Another fantastic breakfast at Suzie's! We love to stop in before getting our nails done and we have never been disappointed. They really have something for everyone and always have a variety of different specials every day. I am slowly making my way through their griddle menu and I love that there are multiple options with ice cream treats on them!

Went here with a group and we all enjoyed our food! I got the corned beef hash (REAL corned beef hash, none of that canned stuff). It was so good! Our server was very kind and answered all of our questions.

Tucked away on a quiet corner, this cozy little diner might be easy to miss--but once you've tasted the food, you'll never forget it. With its retro booths, handwritten chalkboard menus, and warm, welcoming staff, the diner feels like stepping into a comforting slice of Americana.

Early morning snowy Sunday breakfast before grocery shopping. We got a couple coffees, I got the breakfast burrito and the wife got a bacon, egg & cheese sandwich. Everything was great and priced perfectly. It was our first time going since we moved to Hudson but we will definitely be returning.

This diner kept popping up on my Yelp, so we finally tried it. The turnover is very quick. There was a line when we arrived, but within five minutes we were seated.. The food was excellent. The portions were plentiful. Pretty typical diner, but very clean and comfortable.

We went here for breakfast before heading on our weekend getaway and we're glad we did. It's a small diner but with lots of nice locals who many seem to be regulars and the servers knew them by name. Everybody was cheerful and nice. Good vibes, clean tables and prompt service. Food was made to order and brought out piping hot. Everything we had was delicious and portions were huge. Their homemade hash is s must try.

It professes to be 24/7, which I keep meaning to test. My server at the bar was Bee, and was consistently attentive and helpful as I sat for a while at the bar-like counter, keeping my coffee topped off. I sat for an unhurried while as I nibbled through my meal. Bacon & eggs was good. Eggs over easy, just as I asked. Bacon fully cooked but not rock hard crispy. I get the desire of places to fully cook but don't like it to snap. I want it bendy. This was great for me. I opted for grits, which I admit I don't have often and am not an expert at. She offered cheese on it, and I took cheddar. I don't know what's normal and what's not in grits, but the cheese just kind of sat there atop the grits and didn't mix well. The grits were also pretty watery and lacking in flavor, though adding salt helped a bit. Bread came buttered, but not very. I asked for extra butter, and Bee cheerfully brought a couple extra of those little plastic things. Again, fine service, but the butter in that was not soft and the toast wasn't hot enough to melt it, so it wasn't much help. Still hungry, I asked for a menu and got fries. Not breakfasty, but it was mid-afternoon. Fries came VERY quickly. Coffee continued to be refilled. Fries were plain, not seasoned, which is my personal preference. Bee had warned me while ordering, since I asked about seasoning, that they'd be dipped in some kind of batter. That's NOT my preference, but I had at least ordered them knowingly. Overall, for this day, I give the place high marks on service (thanks, Bee) and quite decent but not at all superlative marks on food.

First off, the staff are SO friendly here! The bar lady who was describing the specials to me seemed wicked eager about a few of them. I wondered if she had practiced that speech in front of a mirror every night before bed. Or perhaps she really does love those specials (even though I can't remember what they are at the moment). Next, we have the interior. Now....a brief background for the non-locals not familiar with the history of this location: In the not too distant past, this place used to be called "Donna's Place", which was subsequently shutdown for reasons unbeknownst to me. However, the general layout is similar to its predecessor; with the exception of the table rearrangements. They ostensibly retained the bar and even threw in a few add-ons to the overhead. Also, just a caveat when you first arrive: you have to use the side entrance instead of the one facing the street. Okay. We gotta talk about the coffee real quick. While the roast itself presents a nice bold flavor, I gotta tell ya....this coffee mug is HUUUUUGE!! I swear to you they bring out like, a bucket of coffee. Thing must be at least 16 ounces! I took a picture of it next to a standard size sugar container for comparison. Friggin' HUUUUUUGE! So far, my all time go-to breakfast is the build your own omelet with cheddar cheese, tomato, and onions with a side of homefries and toast. I've had this combo with and without ham, plus a side of bacon. But I was really curious about the infamous homemade hash. And so it was. I'm still the misfit who prefers canned hash over homemade. However, this one exceeded my expectations. Ordinarily, I'm forced to get used to the trend of homemade hash consisting of shoe-leathery brisket mixed with potatoes, all of which is typically bland. But not this hash. GP's hash is surprisingly well seasoned and tender! It's strange, but almost like a combination of canned and homemade. The corned beef is minced similarly like canned, only with a different texture. It's tricky to explain to folks unfamiliar with hash. All I'm saying is....definitely give this one a try. The omelets here are phenomenal! That's all there is to say, really. Sure, they could be seasoned up a bit (along with the potatoes). But this is the restaurant biz. Chefs have to play it safe when it comes to salt, after all. As many know, I'm always down for supporting my local hot spots. And this one will certainly remain a continual revisit for moi. Therefore, I'll give The Good Place 5 sensationally built omelets with all the fixins and a side of hash out of 5.

The toilet is not automated, which I expected in a brand new building, but that's on me I suppose. The gap in that handicap stall needs to be addressed: it's far too wide. Hand dryers only; saving a tree, and blowing around whatever is in the bathroom. It is shiny and new though, so that's nice. Our waiter kept a good eye on us. Brought over a bread basket after asking if we'd like some. Refilled our water. Asked if we would like refills on iced tea. Food was delivered by food runners all at once after a decent amount of wait time during a busy lunch time. I had the Greek salad with an addition of salmon. My family and I have been loyal customers for many many years, but since the move to include three visits, we have noticed some changes that affected the quality of our visits especially last Saturday. To begin, the onion soup we ordered was lukewarm at best, and the cheese had settled at the bottom, suggesting it had been sitting for some time. My wife's chicken parmesan sandwich was tough, chewy, and barely warm, making it inedible. The fries that came with it were cold as well. I had the Reuben sandwich, which was only average; the bread was not fresh and the meat was very dry / old and I could only manage to eat half of it before giving up. Our server was polite but seemed somewhat confused throughout our visit , and he brought us the wrong check, responding casually with "oh, that happens." and "I'll get the manager if you really want me to". We have accumulated many points through the loyalty program, but given this experience, it will be a while before we consider returning. I hope the quality and service at the new location improves over time.
