Parking was free and if you get there early, you get some close parking as well. Price of admission is really good, staff was friendly and professional. Restrooms are decent but they are not permanent(rental type restrooms). Besides being a seasonal pumpkin patch/ sunflower farm, they also have a small food fair with many options for fair food and drinks and some games for kids. Live Oak Pumpkin Patch is the place to be during pumpkin season. Their patch is honestly top tier. Just know going in: it's super popular now and it gets busy fast. Prices have definitely gone up -- weekend entry is around $20 -- so if you want to avoid the chaos, I 100% recommend going Monday through Thursday. Fridays through Sundays are packed. You end up parking what feels like miles away, and then you either hike it in or hop on the free shuttle. Inside, it's basically a mini fair. They've got tons of attractions, a corn maze (but heads up -- that closes early, so get there before 5 p.m.), carnival-style games, and a whole food court with all the classic fair treats. My go-to is always the kettle corn. There are tons of cute photo ops too, but if you go on a weekend, prepare to wait in line for those -- Instagram has made this place way too famous. Closer to Halloween, the crowds get wild. All that said, it's beautiful, festive, and absolutely worth checking out. Just plan ahead, expect crowds, and be ready for higher prices. read more

It was my first official pumpkin patch and I thought it was a lot of fun. We went on the last day of the season (Nov. 2nd). I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was a 2-hour drive from me and pretty much worth the experience. I came for the food, of course, but there were rides, games, photo ops, and lots of activities for kids. Apparently the largest pumpkin patch in Southern California so that's pretty cool. I would advise to come earlier in the season and enjoy all that it has to offer! Parking was very easy, but again, it was the last day and we went in the last three hours before closing lol. The food was really good. Favorites were the huge turkey leg, BBQ beef brisket, and funnel cake (plain). It was nice that they had TVs because we also got to watch the final World Series game. Opening Day Review: Came out on opening day to take advantage of their free admission and free petting zoo. Get there EARLY! We arrived about 1 1/2 hr before opening since we were in the area. We were able to park but couldn't line up until 3. I want to say that by the time they opened by 4, there had to be about 100+ people. The line was a bit chaotic and no one directing where people should line up. Once they opened the doors everyone was in by 4:20 I would say. As others have mentioned, unless you want to pay for fair food prices then it's best to eat before or after. We wrapped up our night at the patch about 7. They had plenty of activities for little ones that was part of their free admission. Honestly a good place for kids to run and get exhausted. We skipped out one their ticketed games and rides. I personally couldn't justify paying for it. Plenty of photo ops at the entrance. I wish we would've done that first because by the time we were leaving it was extremely packed. 7 pm I saw a line to exit the freeway, and people scouring to get a parking spot. read more

Our party recently came here to celebrate the last few weeks of the Halloween season. [Parking]: $20 onsite parking (cash or credit cards). [Admission]: Our party paid $25 per adult on Saturday, but price varies depending weekdays vs holidays - see the website for more details. [Tickets]: Most of the highlighted rides/games require ADDITIONAL tickets. Tickets packages = 45 tickets for $40, 120 tickets for $100, or 20 tickets for $20. The staff will issue a card with a QR code and the card will be used to deduct ticket counts for each activity. *** Activities Our Party Did *** Personally the top three activities to do here are the following - free photo ops, train ride (with a stop at the Sunflower Fields), corn maze, and pumpkin/apple blasters. [Photo ops - free]: Take lovely couple or family pictures at Big Rocking Chair, Pumpkin Houses, Tractors, etc. [Big Train - 7 tickets per person]: The Disney-like train will take passengers through various fields and make a quick stop at the Sunflower Fields (10-minute ride to the field). Passengers can get off the train and take pictures & hang around at the Sunflower Fields. Don't worry - passengers can stay & wait until the arrival of the next train (trains arrive in 7 - 8 minute intervals). Definitely worth a ride! [Corn Maze - entry closes 1-hour prior to farm closing; 8 tickets per person]: The maze wasn't designed to confuse visitors so everyone should be able to exit the maze as long as they stay on paths. Not as interesting as Big Brain, but worth check it out. [Pumpkin Blasters (9 tickets for 3 shots) / Apple Blasters (9 tickets for 5 shots)]: It was actually quite fun to shoot a giant pumpkin out of