Consultation is quick and not by the doctor. He came in the room for 2-minutes to view me, then left. The assistant described the surgery is done under local anesthesia so you're awake, no thanks. An outrageous price was given, then assistant walked out and came back with a new number, it felt very car-dealership like. No follow up after consultation to see how I was doing, which spoke volumes considering my visit was due to an issue with his original work. I'm a 65-year-old woman who was ready for a big transformation -- not to look like someone else, but to feel like myself again. I started by interviewing several surgeons because I was planning to have a lot done and I wanted it to look natural. Many had great reviews and seemed capable, but Dr. Kim stood out from the very beginning. She was thoughtful, thorough, and so knowledgeable. My first consult with her lasted about an hour, and the second one went for two full hours. She took tons of notes on everything I said. I remember walking out thinking, She's the one. So, what did I have done? Quite a bit! I had a face, neck, and brow lift; fat grafting (used as filler in my facial area); lower eyelid blepharoplasty; and perioral dermabrasion on my upper lip. I was under anesthesia for around 8.5 hours. From pre-op to post-op, the process was easy to follow and honestly kind of seamless. I've had zero complications -- none. Now I'm two months out, and I feel fabulous. I think I look refreshed and natural -- not overdone at all. My scars are already fading, and I'd say I look 10 to 15 years younger. My neck was my biggest issue going in, and now it's one of my favorite results -- absolutely perfect. An unexpected perk? The fat grafting has improved my skin quality.
