We went with Affordable Window Tinting after creating a project in Yelp and getting quotes from 10…read moredifferent companies. At first we went with Polar Tint but during the appointment we realized they gave us a quote for the lower heat rejection material so we left. When getting window tint, always ask for IR or heat rejection percentage. Affordable Window Tinting used ceramic that has 88+% heat rejection (not 3M but comparable) and for 5 windows we paid $300 which was a great price. FYI if you have a Subaru the front mini window counts as a window (we misunderstood at first and thought we could get the back windows too). We got 50% for the windshield and 35% for the front side windows. They have a heat demo you can try in-store so you can feel the difference. Installation took 3 hours (one bad thing is that the waiting area smells heavily of cigarette smoke) so we got lunch and walked around nearby (but it's not the best neighborhood). There were bubbles in the film but like the guy said, they went away in a few days when it cured. Happy with the results!

I ended up getting the triple layer ceramic tint which was a little bit on the higher side of price but worth every penny especially in this Vegas heat. That's in about 90ish degree Fahrenheit weather but we will see how it performs in 100+ degree weather in the next few months. For $245 I was able to get my front driver and passenger windows tinted 35% and all of the rear windows %15 tinted on my 2011 Toyota Highlander. The tint came out clean and it makes the car look fresh you can feel the difference inside. Bring your car down to precision window tint for straight forward pricing and excellent service UPDATE AFTER 2 WEEKS This high quality is perfect for the summer heat in Las Vegas and now my car with leather interior cools down a lot faster than without the tint. HORRIFIC experience with this guy! He tinted the windows on my brand new car leaving most of the windows bubbled. The redo was even worse! A defrost grid on the rear window was damaged in two places. The whole window had to be replaced and he refused to take responsibility for his unacceptable work. I had to file a claim in court to SUE him. Thankfully the judge saw in my favor even though he LIED in court. I WON the court case. He is extremely immature and act like a CHILD instead of a business professional. He makes "Petty" sarcastic remarks but claims he is a professional. DON'T BE FOOLED by his 30yr experience claims because a TRUE businessman with that much experience wouldn't have put me through this mess. I had ALL his TACKY work removed and my car tinted by ECO tint who did an AWESOME job. The ECO tint staff was PROFESSIONAL and tinted my ENTIRE car without a single bubble! If I could give ZERO stars, I would, the 1 star is being generous! read more

Mike did an amazing job tinting all the windows on my Ford Focus ST. He is quick and efficient and offers a quality tinting job you will find nowhere else in Las Vegas. He tinted technically all 7 windows on my Focus in roughly 2 hours (would of been faster if I wasn't talking and bothering him lol). He has accumulated an abundance of skill that was quite noticeable due to how perfect he tinted my round and awkwardly shaped back window. When he left I walked around my car and was amazed at the quality of his work, it looked as if the tint was cut by a laser and perfectly placed on each window. I'd say it's around 20k miles on road trips, most of which I was awake for watching tv. Trust me, the Lord of the Rings, the entire series of Suits, and Billions helped and the longest straight stretch was about 26 hours. Thankfully FSD alarms you when it's pulling off the highway for sparks Sadly she wasn't celebrated like her family members on our White House lawn Not sure if I was going to stay in Vegas, last summer I spent it downhill mountain biking around Colorado. Racing to the lifts a rock flew out the back of a dump truck on the interstate spider cracking the windshield. That was a first. I waited until the end of summer to replace it, and I kid you not a week later, behind a lifted 4x4 three rocks took out the second. FML. Before I replaced it for a third time, I researched ways to prevent this. The car body is already covered in 3M PPF, with a 10 year Ceramic Pro coating, and I learned about product called Windshield Skin ( @windshieldskin ). Engineered to 8 and 12mil thicknesses for durability it's meant to absorb a direct hit, up to size of a silver dollar. After spending a fortune fixing the glass I didn't want to have to do that again. In Vegas only two shops dealt with how difficult this install is. I selected Fresh Detail LV ( @freshdetaillv ) and opted for the thickest custom ordered 12mil edition. Not only did they flawlessly install it, but I have a bit more confidence I won't have ( knock on wood ) to fix the glass again. I highly recommend them if you're in town. As an engineer with a bit of OCD it took forever to solve this. I share this because just like the toughest bugs we battle, our outside lives often have the same challenges. Because I love outdoor sports, I'll never drive a car I own without this on it again.
