She was friendly, welcoming, and truly made our visit memorable. The market has an amazing selection of hot foods and desserts, and everything we tried was delicious. Well we did not trust that option and it did not seem anyone did because every cart was there and all shoppers were taking the regular small carts. Upon entering the store seemed very clean and smelled like BBQ food right away. Just like all standard food chains they have their deli with cooked foods, cheeses, meats, cold cuts, sandwiches already made as well. They had a good size produce department , still selling all lettuce that has been on the news with its issues . No signs about purchasing the ready made bags of lettuce just like nothing is going on. They had an entire department for Wines and liquor that was very nicely laid out as well. Prices here are much higher. After finding everything we needed we went to the cashier open. I asked her, are many people using those shopping carts that ring up all the groceries? She replied? No, our manager here is a tech nerd and does not understand our demographic, she then went on to explain that she wished they would work because she hates her job because she's not a people person and does not like to talk to people and she would be more than happy to loose her job. The breakfast sandwich is a must have. Ive never had beef bacon before and wow, amazing! So filling, great for a pre-hike meal. Avocado toast was also delicious but only one slice so a bit smaller. We also had the banana peanut butter toast which was a bigger serving than we thought. The peanut butter was definitely sticky. The mexican hot chocolate was a delicious coffee alternative for me, especially the whipped cream. Second day I had a burrito instead and the french toast. They were out of syrup for the toast and I wish it had been a bit better, but still good. Same with the burrito, nothing bad to say about it but not as awesome as the sandwich on the first day. Again, maybe due to it being so slammed. Would definitely like to visit again!

Always a nice selection of beautiful produce from My Girlfriends Garden which also has a small selection of Lillie Mae's products. We've gotten some delicious baked goods from here and love Red Rock Tamales. They are just stuffed with goodness! We also had some awesome guacamole from there for the first time! Typically there's some musical entertainment going on and Windmill Park is gorgeous! I always try to plan my business in the Verde Valley for Thursday so I can hit up this Farmers Market from 2 PM to dusk.

It's served warm with buttered and toasted baguettes and the entire app is absolutely sublime. Learned today it develops from a recipe in California! Tastes like it! I also had the rigatoni with spicy Italian sausage. Large portion (half is dinner later) with toasted bread and fresh Parmesan. The marinara is hit with fennel and tomato bits, so much flavor and the sausage has just the right spice. The sur andes Malbec was the perfect wine. They have a very impressive and extensive wine list, great price points. The restaurant is set above Oak Creek, hence Up the Creek. Ample windows provide bird watchers beautiful views of Cornville natural wildlife. Prices are better than Sedona and this place, while off the beaten path, is every bit Sedona-worthy! To steal my wife's description, "Manzanita Restaurant is a culinary oasis in the middle of nowhere, where flavors collide, and memories are made." SERVICE: The staff is warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. It's obvious that they take pride in ensuring a memorable dining experience. We couldn't have felt more welcome or had better dining experiences on both visits. WINE: Manzanita has a decent selection of wines by the glass and bottle. It's not the largest, but there's something to pair with all dishes. Both times we had a fantastic bottle of Zinfandel from Geyserville, CA, which paired great with our meat entrées. The bottle price is very reasonable, as we used to be members of that winery and know what they charge. FOOD: Outstanding gourmet game specialties and German delights. We've tried several soups, sides, and main dishes and have enjoyed them all. Soups of the Day have ranged from Pumpkin Purée, Ostrich, to Manhattan Clam Chowder. Salads can be added as a side or as an entrée, including adding Chicken Breast or Grilled Salmon. We've also tried a couple appetizers like the Edamame & Roasted Brussel Sprouts In a ginger soy glaze with sesame seeds, and the French Escargot served in mushroom caps with garlic herb sauce. Main entrées we've tried include an Orange Roughy Special with red cabbage, a Manzanita Salad with Chicken Breast, Fried Shrimp, Coconut Shrimp, Bison Tenderloin with vegetable medley, Venison Medallions Special with a creamy mushroom gravy and mashed potatoes, Antelope Steak Special, and a Prime Rib Special. The toppings and horchata helped make it possible to consume despite the saltiness. So overpriced salty tamale gets 2 stars, ambiance 5, and horchata 5, which is why this place gets a three stars overall. The tea section at Sacra and Spice has a wide variety and the prices are completely reasonable. This is true for all items in the shop.  Brian, the owner, is very welcoming, helpful, proactive and fun to talk to. He actually introduced me to a few new herbs like Myrrh, with which he is very experienced, and I really enjoy all of them ever since.  If you're traveling through Sedona, make sure to stop here and visit. The nice guy on the other end explained that the meat was in freezers, in the back of the saddle shop, which was next door to the print shop. My first suggestion for Lazy 5S: create a big sign saying something like, "LAZY 5S MEATS INSIDE!" - otherwise I would never have found it with GPS alone. I bought a huge tenderloin, and I have to say it was the juiciest, tastiest filet mignon I had ever experienced in my life. Amazing! Unfortunately for me, I live in Brooklyn NY - but the moment Lazy 5S becomes available the way Omaha Steaks are [they're just "OK"] - I will be first in line to order!

This is the highest quality grass fed beef I could find in the area. Apparently quality matters because with no change in my diet protocol other than the source of meat, I had significant improvement after just one week of eating it daily. It's the first time since I got hit with this condition that I've had any improvement at all so this is huge. I bought a quarter of a cow and picked it up at the ranch. After seeing the lush green pastures that the cows graze on and the cleanliness of the operation, including supplementation and even how the cows are treated, it all made sense. This is not just dinner, it's therapy. Since then, I have continued to improve and honestly believe that this highly nutritious beef is the foundation for my healing. It's not only the highest quality, but it's also the best tasting beef I've ever had. I have so much gratitude for the integrity and the heart that goes in to this beef...worth every penny.
