This place is GREAT! It's simple, straight forward...WATER. The best part is that they have Alkaline water, I'm a HUGE fan of that. My husband and I used to drive all the way to Carlsbad to get alkaline water and it because such a task (we live in encinitas). We drink so much water, so having this place close by in Encinitas is pretty amazing. They take credit/debit cards too which is a huge bonus. I am so pleased that I found this store. Many of the families from where I send my kids to school also get their water here (so does the school itself). Quick for in and out fill up. Very healthy water, however I do believe the water is artificially alkaline(Ionized). So if you are looking for top tier, try naturally alkaline water which gets its PH from minerals in the passing rocks and soil. (Carlsbad Alkaline water). With that said, Living Water is also a lot more reliable for its hours of operation, as Carlsbad often closes for maintenance. Cheers read more

This water store is truly the best. It's a small gem in a shopping center that would go unnoticed if not for word of mouth. I have been going here for over a year and personally love this place. The water is delicious and the owner is a great guy. He usually helps me load the water jugs onto a cart and walk it to my car since I have a 10 month old. He is always in a great mood and runs a credit system so you can easily pick up water without exchanging money every time. Best water in North County! read more

Love, love, love the water! I started getting water here 10 years ago when it was in Cardiff and followed it to Encinitas. The water tastes like no other. We just tried the alkaline water, it is not as smooth because of the added minerals, but still better than other bottled water. The owner is so nice and helpful. We have been coming here for years and are very satisfied. In fact, my husband is on his way right now to refill 6 5-gallon containers. For a few years, we switched to alkaline water, but then we switched back to regular after my husband had health concerns that may have been related to high mineral content. I have been filling up my bottles at the Living Water store for about 6 years now. I started back when the store was at its old location. The water here is the best stuff you can get. I was buying cases of 2 liter bottles for work, etc and I did the math and realized that I could save around $300 a year just by using this water and using a refillable bottle! Furthermore, it tastes better than bottled water. Not a bad deal. My wife,son and I go through about 20 gallons a week.