these blasters. I HIGHLY recommend getting pumpkins instead of apples because apples = smaller mass = less acceleration = less impact. To load a pumpkin into the blaster, make sure to pull back the handle or lever to load it or else nothing will come out of the blaster. Highly recommended! [Tractor Hay Ride - entry closes 1-hour prior to sunset; 5 tickets per person]: Very bumpy ride and it was not exactly comfortable. *** Other Activities *** The U-Pick Pumpkin Fields, Petting Zoo (largest in Southern California), carnival rides, inflatables, fair games, The Singing Chicken Show, The Banjo Boys Show, Live Entertainment (weekends only), Face Painting (Fri-Sun only), etc. [Conclusion]: Our party arrived at 2:45 PM and left at 5:30 PM. Not a fan of the farm map and our party had a slight issue figuring out locations for certain activities. This was my second year attending and honestly it just seems very overpriced now. Although there are many wonderful attractions, carnival foods, and rides there is a fee for everything a fee for the corn maze was so disappointing when i spoke to friends about other pumpkin patches were the admission price included that (and if I remember correctly so did last year's ticket) it changed my perspective on the place. While it's a cute pumpkin patch/farm, it felt like everything was pricey. There is a fee to get in unless you go on a free day, and then fees for all of the activities, and the pumpkins themselves. They also have a cute gift shop, but a lot of what is there could easily be found online for a more affordable rate. I will say, the food options did seem to be the most affordable thing there, so that is good for families. If you plan to go, I would try to go on a weekday. I imagine the weekend gets crazy packed. This little pumpkin farm is a fun and happy destination for children or the kid in YOU. There's a train, carnival rides, games, a petting zoo, farmyard decor, and of course you can buy pumpkins and gourds. The gift shop is very cool, and has a lot of unique items. I would argue they have one of the most BEAUTIFUL collections of native flowers in Southern California. Their, 'look - don't touch' policy keeps the gardens vibrant and ALIVE with bees, hummingbirds, sparrows, and a wide variety of pollinating insects and butterflies. A walk through the gardens puts you in another world entirely. There are tons of food and beverage options, with county fair-like food and snack offerings. I've been here during pumpkin season, many times and this past year was the first time I've been during Christmas time. The pumpkin season seems to be way more busy. Obviously they are going to have different vibes and different feelings. They both always have good, rides, games, fun, and so many picture options. Perfect for the kids or perfect for a date! Christmas tree farm: They have such cute Christmas lights, so so many different places for photos. Bring that professional camera and get those pictures taken!! Such a perfect spot for it. They have Christmas music playing, fires you can sit around, warm drinks, ice skating, and the train ride! We did the train ride and it is so worth it! It's so cute! It was pretty cold but so worth it. And you can also get your Christmas tree here! During Christmas it is free to park and free to get in. Pumpkin patch: This is more of a fall vibe! They have pumpkins galore!! They still have all the carnival rides. They have the train ride as well. You do have to pay to get in during fall. They still have so many picture opportunities here too! The prices: We always eat before or after coming here, and we just get a drink and something from the little shop at the front. We always do the train too. Don't get me wrong, this is THEE pumpkin patch. They got everything right- photo ops, pumpkins, food, games, carnival rides, mazes, a cute lil spooky train ride.. if you go to a pumpkin patch THIS IS THE ONE. Note: it's expensive! I saved by going on a day where kids were free entrance. I still spent $100 for 120 tickets and with three kids at 3-7 tickets per ride.. OUCH. Food is normal pricey for carnival. Service is pretty great, a mix of young and old. Still, I was not expecting to be out $200 for a night of fun... And we didn't buy the pumpkins because they were expensive, lol. Review # 29 for 2025 I took my baby here for the first time this year. I have seen and heard about this place but have never been. We went during first responder day because I could get in free as a nurse. They even gave me 2 free ride tickets! First getting here from my home was brutal, it took nearly TWO hours with traffic for what should had just taken roughly 45 minutes! The parking lot was thankfully free, but packed!! We were able to park in the regular parking lot, but at the very end and that ended up being a not so easy walk with a stroller in the dirt. Everyone who worked here was friendly and very helpful to us. This place is pretty big!! Everything was well spread out and my baby boy had