I love my lashes! While I was there, Ashley took one look at my eyebrows and permanent eyeliner and noticed they were uneven. She explained what was wrong with them and how she could correct them. The first place was a bad experience. The application was very painful, and I had to fill in my brows every morning just to make them look halfway decent before going to work. I wanted to get them fixed but was nervous about trusting someone else. Ashley scheduled me for the eyebrow correction the next day. I had no pain at all, and I couldn't believe the difference. My brows finally look the way they should have. I've already booked my eyeliner correction with her. My hair had also become a frizzy mess. Even after two Brazilian blowouts somewhere else, it was still hard to manage. After seeing what Ashley did with my brows, I knew I could trust her with my hair too. I have lived my entire life with an abnormal brow and had no choice but to fill it in daily with powder. I have longed for the day that I could wake up and my brows would just be there. Today was that day! I have been doing my research for quite some time but wanted/needed to find someone who had darker brows that had been done by someone local enough. After seeing a friend of mine get her brows done by RG, I KNEW that I was ready to take the leap into the world of microblading. From the get-go, RG was beyond responsive and eased any concerns that I had and was more than willing to work around my work schedule. When I walked into the room, I felt an immediate connection with the person who was about to change my life! She was pleasant and excited and I felt super comfortable! She was patient and had a steady hand while she drew up the first drawing of my potential brow. Not once did she change her tone while I requested "sharper here, straighter there, more curve here." (I almost felt a little guilty on how perfect I wanted them.) I knew I wanted them thick and I wanted them to be exactly how I have been drawing and shading them in for the 20+ years. Once we got to the place where the shape was perfect (and I mean PERFECT) then she applied the numbing cream. We chatted all the while the numbing cream set in. I couldn't help but smile as she began the process. I must admit that again, I felt guilty about not experiencing any pain during the actual session but everyone's pain tolerance is different. Side note: the sound isn't exactly the most pleasant and your imagination might begin to run wild, but fret not! (You are in great hands!) RG would ask me if I was experiencing any pain and would show me the progress. At no point did I feel that she was rushing as I knew the evening was progressing. The time had arrived for the big reveal! I couldn't stop staring!!! I wanted to cry, laugh, jump out of the chair and hug her (all at the same time!) She began to talk to me about all of the post after care procedures, I know I was listening but couldn't stop staring at the mirror ;) She gave me the opportunity to stand up, take a closer look and she'd be happy to make any adjustments and she did! I hugged her once more and practically skipped out of the building. As a working mom of 3 who's time is already stretched thin, I felt that it was a worthwhile investment, not only in myself but to have those extra minutes each morning = priceless. Thank you Areglia!
