Prices are a hit and miss. You will find some things pricey and others reasonable. For sure you'll be looking for convenience. There were employees focused on stocking the shelves. The good news about this location is that they're friendly and they're willing to provide great service. Some of the decor in the store is a bit dated, but it is a small business and you should totally support it. Sage Market is doing their best with minimal customer base. You will find that it reminds you of an older nostalgic general store type market, but overall they have everything that you need at this location. The customers in the town are constant, but the big influx is going to be on the weekends when all of the tourists come to the Jacumba Hot Springs, Hotel, which is across the street. I was able to also purchase lottery tickets as they are an authorized California lottery retailer. The man at the front counter was also nice enough to let me use a pin for my lottery fill out slip. I will do a review on Danny's deli, but it is located within this market and the sandwiches are great so see my review for that deli after this. Overall, this is a great location. They have plenty of inventory with so many items to choose from. I'm serious about so many items so pretty much most of the items that you would find at a CVS or Walgreens or Walmart or a major grocery store are also available here. You can buy pancake mix, muffin mix, boxed pasta, meals, mini, canned goods, drinks, beverages, full stocks of liquor of each type, juices, toiletries, laundry detergent, etc. Again, this is the GO TO spot in Jacumba, CA Thank you Sage Market!

However, the quality of their customer service has been inconsistent - from downright horrible to great. My first time picking up an order went as smooth as silk. The next few times were ridiculous. Our pick up time wasn't upheld. Not only that, they hadn't yet started gathering our items. Another time, we were lied to about our online order - whether they actually received it or not - then about whether they had employees available, etc. We set pickup time for 6pm but physically picked it up around 8:30pm. I was promised a follow-up from the local manager by the online customer service rep but never received it. The online deals are hard to beat so we won't stop altogether but we may try alternatives before shopping here.