a blast running all around! He had a great time in the petting zoo area and just running around in general! We got there around 5pm due to traffic. I was hopping to get there earlier and actually stayed until closing which I was not expecting! There was just so much to see and do!! There are so many animals in their petting zoo area! Lots of animals to look at! There were also carnival games, rides, and food vendors. Just know that the food vendors are EXTREMELY expensive! We got some pizza fries and it was nearly $20!! I saw tacos for $6 a piece. Bring your own snacks or plan to eat before or after. Otherwise, there were lots of photo op. There was a train ride I really wanted to do, but the line for that was long and so we ended up not doing it. I see that they also do Christmas trees out here. I would not mind going to check that out also. Would I come back? Yes, but I would definitely leave my house way earlier and get something to eat before entering the farm. INCREDIBLY RUDE STAFF!! I grew up coming here and have gone almost every year at Christmas time, however, I no longer go during pumpkin season because it's way too crowded. I decided to take my niece and nephew to ice skate since the price seemed fair and they had a buy one get one free wristband deal. When you buy your tickets and wristband, they don't tell you the process of getting separate tickets for picking up your skates inside the tent, so I went up to the ice-skating tent and joined the long line coming out of it. The person going through the line checking if the waivers were completed was friendly and told me that I needed to go grab tickets from inside the tent so I could get our ice skates once we reached the front of the line. I told my niece and nephew to continue waiting in that line while I ran inside to grab the tickets. The woman I interacted with at the booth was incredibly rude and just seemed miserable, she wore glasses and had blonde hair in a ponytail but I didn't catch her name. I let her know that we already checked in with the waiver person outside, and that she had told me to come in to grab our tickets since we already had our hands stamped and the waiver checked. This ticket woman proceeded to scan my card because I was just there for ice-skating ( I didn't get a wristband, just 10 tickets to skate) while my niece and nephew had wristbands. She proceeded to scan my card and said there were only 10 tickets available and that I needed 30, when I then reminded her that I was only using tickets for myself and my niece and nephew had wristbands which included ice-skating. She then very rudely told me to go back outside and get tickets from the person checking the waivers in line because she needed to see the people wearing the wristbands. I understand because I know there are probably dishonest people that try to get in for free, but when one employee tells me I can just run in to grab the tickets I don't know why another employee refuses to do that and is extremely disrespectful in the process . I then went back outside to the original person who then only gave me tickets for the kids and then told me to go back inside to get the ticket for myself. Just a few minutes after I tried to get the tickets the first time, I went back inside and was helped by a different girl. She proceeded to scan my ticket card and said it was empty and I didn't have enough tickets to ice skate. I told her the woman next to her just scanned it a couple minutes ago and I'm assuming it took the tickets off the card, so it was now showing it was empty. She then looked to the other woman (the one with a ponytail who was very rude the first time) and asked if she had remembered scanning my card, and the woman in a snarky voice said "I don't remember! I have seen over 600 ice skaters today!" This new girl who was helping me reluctantly gave me my ticket and she seemed hesitant to give it to me as if I was trying to get in for free. I stated I was in there at the most 2 minutes before and i didn't understand how the other woman couldn't remember our interaction. This whole process was so unorganized and the ice-skating rink was crammed full of people. I only went around once with my nephew when we decided to just go on some rides instead. Though this place looks fun on the outside, the process of getting tickets and getting inside for ice skating took well over 45 minutes when it didn't need to be this complicated. They could also do this with a smile on their face because kindness is free. I understand it is stressful working with crowds but when someone is rude for no reason at all, it just kind of ruins the whole experience. If they know that you're there to ice skate I feel they should give you the tickets to get your skates when you are buying your wristband or ticket in the first place. The people who were running the rides were amazing and very friendly. I just wish those who were helping with the ice-skating had the same attitude!! Minus the girl outside the tent, she was nice and I felt she was a bit frustrated with the process as well. read more

