My eyes were always healthy and irritation-free under her care. At one of my appointments, my lash artist was changed last minute to Tina without notice. After the service, my eyes became significantly irritated and inflamed. The reaction was immediate and severe, and I have photo documentation from that day. For $120 including tip, it's fair enough to say that service was unacceptable. I contacted the owner several times seeking a fair resolution. I requested either a refund for the service that caused the reaction or the opportunity to have it corrected by my original lash artist. Both requests were refused. I was told that because the service had been completed months prior, no refund or adjustment would be considered. The only option offered was to return and pay again under a membership rate. After more than a year as a consistent client, I expected accountability and a client-centered response, especially when a service resulted in visible physical irritation. Instead, responsibility was deflected and the solution required additional payment. Policies are important, but how a business responds when something goes wrong matters more. Unfortunately, this experience fell short of the professionalism I had previously experienced.

To be honest, I never thought I would be able to have perfect brows due to part of my face being partially paralyzed. As you can imagine, I struggled to achieve perfect brows for a really long time!!!! At first, Lisa took her time designing the right shape for my brows around the bone structure in my face. Afterwards she puts numbing cream to make sure it did not hurt :) Once it was all numb the process begins, first was the outline, and then MICROSHADING! If I ever felt discomfort I told Lisa, and she generously provided more numbing cream. After the appointment, Lisa was very thorough when providing after procedure care instructions. She provided me with a special care cream to help if it from becoming excessively dry or irritated. The healing process went very smoothly. I made sure to make my touch-up appointment early to ensure I reserved a time that works for me and Lisa! After my touch-up appointment the results shocked me. I initially booked through Square Up and was a little taken aback by the $130 'deposit'. It's not really a deposit, but rather the total cost for the service I was setting an appointment for. Perhaps that should have been my first red flag, but I went ahead and entered my credit card info and was charged the $130 thinking I was going to the appointment anyway, so whatever. I then get a text from Alissia asking if I can send her Apple Cash for the $130 amount instead because she wasn't able to accept the credit card payment (even though it's required to book an appointment) and would cancel the charge on my credit card. Definitely should have been the second red flag for me, but I went ahead and sent her the money anyway, I suppose I'm too trusting a person. Credit to her, she did cancel the credit card charge even though it took her a few days to respond to my inquiries via text about it. It turned out I wasn't able to make the appointment and wasn't able to reschedule. I looked at her Instagram for a cancellation policy and it said she has a $30 and a $50 non-refundable deposit requirement in different story posts (not consistent), which isn't what she required on Square Up - she required total cost of service. When I looked at her Square Up site, it doesn't say anything about a specific deposit amount, but rather that she doesn't refund anything if someone needs to cancel. So I basically lost out on $130 due to my own poor research skills. Just giving the next person a heads up - unless you know for certain you're going to make your appointment (i.e. life doesn't get in the way of your plans), I wouldn't book here unless she changes her policies. I've been to a few other eyelash techs (all of whom were small business owners) and none of them required a deposit to book.
