I was working 70-80 hours a week, getting by on 4-5 hours sleep nightly, Not making time to exercise, eating on the run often fast food, and burdened with stress I was unable to manage. I was a mess! With the tools GYIS uses to establish motivation, encouragement and accountability, I have successfully restructured all 3 areas and am already stronger, sleeping better, and after 6 weeks I am 23 lbs lighter. While the workouts are different day to day and include great variety, they are challenging. The trainers are great at expertly describing the proper form for each exercise and providing modifications for different fitness levels all the while cheering us on! Using MyFitnessPal has educated me about nutrition while also providing accountability and motivation. Simply put, I just follow the directions: Attend the 14 exercise sessions monthly. Exercise 5-6 times weekly Eat clean at 5 small meals daily Drink lots of water Sleep 7 or more hours each night I use the tools provided: MyFitnessPal My Coach app Recipes provided It is great having a fitness family all striving to be our best together and providing encouragement along the way. If you need a new plan of action regarding your health, GYIS is the way to go...no gimmicks, no shallow promises, just proven methods and well educated trainers to guide you as needed. I am loving being in control of my health again! You will too!

    I recently joined this Boot Camp class and have attended only 3 classes so far. The class starts at…read more5:30 am and is held indoors at the gym at Camden Apartments in Farmers Market in Downtown Dallas on Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays. It takes me exactly 8 mins to get there in the morning from Uptown so it works well. The classes are small and quite personal. They make sure you are doing everything properly and guide you through your weight loss or wait gain needs :) For me, its more of a support system if you want to call it that. I know they push us hard lots of times and there is no way I would work out that hard on my own unless someone was pushing me like that to keep me going. And seeing other people perform better only makes me try harder. So I am looking forward to the results in the upcoming months. But I highly recommend this class or Boot Camp for anyone looking to get in shape without a Gym commitment or contract.

I discovered this place on instagram and shared it with my friend and before I knew it , we were both IN! We both want to lose a lot of weight and this seemed like the healthiest way of doing it because it comes with meal plans, protein shakes, accountability, and most important, like minded community . If you are not motivated to change your life for the better , or constantly finding negative reasons to bail out, this is not for you . This place is for people passionate about bettering their, mind, body , and soul while having fun ! I have never felt more accepted than I have as a member at Pursue Performance. It was liberating to work out among women of all shapes and sizes get coached and motivated by trainers who love what they do and that is to change lives for the better in regards to helping people be self sufficient in a healthy life style. Boot camp is fun and the music keeps you pumped and going strong ! I love the honesty of this place because they tell you exactly what to expect as a member here and you can feel that the coaches are passionate about changing lives. As a former certified person trainer by the Cooper Institute of Dallas and trainer at Fitness Connection (big box gym) I can vouch for the integrity and professionalism that Pursue Performance drives on. These trainers are not here just to earn a check , you can feel their contagious energy driving you to push further past your own self doubt . I'm ready for my life and body to change for the better .

I haven't lost any weight yet, but already I feel much more agile, stronger, and healthier thanks to the hour-long sessions. Another great side effect is the mental sharpness I've regained. No mood swings when your blood is pumping and you're on your feet being active. TBC is a great way to get into a workout bootcamp; trainer is encouraging and helpful, always motivating. I've had no problems communicating with the team; Jennifer (owner operatior) and Kimmie (instructor) are always providing feedback. You work out at your own pace, perform what you can realistically achieve. As long as you don't cheat yourself, you'll get results. This camp is in the Best Buy parking lot adjacent to the 121/635 exchange in Lewisville. Yes, it's an outdoor camp and subject to closure during inclement weather. I think the outdoor setting stimulates more than the static environment of an indoor gym. I'm not necessarily fond of the noise and smell of traffic, or the condition of the parking lot at times; but it's a minor annoyance that I'm willing to overlook given the benefits of this camp. There really are people of ALL LEVELS of fitness there. You work at your own pace, and the instructors are very helpful when showing you how to modify the workout based on your ability. It is such a positive and encouraging environment! Kelli (instructor at Lakewood) is AMAZING! She makes it a little easier to get up and work out at 5:30 in the morning! I recommend Transportation Boot Camp to everyone!