They have a parking lot right at the location. But I think they also have another parking lot about 3-4 min drive away, it might be designated when their main parking lot gets filled. So cute. I would say it's a great place to come with your family and kids! About 95% of the rides are catered to children, but they're not included in the admission ticket. You would need to pay for tickets to go on the rides (trolley, game booths, food booths?, feeding farm animals). I would say Live Oak Canyon does have one of the bigger pumpkin patches in Southern California. There's a quiet garden maze with several picturesque setups. Usually will take about 1-1.5 hrs to complete if you're only there to look and take pictures. Warning: If you come towards the last week of the pumpkin patch they will close off 25% of the fair (pumpkin blaster game booth, corn maze, and U-pick pumpkin field). Their gift shop was also closed. I was looking forward to walk through their corn maze and play the pumpkin shooting game but they did not list these activities to be closed on their website. Their website was vague about what was included and what would be closed. Honestly, a little bit disappointed, if you're coming with a plus one. Practically charged a $30 admission to walk and take pictures. I feel that buying 123 Lavender Farms tickets would be more worth it if you wanted to take pictures, walk around, try special curated food/drinks, and shop around. read more

I love this pumpkin patch, even though it is a two-hour drive! This place is pretty big. I came here two years ago and was not able to see everything, and the same thing happened this year. Nevertheless, we had an amazing time. One of the coolest things was the photo opp in front of the pumpkin house where you can get your photos printed and texted for twenty dollars. We did the pony ride for the little ones, and they were secure and had such a blast. The games were fun and affordable, and there were so many different vendors/photo opps to enjoy. I also noticed how clean everything was, and every worker I interacted with was very friendly especially the girl near the other pumpkin house by the exit who took great photos of me and my family. This was a nice little Christmas park up north. I heard the pumpkin patch is huge and the big deal but this Christmas set up wasn't bad. I don't know if I would go out of my way to come up here but being in the area, it was good to stop by and check out. They had rides and games and tons of Christmas theme activities. They did have a ice skating rink which was really cool. The customer service wasn't great. Everyone working there seemed mad and didn't want to be there and seemed frustrated with people. God this was a nightmare!! Drive two hours to get here, parking was packed took about 45 minutes just to wait in line TO PARK. so we ended up walking super far in the heat at around 12, on two hours after it opened. there was dirt everywhere, wore a dress and my legs were covered in dirt from walking just to the pumpkin patch. Part two is when you walk in. $25 admission per person so it was $50 for me and my fiance. By the way that's just for admission, doesn't come with anything, just to walk through the door. Then you're asked by multiple people if you'd like to buy tickets, it's $1 per ticket so we thought if we got $20 we'd be able to do a couple things and that was a decent amount to get. It's blazing hot so we walk up to a drink stand where they had agua fresca or refreshing fruit drinks. $16 per cup..... sixteen. one six. i thought he accidentally charged us for two. nope it was $16 so we were like, we're already down $70 without even doing a thing, we'll just get one. boom $86 on admission, tickets and a drink. Okay so fast forward we're going to eat after walking around. We ended up choosing a hot dog place because everything was so expensive. 6.50 for tacos, 22 for one slice of pizza, well we ended up paying 17.50 for a plain hotdog and $16 for curly fries. CURLY FRIES for $16. I know you might be thinking you could've just got something else. i promise you there's not a decent price for anything anywhere. okay so we're down $120 already. so we figured. let's just put our tickets for good use. we're like, oh a corn maze that's pretty fun. 8 tickets, okay a little pricey but it's okay, no it's 8 per person. so $16 to walk through a maze that is genuinely just a big circle. it's so hard to get lost. trust me we tried. no we paid $16 to walk through a dead corn field in the heat. well we had four tickets left, let's go to the petting zoo it can't be that expensive. nice try!! $6 per person and $5 per feed. oh yeah and you know how it's a petting zoo? you can't pet ANY of the animals. there's huge signs everywhere saying no petting. you just walk around in circles and stare at them. if i wanted to go to a zoo, i would've. we're finally exhausted from doing nothing our