The coffee had that rich, smooth flavor that is hard to find, especially when so many places focus more on trends than the actual craft. I also really enjoyed their bagels, fresh, warm, and the perfect thing to have alongside a good coffee. Me and my partner had such a lovely experience there. The whole space felt like a real third place, somewhere that invites you to stay a little longer, talk, relax, and just enjoy being present. It had that comforting energy that makes you want to come back again and again. What stood out the most was the kindness of the baristas. They asked about our day, made us feel welcomed, and even took the time to explain the quality of their coffee beans. You can tell they genuinely care about both the coffee and the people walking through the door. That kind of warmth is rare. I'll definitely be becoming a regular from now on.

They mirror the cup of black gold that they serve. Espressos, coffee, latte, cappuccinos with flavours ranging from lavender, hazelnut, vanilla, pumpkin spice (tis the season!), and coconut. Now, lets talk about la Disputa. Note: Syrups are not housemade, but nonetheless high quality. The DRINK: Lavender Iced Latte: BLESSINGS OF THE BEAN AND FLOWER Who would have thought to combine the robust, bold flavours of coffee with a sweet syrup singing the chorus of mountain flowers. From the Old World to our new modern world, the coffee bean and lavender leave scores of history on our taste buds. La Disputa coffee beans are bold and bittersweet with a mature earthiness. They are lightened by the mild and creamy milk and the floral and fragrant lavender syrup. You can taste their individual flavours as well as when they blend together to make a floral and slightly bittersweet creation. What is great is that the flavours work hand and hand, and never overwhelm the other. The coffee bean and lavender in sweet harmony. That is the key. My only concern was that the flavours fade quickly overtime with the ice, but all good things eventually come to an end (-1 star). I think I got the gist of it. It just wasn't an issue for me. Walking in with an open mind may be helpful because if you're expecting a Japanese type teahouse with pillows on the floor and petite women in kimonos giggling in the corner, you'll be a tad disappointed. KTH is modern...I mean it has a bank in it for crying out loud. Adjust your expectations accordingly. The tea was great and I love that you have the option to create you're own tea. You don't actually build it yourself or anything, but there's tons of different options for add-ons like tapioca pearls (I think that was an option...it's been a week, cut me some slack haha) and flavors like mango. Really the possibilities are endless and it gives you the freedom to find your dream tea. KTH does have a kind of hipster/modern/Google-offices-inspired feel to it. You know, bright and well equipped with outlets and college students (sprinkled with young professionals). I'm a fan. Even though the place was pretty packed, it wasn't loud. From the moment you walk in, you can tell how much passion the team has for what they do. The staff are incredibly welcoming and genuinely care about their customers. They take the time to ask how you like your drinks and make sure everything is just right, which makes the whole experience feel very personal and thoughtful. What really sets Doppio apart is how unique their flavors are. A lot of cafés tend to follow the same drink trends, but Doppio clearly puts creativity into their menu. Their syrups and flavor combinations are unlike anything I've had before. For example, I tried a peach matcha and a fruity mint matcha--both of which were amazing and something I had never seen offered anywhere else. The quality of the matcha and espresso is also outstanding. You can really taste the difference, and every drink feels carefully crafted. It was a jasmine green tea with brown sugar boba. I wasn't impressed because it wasn't brewed. So it lacked freshness for me. The boba itself was the best boba I've had so far. But even then I just want more flavor. It was average boba nothing special. If I wanted boba again I'll probably come here just because it wasn't bad but it was fair. Thank you!
