I have been a member of three Community Support Agriculture (CSA) over the years. This is by far the best CSA I have joined. I love the variety of items offered. Each week you can select from a list of various items as the weekly share. You just login to the member portal and in seconds you pick from a list of items that are available that week (in the growing cycle). I selected my items for this week and had a choice of about 20 items (of which I select 6 for a small share). There was for example garlic, onions, various herbs, tomatoes, eggplant, carrots, hot peppers, sweet peppers, kale, swiss chard.... Depending on the time of season, you can also get items like watermelon and berries. The other great choices this farm has is egg shares and various types of meat. I don't get these but many members do. Finally, they offer a market side of the weekly pick up items. So, if you need some additional vegetables, you can purchase them (at a discount to members). The staff is very friendly and greets you, and helps you find your share items. I saw a negative review (no disrespect) but the price is consistent with two other CSA's I joined over the past 15 years. Also, the quality of the produce is better and the selection is more varied then other local CSA's. I was a member of another CSA which is just a few minutes from here and it cost more money and required members to pick crops. Here, you can pick some crops if you want but there is no work requirement. read more