stomachs are turning from the gross food, so we decide to go watch a free 10 minute magic show, on the way there we stopped to get a caramel apple, just one. 18$. and it's not a real caramel apple, they cut up a single tiny apple for you and give you a side of caramel. wow. we got a sprite because it was still super hot at this point, 7.50. couldn't believe it. we get to the magic show and it's cute mostly for kids. and i really wanted to get a caricature because we just passed by one. so we sit down and get our faces drawn. he asked me if i wanted him to add color to our drawing i said sure why not. $30 per face and $30 for color. wow. don't forget tax. $100 for a simple caricature with a little bit of neutral color. couldn't believe it. my fiance decided to pick me a rose from one of the bushes to try and cheer me up. and as we're walking out, the worker asked me for my receipt for my flower. and i laughed. why? because i thought she was joking. i asked her about 6 times if she was joking. she said no you have to pay for that, take it to guest services so they can charge you and give you a receipt. excuse me???? i just handed her the flower and told her to keep it. worst experience ever. now that we're tired, hungry and bored after spending $300+ on the most overrated pumpkin patch ever. we have to walk in the heat all the way to our car. and drive 2 hours back home. begging you to save your money. go to a smaller pumpkin patch where they actually care about you, your money and your experience. what a sad day read more

I also want to highlight the beautiful and wonderful Madelyn, who supervised the tiger bounce house. When a child was frightened at the top, she kindly carried them child down, ensuring their safety and happiness. She was very attentive when larger kids were around, waiting patiently to allow smaller children to join in safely in separate groups. Many helpful employees came up to us offering to take our photo when they saw us struggling to take photos, that was very nice of them. One even showed us to a spot we needed to go. Sweet girl. Variety of food to eat various food, turkey legs, pizza , Mexican food, sweet treats... prices are a bit much. $10 a slice of pizza and $4 water... $10 corndog.... My little one & I visited Live Oak Pumpkin Patch on Halloween and had an absolutely amazing experience! This was our first time visiting the Redlands Pumpkin Patch which was a brief 30 min. drive from home, and such a delightful gem! The pumpkin patch was elaborately decorated with beautiful fall themed *snap worthy backdrops at every turn! My daughter had a ball! Staff members were courteous, helpful and friendly! There were countless attractions/rides + activities to enjoy! Surprisingly, the event wasn't overly crowded the evening we visited, parking was convenient and ride lines weren't unbearably long! There was a a trolley that transported guests from parking areas to the entry area which was top tier! There was a wide variety of delicious food vendors that remind you of "Fair Food"!! While some food vendors were a little on the pricey side, our money was well spent on shareable selections like funnel cake, nachos etc. and wristbands which offered unlimited rides + a train ride which was a great value!! Our only mild disappointment was that the Petting Zoo was more of an observation experience' than an actual "Petting Zoo" as many (*practically all) animals were enclosed inside and un-pettable. Additionally, parents require tickets to enter or accompany their child/children inside the Petting Zoo even if children have wristbands. *Feed is available for purchase for those wishing to feed the animals. I must say that our favorite part of the evening after fun rides, food and games was enjoying hot cocoa aboard the "Live Oak Express" and seeing the expanse of the farm, themed decorations and the beautiful landscape! It's a nice pumpkin patch mixed with a fair vibe for the fam. There are plenty of food vendors and rides for the kiddos. I highly recommend to go during the week to avoid the big crowds on weekends. There are various setups for grab some photos too. The beer options are not good though. The express train es bien but wait until it's dark. I didn't get a chance to try out the giant maze. Came here for the first time with my family, free admission and free parking, so it definitely caught our attention. We made the hour and a half drive up here and got here pretty early so parking was easy. The decorations and lights everywhere make for great photo ops and they even have a couple of fire pits burning, so it was pretty cool. On the other side, every thing inside is extremely overpriced, so the free parking and admission kind of loses its spark there. It's definitely nice to walk around and take some pictures, but if you're looking to eat inside be prepared to pay a pretty penny. read more

