Tables, bookshelves, artsy odds and ends, and even pieces for the backyard. I saw (and played with!) an amazing seesaw that was beautifully crafted out of wrought iron and wood. Nearby, I saw what was probably the most gorgeous bookshelf-with-rolling-ladder combination that I've ever seen. Amazing live edge tables were sprinkled about, each one gorgeous and unique. I particularly liked one with a fiery gas-powered centrepiece. I wish I had unlimited funding to come here and furnish my entire place. At the very least, though, I want to let you know about it. Service here was great. No hard sales, but someone came over and chit-chatted with me for a bit and offered her help. She even told me how to get on the seesaw without killing myself in the process. Thanks for that! :D It's in a bit of an odd location so you're not likely to randomly drive by it. Do yourself a favour and stop by. I doubt you will be disappointed.

When our guests notice the table, they stop mid sentence and rush over to see it. The table is so smooth and the edge is so edgy. It is exactly what we were looking for. They have lots of whimsical home decorations, kitchenware, linens, jewelry, figurines, soap, body lotion, and much more. The shop has a cozy cottage vibe. I visited there recently and thoroughly enjoyed slowly going through the shop and checking out all the charming treasures. One of the things I really liked was a Hazel Atlas children's tea set in pastel-colored milk glass from the 1940s-50s (see pic). I also saw a nice secondhand Kate Spade bag for only $42. The women working there were very friendly and chatty. I understand they get new inventory all the time, so I plan to go back soon.

I was helping my mom shop for a rectangular solid wood table with simple wooden chairs (no fabric seats), which was surprisingly hard to find in other furniture stores. Heather was quick to greet us and advise us on different options, but also gave us plenty of time and space to look around. Other stores were so pushy and focused on making a sale, but Heather felt like a friend who's goal was to share her knowledge about the different styles and materials to make sure you find your dream set. She helped us find a beautiful dining set that was the perfect color, material, style, and price! The delivery cost was one of the cheapest ($75) and they were the only store who had an option to take away your old table (for another $75 which is a steal considering other options would cost over $100 and would require coordinating with another company). Heather even asked us what type of flooring we had, so they could install the appropriate pads or feet on the table. We bought the table on Dec 20, and were about to get the table on Dec 27! Other stores wouldn't be able to deliver until January and it was the holidays. We were given a two-hour window for the delivery, and the delivery men arrived at the very beginning of the time window! Despite needing to take away our large expandable table with nine chairs through a narrow hallway before dropping off the new set, they were in and out in only about 30 mins. They also leveled the table and showed us how in case we moved the table and needed to level it again. Everyone we interacted with at California Dining and Bar Stools were phenomenal. I honestly couldn't have asked for better selection or customer service! We went to a lot of other furniture stores beforehand, and they were by far the best. Don't waste your time; go directly to California Dining and Bar Stools! You won't be disappointed.

I went inside and met this older gentleman (who seemed like he liked to drink a lot of alcohol for some reason) and he showed me around in the back. He said that the owner was not there very often, because he was always in different shows. When he is not there, the house was kept closed. I wanted so much to enter the house, but was pleased when I saw all the assortment they had in that very LONG back yard. The furniture and other items were quite dirty and dusty, but there were so many beautiful old things to see. Really old furniture with wonderful carvings and details, old wrought iron garden items, old paintings, etc. etc. I really liked going around the back yard and spent quite a bit of time there. I ended up choosing a gorgeous antique print in an equally beautiful antique carved frame. I was prepared to pay at least $50, because I was already totally in love with it, when the gentleman gave it to me for $10. I was not about to complain. I wish that the store can be open on more regular hours, so that I can see what's inside the house. The old gentleman told me that the owner kept the "really nice stuff" in there!
