Between my house and renting out an apartment for many years, I've had my share of electrical jobs and have worked with many companies in the area...Heritage, Trombley, Cote. If you haven't given Granite State a try, I implore you to do so! Right from the get go you are talking to an actual person who helps set you up with an appointment (as opposed to the other guys where you're often leaving a VM and praying you get a call back). Then the team will call and go over some of the details and make sure everyone is aligned on what needs to get done. When they come out to do the job, it is top notch. They got everything installed very professionally with no mess. Good design sense - they selected a nice little 3 way switch to separately control the above and below cabinet lights without having to install a completely different box and take up more wall space - great idea, and gives us more flexibility with lighting! They even helped troubleshoot a dimmer switch in the living room that was giving me problems. Everyone I have worked with has been great. Definitely recommend them, and will be scheduling some additional jobs in the future.

We scheduled the install which was not in-expensive, and after a day the same problem persisted. They came back to look at the fridge again and then told me I need a condenser. We scheduled that service, and then after some additional due diligence they told me that I now actually need an entirely new circuit board. I subsequently had them install that, and after another day the same problem persisted. They then came again and told me I need a new seal and a part for the door. After about a week the same problem persisted. The owner was not willing to guarantee his work. He did keep sending them back to trouble-shoot the issues, however I did have to pay for the majority of the parts and labor with the exception of the last install. I spent just under $1,000 dollars and I still have a broken refrigerator. I would not recommend this company; they don't guarantee, and they rob their customers. Absolutely terrible!

Patrick convinced us to go with a Kohler generator versus a Generac or any other brands because of the efficiency and after doing some independent research, I did not disagree with his assessment. Unfortunately, we've had some issues with the unit over the years, and this company becomes less and less visible with each and every time that they are needed. I would say that Kohler is the brand to go with but find another authorized installer and service company that handles Kohler, which is not this company. They are a one tech company with owners who are completely removed from the day to day.

Prior to engaging them, I simply ignored generator maintenance, so for 5 years or so following installation no one changed the oil, checked the timing, tested the battery, or throughly serviced this expensive and essential amenity. It finally dawned on me that when I really need it to perform in an emergency it needs to work, and professional maintenance is essential. I reached out to Generator Power Solutions some years ago. I didn't know them nor was I sure of their reputation or their professionalism. I was lucky! They annually perform a nuts to bolts inspection, change oil & filter and make sure the machine is performing to specs and is ready to work properly whenever needed. Their office staff has always been pleasant, courteous, and professional and their techs have been top notch. Sue has serviced my machine for the past several years and has been great! She knows her stuff, takes her time and doesn't leave until she's satisfied that the generator is fully up to specs and ready to work if called upon. I couldn't be more pleased with this business! I wish all businesses were as dependable and competent as these folks, they have earned my unequivocal recommendation!

I received a call by the Owner of JD Power on March 26 , 2024 , following up with my request to speak with him on voice mail after listening to my message and reading my initial review . The owner was professional and stated he was not pleased with what had occurred to me and apologized for the whole situation . He then stated he wanted to make things right with me and what could he do to keep my business . I told him I am impressed he wanted to find a solution to make thigs right again and I said that after changing the battery in my Kohler Generator I was able to start it manually but lost the programing on the unit when I swapped out the battery. The owner then graciously offered to have a different technician then who I dealt with on the phone during the power outage and reprogrammed my Generator free of charge the next day . Needless to say I am going to now stay with JD Power Equipment for my generator maintenance and service . I believe the Owner is a man of his word and has made changes to insure Emergency Calls go to a Senior Manager who then will call and dispatch service technicians as received rather then have an on-call technician "cherry-pick" calls that are convenient for him . I can now say I would and will recommend JD Power Equipment to anyone needing a new generator or service on one .
