool. There are some cozy corners that will make your visit just a bit more special with that Irish touch added. Slainte!

Good service and food!! The fish is so fresh and delicious. Great service, even got a visit from the manager. Ketchup - homemade. Tartar sauce - homemade. Omg a must try! Soooo good!

We went there for trivia. The place was actually bigger than I thought it was. The building looks small from the outside, but I drove all the way there to eat and be with family. I ordered a side of broccoli with cheese and they did it was awesome. They had a really big bar which I liked, but I did not sit at it. I sat with the family playing trivia the woman playing trivia or hosting. I should say was pretty . Her intermission music was on point all. It was a good bar.

Never crossed my mind to visit the Peddler's daughter for brunch until word of mouth inspired me. This trendy Irish pub has been a Nashua staple for years, and is located in the historic downtown. Started off with Irish iced coffees, which were the perfect blend of booze and caffeine needed to start the day. Brunch menu was stacked and had quite a few gluten-free choices. My party ordered the corned beef and Irish nachos. I went with eggs and home fried potatoes because I filled up on iced coffee. It was that delicious. Everyone left feeling satisfied with our meals, drinks, and overall chill experience. Good to know this place is great for breakfast and late night drinks!

Is this a bar, so no kids or are kids allowed?

We are a restaurant and a bar. Once we stop serving food, at 10pm, we become 21+. Kids are more than welcome before then and we have a kids menu.

You insouciantly scroll through your Yelp feed, not particularly sure what you have an appetite for because making decisions is about as difficult as adulting. This, ladies and gentlemen, is my wife to a T. Although, she highlighted this place to me and I was instantly hooked - so, I can't complain too much. Now, it isn't clear to us how long this place has been in our midst. But judging from the lack of photos, I'm willing to bet that it's either not yet well known enough or it's a fairly new place. In any case, O'Brien's Sports Bar deserves far more recognition than it's getting at the time of me reviewing this. I've been to plenty of Irish pubs. Some good, some rather meh. I've only tried one meal so far. But based on that, plus the copious menu selection, I can already tell you O'Brien's is possibly the best Irish pub I've tried food from in a long while. I was quite disappointed when they permanently closed down Waxy O'Connor's in Lexington. But I believe O'Brien's will be a more than suitable replacement to satisfy my yearning for Irish cuisine. So, as the intro infers, we ordered take-away via DoorDash, of all things. Which implores me to bring up this caveat: there's a vast difference between ordering from DoorDash versus what's actually available on the O'Brien's menu via their website. Basically, DoorDash represents a severely gutted version of their menu, in my opinion. Certain items, you just can't order from DoorDash...for SOME reason. A few examples include: the seafood chowder, chicken marsala, and pretty much any burger that's more complex than your traditional cheese burger. Not really a ding against the restaurant itself. I'm just ranting here to state that I really hate DoorDash sometimes. They're as overpriced as they are underequipped. /endrant Anywho, I kept things simple this evening and tried the fish n' chips. Upfront, I gotta tell ya....they give you a shitload of fish! Like...at least 10 to 12 ounces (or 6 huge nuggets), if I had to guess. And whilst the fish itself was delicious and meaty, the batter could have benefited from some type of seasoning. Let's just say...this is the type of fish that requires tartar sauce. Oh, speaking of which.. I didn't get any tartar sauce with my order. No idea why. But it's a good thing we always keep some at the house (and it's the fancy kind, too). Now, their chips are like nothing I've ever seen. The best way I could describe them is....well seasoned boomerang fries. Hey, I don't care WHAT shape they are, so long as they're tasty as hell! Overall, the dish gets an 8 out of 10, despite them forgetting the tartar sauce. We've already decided we'll dine in at this place apropos for a date night. I mean, based on our DoorDash experience, it seems clear to us this will be the only way to experience their complete menu. And I've already got my eyes on the aforementioned chowder, chicken marsala, and/or one of their delicious looking burgers. And then maybe, just MAYBE...we can get some more photos onto their page already. I have a feeling this rating may get adjusted upon revisit. But for now, I'm giving O'Brien's Sports Bar 4 gigantic fish nuggets with tasty boomerang fries out of 5.

We have both been talking about our meals since we left the restaurant, both meals were excellent, and the best we have ever had, not that their other meals aren't good, but these 2 plates were top notch. We also enjoyed the Arronchini Balls, would recommend them as an appetizer as well. We love O'Brien's Sports Bar, it is one of our favorite places in downtown Nashua!

Our waitress was very friendly and accounted for our need to leave in time to get our tickets and still have a relaxing dinner. We arrived at 5:45 and were able to leave about an hour later, in part because we chose menu items that were slightly easier to prepare. We had the Mushroom Swiss Burger, the Double Smash Burger, the Volcano Burger, and Bangers and Mash. All four dishes were great, and the chef followed the doneness orders to perfection. We all chose to drink a glass of Josh Cabernet (offered at $11/glass, not available by the bottle). Given the price of the glass, and the relatively low price of Josh, I was a bit disappointed in the size of the pour, which seemed minimal. However, the wine was good. Each burger was well described on the menu: the mushrooms were crispy and generous, the onion rings on the volcano were ample and delicious, the smash burger came with cole slaw at the diner's request, and the bangers and mash were very good. This is a traditional Irish Pub, and there was a lot that we did not choose (but will in another visit). The bar is quite noisy, and we were somewhat protected by some privacy barriers. On the whole, a great experience and enjoyable.

I got the salmon plate and it comes with this thick, garlic aïoli sauce, a side of broccoli, and fingerling potatoes. The fingerling potatoes are big and flavorful with the Parmesan. It was a little slow cause they're understaffed, but it was a very busy night so I can understand everything came out fresh hot and ready. I like that the broccoli didn't have much seasoning either. Also the clam chowders was tasty and they offer it in a cup or a bowl. The burger was juicy, the pickle spear was yummy, and the fries were well seasoned. I also love the turkey club sandwich. The bacon was nice and crispy and the bite of the sourdough bread was fluffy. I really do appreciate Brittney our server for being so nice and having a great attitude.
