I have seen several different therapists at Living Arts Wellness and they are all very caring and concerned about my individual needs at the time of the massage. For example, I do not love being in the neck cradle, and every therapist had suggestions for how to modify and minimize my time in that position. The number of therapists also maximizes times across the clock for getting an appointment at a time of day that works for you! Highly recommend. read more

Came in today for a ionic foot cleanse. this was the first time i have done one in probably 20 years. The center is a little house but inside is set up very cozy and professional. When you walk in you will be asked to take off your shoes, and right now you will have to fill out a covid form and have a temp taken. there is relaxing music playing in the background. Matta was very professional and also friendly. I asked some questions about the process and she did some explaining to me. The ionic foot bath was very relaxing. I did feel some tingling happening during the process. She said it pulled out some stuff with liver, lymphatic and heavy metals. I will probably go back in the future though. Our bodies can always use a little extra support. We ask a lot of them and put them through a lot. I am excited to see if I feel any difference tomorrow. I asked about other services there - she said they do colon cleansing stuff, massage, the ionic foot baths and more. Worth a try! Just had my first (and last) massage here. Unfortunately not a positive experience. I was a few minutes late because there is construction right outside the building and their office is incredibly hard to find. I had to call to get directions as I wandered around the building for the 3rd time - it's well hidden in the back corner with no signs. I was concerned this would cut into my appointment. I asked the therapist about if she had an appointment right after and she said she did so I knew my appointment would be shorter than what I scheduled but I was hoping she would be understanding of the circumstance. I am quite sure I am not the only one who had difficulty finding it. Leave yourself PLENTY of time to access their office. Massage was ok, not the best or the worst I've had. Middle line I'd say. Went to pay with a gift card my son gave me and I was having difficulty finding it on my phone. I knew it was on my computer because I saw it earlier today. I asked if I could access my email from their computer. She said no. I asked if I could leave my phone or drivers license (obviously meaning I would return) so I could go 3 blocks to get my computer and show her the gift card. She literally told me I couldn't leave the building without paying in full. Seriously?? So much for a "Wellness Center" with zero trust. Like I would abandon my phone to get out of paying for a massage?!?! Completely insulting. Then she asked literally 3 times if I was going to tip her. Now let me be clear, I ALWAYS tip service people a minimum of 20%. Even bad waitstaff. It's a hard industry and I respect that. But the bottom line is a tip is earned, it is not an entitlement. Had she extended my massage even 5 minutes to account for the late start that would have shown customer service. Yes, I was late but they could also tell new clients 1) there is construction out front blocking road access and 2) how to find the office in a large building with no signs. However, the mistrust that I had a certificate (which I thankfully finally found on my phone) resulting in a refusal to let me leave the building even if in possession of my phone or driver's license was just too much. (PS- I was there for over 30 minutes past my appointment end and she had no other following appointment) Summary: there are plenty of places to get a very good massage in Fort Collins. I highly recommend Amara. They know how to treat their customers with grace and care. read more

Kindly tried to explain that I made a mistake but she told me that I should have figured it out...I agreed that I needed to take more self responsibility and left. read more

Matthew Harmon is a very intuitive healer and very skilled at his profession. I have been a massage therapist for 31 years and have had a hard time finding someone to go to for my own therapy. This was my first visit to this location. My brother and I both got foot detox baths. We enjoyed it. Upon entering, the atmosphere is cost and home-like. There are books for sale and not necessarily a "menu" (look online for that). Normally they are appointment only but they were able to squeeze us in when I called about 4 hours ahead. The staff was great. I will definitely be back for a footpath, colon cleansing or more. Cool spot. read more

I went to see Beth for a myofascial release massage after experiencing severe pain in my shoulder, neck, and upper back for over a year. I tried everything to ease the pain - yoga, heating pad, hot tub, traditional relaxation massages. Nothing helped and I was taking Aleve every day just to not be in pain all day. I wasn't quite sure about getting a massage during COVID but they are taking all the necessary precautions - everything was super clean, we wore masks the whole time, payment was contactless. And the best part is that my pain is completely gone! After 90 minutes with Beth, I feel so much better. It was amazing and such a relief. highly recommend her for pain relief. read more

She is amazingly talented, and her deep tissue massages are able to work out my stubborn neck and shoulder issues. Mandy is also very friendly, knowledgeable and just an overall great person! My spouse and I have been going there for years. Unfortunately we will not be going there anymore as prices have increased 30% since we started going there years ago. Since the latest round of price hikes I seem to be getting many more email ads about last minute openings, and I can understand why. I understand market adjustment and standard price hikes, but gouging and greed has no place in an industry that should primarily be about providing care. :( Sorry to all the the therapists that was providing us massage, reflexology, and other services, you will be missed. Once they drop their prices back to a more reasonable number, we'll definitely be back! I hope it happens soon. I really don't want to hear a retort about how rent or supplies are going up, or whatever justification given for a 30% price hike, without understanding how much all the open slots are costing your employees. Returning to a more reasonable cost for services would bring more than just us and the hundreds per month we bring in back to this wonderful place. Please reconsider, it'll be ok. :) read more

The office area and massage room were very pleasant and comfortable. I also tried the oxygen exercise therapy before my massage which helped process toxins and helped loosen up my muscles. I thoroughly enjoy the peaceful healing atmosphere of the facility. Celeste provides healing massage and colon therapy in a very professional manner with a genuine concern for the individual's health and well being. I have found her skill and expertise to be unmatched. I live in the Chicago area and have been unable to find deep tissue massage that has even begun to approach the work that she has done for me. She has helped to heal a variety of chronic problems that I have had. Among other things, she has relieved pain from plantars fascitis and other foot problems, as well as muscle spasms and lower back pain. She has also opened my chest to help me breathe easier when suffering from asthma. Through colon hydro therapy and other cleansing techniques she has helped me get rid of a large number of gall stones which had begun to cause me chronic pain.