My first time visiting this place and I had fun. Parking was a bit far since we had to park in a different lot further away. However, they did provide charter buses to drop you off at the pumpkin patch and also will pick you up after. Just don't forget which lot you parked at. Sadly, we didn't get to ride the tractor since they close during sunset! Hopefully next time we can go before sunset to enjoy the ride. The U-pick pumpkin was not available since pumpkins were not ready but they do have a lot of ready pumpkins in the pumpkin tent when you first walk in after buying your ticket. In the pumpkin tent, you'll see different pumpkins of all sizes and shapes. Honestly, my favorite ones were the white pumpkins and the regular orange ones. I hate the ones with bumps on them. Decided to skip on the corn maze and petting zoo since you had to pay for them. For food, we only got a nutella strawberry funnel cake. It was delicious and worth the $18 we spent on it. Honestly, it was overpriced. Before leaving, don't forget to stop by the gift shop. They have cute decorations and knick knacks to purchase before heading out. I'm so glad we came the first day they opened. It was very busy but I can just imagine how busy it'll get throughout October. read more

One of the biggest and best pumpkin patches I've visited. If you love photo opts definitely visit Live Oak pumpkin patch. This place is amazing and huge. They have games , rides and so much food. I literally spent the whole day here but be prepared for the heat since it tends to get pretty hot. One tip would be to arrive early because the parking lots tend to get full and some people have to do side parking and wind up getting stuck. I saw a couple people needing to get a tow just to get their cars out. read more

We live about 10 minutes from the farm . I highly recommend going during Christmas time If you're on a tight budget and want to do something fun for the holidays this is perfect:). Parking and admission is free. They have s'more kits available for 5 bucks and if your willing to spend money they have wristbands for ride which is about 30 bucks depending on what day you attend. Ice skating rink is not included with the wristbands but they do have special depending on what day you attend. Make sure to check their Instagram for any updates. read more

This place is almost a two hour hour drive (with some traffic) from Los Angeles. It actually took us one hour and 45 minutes to get there. We loved the decor and the photo ops, but we definitely thought it is way overpriced in their beverage and food selection. For example, a water was $6, a lemonade $9 and a funnel cake (small sized) with just powdered sugar topping was $18. Entrance is $25 dollars and if you have kids you need to purchase tickets for the rides. Most things you have to pay for to do. I would recommend a closer pumpkin patch to LA instead unless you do have kids and don't mind spending $$$ to get them on the rides because there are a lot compared to other patches. This is our third time coming here and honestly we've had a blast every time. There's a lot to do here including various rides, petting zoo, pumpkin patches etc. this is a great place to take the kids and there are tons of photo ops here. My only gripe is the price of some of the rides. They use a ticket system to pay for attractions and you can use a card with a QR code to load tickets onto. I REALLY wanted to like this place. It's a huge property with a lot to do....IF you're willing to spend a pretty penny. It cost $20 for me and $15 for my kid to just enter. Then additional activities cost....the "petting zoo" 5 tickets per person (each ticket is like $1), and when we entered every cage had a sign "Don't pet, I may bite" the only animal we could pet was a goat. The rides, I expect to pay but the corn maze?? That should be included. The food is waaaaay overpriced. For anyone going, bring your own water, it's $4/$5 for a 16.5 oz water bottle. I went with a group and those who ate the chicken tenders and fries from one of the vendors got very ill. With entry (1A 1C), 40 tickets, 1 icee, 2 watermelon agua frescas, 2 pretzels, 2 funnel cakes, 3 water bottles, and 1 large pumpkin came out to $168. That's a bit steep. read more

Such a magical place. Even if parking was crazy busy and parking lines were long, we still found a place to park and it's a popular spot during the holidays. Not their fault. Inside was amazing, clean and so beautiful. The pumpkins were all different assortments, kids rides were fun and the food was so good. I loved the store on the way out we got some extra goodies too! Expect high price with Walmart customer service. What happened Live Oak??? What happened to free corn maze and petting animals? I hate when company nickel-and-dime their customers. I understand that inflation is a factor but when you add all the cost; $19 per adult tickets, high food cost, and now you need to purchase tickets for petting zoo; this is hard pass. No wonder his place was dead when I stopped by. Save your money and I would recommend other pumpkin patch places. read more
