The workout was tough but effective and the trainer was engaged and coached on proper form and was motivating. I would go back but not for the 10 credits on class pass that it cost. It wasn't worth that much to me but I suggest you go check it out for yourself and be your own judge.

From the very beginning, we had close supervision and training, the workouts were scaled to meet our abilities, and our questions were answered with professionalism and clarity. Now that we have been going for over 2 years, the physical changes we have seen are astounding - we can chase our kids without getting winded, we have lost nearly 80 pounds combined, purchased a new wardrobe, we've hit all kinds of fitness goals - I even rowed an entire marathon! He contacted me right away and welcomed me to his gym. I was able to get 2 awesome workouts in (Friday morning 6am and Saturday morning 9am). Mark was our coach both times and he did a great job of keeping the workouts fun, challenging and interactive. He also made sure that everyone had proper technique and gave me several excellent tips. The other crossfitters were also super friendly and encouraging towards me, and one another, throughout the workouts and made me feel immediately at home. There was good mix of different ages, genders and skill levels, and the coaches were able to scale workouts, so that everyone at every level was able to participate and have an awesome workout. -If you live in the area or if you are visiting and want to get a drop-in class in I would definitely recommend CFG!

There have been big changes at Alpha Project since Emily and Evan took over. Though everyone in the class was doing the same workout, Emily and Evan made real-time adjustments to my workout, and kept me at a level my body could handle. They understood my injury and made adjustments so I could push myself and get stronger without hurting myself. For other clients coming in with injuries, these classes are great ways to get in your physical therapy. Emily and Evan have been working with athletes for years and really understand how to help the body recover and get stronger. As I got my strength back, I was able to push myself more each class. I started to realize the true sense of community at this gym. Everyone knows everyone, and each new face welcomed me with open arms. When you get in a schedule, you start seeing the same faces week in and week out. These are the kind of people who are cheering you along every lift, every run. It's such an encouraging environment, where the whole class wants to see you work your butt off, push yourself just a little bit more, and even PR. After 4 months at alpha I really began to see and feel the difference. I was stronger than I had ever been, even while training at school with my collegiate team. My core was defined, my arms and legs showed growth with the numbers to match. Emily and Evan also included nutrition help, and worked with me to create a diet that would bring me closer to my fitness goals. My friends started to notice the fat I was losing/muscle definition I was gaining. These coaches are truly so knowledgeable, and their classes follow a 6 to 8 week long program that helps their clients improve on certain focuses. Whether it be a program focusing on mobility, focusing on injury prevention, they always have the knowledge and experience to back up what they do. I'm learning more and more about my body with each class. And everyone I see in class, whether it's the kids like me fresh out of college, the 25-30 year olds, or even the 45-55 parents, everyone at this gym acts like a team, and everyone is pushing themselves and each other to give it as much as they can each workout. The workouts are definitely hard, but Emily and Evan start you at your OWN level. And with time, you'll see just how much you can grow here. Seriously, this gym has been life changing for me. I trust Emily and Evan with my health, and have loved having them cheer me on this past year. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I recommend this this only if you want to become a body builder, otherwise this is not for you. The purpose of this class is to see how much weight you can lift in a certain time frame. The reason I'm giving two stars is because and after I told the owner/instructor my back was hurting from the exercises he just told me not to add weight and keep going with what I was doing. The next morning after this night class I ended up collapsing on the floor and had to crawl to my phone to get a ride to the ER. I learned I herniated a disk in my back and have since spent thousands of dollars on doctor visits. I of course cancelled the rest of my sessions at the Alpha Project and I never got one "sorry" or reimbursement for my unused classes. If you're looking for a gym where you can bulk up and compete against others in the class, go for it. But make sure you listen to your body, not what the instructor tells you to do.

My honest review: I…read morehave worked out at Orange Theory for about 2 years and saw relatively slow results. It was mostly cardio based and I never felt challenged. What I love most about F45: 1. The trainers! Brian and Fran know my name and it's honestly the thing that impressed me the most. Every time I come in, they ask me how I've been and how I feel that week. They get to know their clients names and I find that extremely important. 2. The trainers push me. There are some days I don't want to be there but I'm working towards my goals. The workouts are freaking hard and I can tend to get discouraged. We had a chin up exercise and I immediately started doing an alternate version. Fran noticed this and stopped what she was doing to come help me with the chin ups by adding the bands to the bottom of my feet. Not only did she suggest that but she stood there and made me complete 5!!! I honestly wouldn't have attempted it if she hadn't encouraged me to do so. THEY CARE! 3. The studio is *always* clean and the equipment is well taken care of. 4. The workouts are HARD. Monday, Wednesday and Fridays are cardio days BUT THERE IS NO TREADMILL!! Y'all, I'm telling you. It's worth it. I feel stronger and leaner just by going there 4 times a week. I'm very pleased by switching to F45 from OTF.

I signed up for personal training at what I understood was a flat rate. After learning about additional charges that were never explained to me when I signed up (80 dollar initial scan fee, 50 dollars a month for inbody scan, 3% processing charge, 80 dollar gym membership) I was very alarmed. I thought I was signing up for a flat rate of 640, but with the additional charges it ended up being 800 dollars a month - none of this was outlined in the contract I signed. When I asked him to send me the contract so I could verify the fees are not in the contract, he refused and said it was all explained verbally to me (which is 100% a lie and if it were true, it's unethical to charge customers based on 'verbal' agreements). He ended up not charging me for two months of the gym - which if it would have ended there I would have been completely fine and not feel the need to write this. I decided to complete my 3 month contract and after that I would not be able to financially support 800 a month and would no longer be signing up for additional months. When I informed Taylor I would be cancelling I received an e-mail with a notice of my cancellation and in the notes "Has been a pain in the a** since day 1" when I confronted him about this he said "oh it's just a jovial joke, you know", didn't apologize! and went on to belittle me saying I am the problem and he never has issues like this. I have never felt so disrespected and talked down to in my entire life. All I was trying to do was understand additional charges that were not in my contract nor communicated to me and instead of realizing there is a gap in his business model he shifts the blame to me "I've never had this problem with anyone but you". Just so disrespectful, I am extremely appalled. I would never ever recommend anyone doing business with Taylor. This is not how you treat someone paying you 800 dollars a month. And to anyone from the gym who is going to respond to this.... it isn't about the money, it's about being ethical with your contracts and how you treated me. Five stars for the gym, equipment, and my amazing trainer. Zero stars for the way they treat their customers.

I won't lie I had a good foundation to start but I promise you this woman deserves so much credit. (Sorry for the PF photo I go there too sometimes since it's closer to my job).
