I heard about living well pregnancy centers through a friend. My husband and I had found out that we were pregnant after going through a miscarriage a few months prior. As we were both nervous we decided to confirm the pregnancy through the center, they were kind, warm, caring, and made sure that we felt loved and welcomed. After confirming our pregnancy they also set up a ultrasound with us where we finally got to see our little baby and hear their heartbeat. They help and provide you with tons of resources and information to allow you to prepare for your pregnancy. I heard my baby's heartbeat for the first time here and now she's two weeks old. They are so incredibly kind and truly caring people, they have their basis in faith and wanting to help people. The negative reviews are so far from the truth, they are 100% fake written by disgusting people. Yes, this location is anti-abortion but that's how it should be! I came here to confirm my pregnancy 3 weeks ago but I was 5wks so it was too early so I was asked to come back 3 wks later (today) and I am 8wks 2days. I got asked to put a deposit of $20 that I got back today. The only thing I didn't like was that I had to wait 30mins when I had an appointment at 10am and I just had to wait around but I get that they can be busy. The doctor was really nice and when I got the ultrasound the ladies there were super nice especially because I was alone since husband had to work. The experience here was great and I'm super thankful for them. I would totally recommend them and I personally loved that they prayed for baby and my family. This place is great. read more

I really loved this place! I had called another location and after being turned away, I found Living Well. From the first call the girls were very helpful and nice. I got scheduled to confirm the pregnancy and and then scheduled for a free ultrasound with a $20 deposit, refunded after the appointment is kept and completed. Less than 10 minutes later, a woman called me and asked if I needed assistance and proceeded to give me instructions on when to come in on Monday. I emailed them inquiring about their abortion services regarding an at risk pregnancy and they asked me to go in to consider my options, without indicating that they do not offer abortion as a service. This is a telltale sign of a CPC, or crisis pregnancy center, which is designed to try to prevent women from getting abortions. If you look at their website, they offer several startling facts about abortion but do not note any positive effects related to it. They claim to give unbiased information so women are informed, but even their FAQ section only contains negative rhetoric regarding abortion. Their emailnever indicated if they offered it as a service, just that I should "come in." If you want guilt free healthcare that does not manipulate women-- do not go here! Here's a quote from their site: "Please take your time in making this life changing and irreversible decision. Your circumstances may lead you believe you cannot go through with your pregnancy. However, take time to explore ALL the options without assuming abortion is your only choice." The use of "life changing" and irreversible" carry a tone of doom that encourages women to see abortion in a totally negative light. This is a subtle, but sinister tactic. Also ironic considering having and raising a child is a life changing, irreversible decision. The next sentence contains the phrase "may lead you to believe" indicating that a pregnant person cannot actually determine whether or not they are capable of carrying a fetus to term. This is gaslighting. I also encourage you to visit the FAQs for adoption which are generally positive--another clear bias. If you move to the birth control/ contraception section, you'll notice other perplexing rhetoric that, if examined closely, carries the same harmful effects of persuading you not to choose it. Also, at the end, it says they cannot prescribe birth control. I could go into more detail about this, but I assume people don't want to read an essay. Bottom line, if you don't want to give/have an abortion--that's fine. But you should not use your position as a 'medical' institution to promote your own agenda. Be wary of places like this and always do your research. I agree that it is important to be informed about all your options--including unbiased, neutral facts that do not favor one option over another. read more

They will use every psychological trick in the book to try to influence your decision while maintaining a nice facade to try to lull you into a false sense of security. Their goal is clear. Regardless of your circumstances, they will try to influence you to choose life without directly saying it. Heavily religious organization. It is fine to have these beliefs, but to pretend to be open and welcoming to people regardless of their choice is incredibly misleading. Further, we made an appointment for a pregnancy test and an ultrasound. When we got there, the person told us she could not perform the ultrasound and would only be performing the pregnancy test. We thought we would be finding out how far along we were that day, we already knew we were pregnant. Wasted our time while also being forceful and refusing to listen to us and why we had made the choice we made made the whole experience horrible. Please, if you appreciate that it is a woman's personal choice of what she does with her pregnancy, do not support this place. read more

I have had two children already and now on my third with my busy schedule they were able to give me a prompt appointment, quicker than anyone else I called was able, and scheduled my ultrasound just 2 days later. The staff was extremely kind, helpful, showed genuine care and interest for my situation and children, listened to me and gave counsel without judgement, gave me some much needed baby supplies and showed me the best customer service I have ever received in any medical clinic. This place really deserves more credit and recognition- fantastic staff, great business practice and procedure and the atmosphere is overall very welcoming. If you are looking to pass on any baby items and want to make sure someone that can use them will get them, donate your items to this place, they really do give back to the community! read more

My husband I and came in not knowing how far along we were. I was 18 weeks. The whole staff was amazing and took really great care of us. It was such a blessing to be able to have all the love and support in the room when we first heard our baby girl's heart beat and saw her moving around during the ultrasound. A couple of years ago my husband and I came here to find out if we were pregnant. We got a positive result and were offered an ultrasound to check and make sure everything was ok. All done right then and there. We walked out with peace of mind, pictures of the baby and a bag filled with baby stuff. However after such a wonderful first experience, im sad to say things aren't so great there anymore. I had been trying to get an appointment to come in and confirm my pregnancy and get my first ultrasound via their online appointment setting. After multiple attempts with no response I called during business hours only for the phone to ring off the hook. The next day, now a week of trying to make an appointment I called again and this very rude, very sarcastic woman answers. I think her name was Carla or Cara. I told her I had sent multiple requests for an ultrasound via the website but no one got back to me and id really like to come in to get some peace of mind. She scoffed at me and was like well we r very busy! I told her I understand, I just really need proof of pregnancy for my insurance so I can get to an ob and so I can make sure everything is ok with the baby. She said she could see me in two weeks to do the urine test but that she doesn't do ultrasounds same day. I told her that missing work twice in two weeks was not something I could afford to do and with my daughter they did everything same day. She again got sarcastic and said well I do things differently now and like ive already said we r very busy. I was getting sick of her rudeness and said it makes no scene to make someone come in pee on a stick then wait a week to come back to see if the baby is ok. She became even more sarcastic and was like "like I've already said I no longer do it that way". I told her it is obvious she isn't there to help ppl and has a horrible attitude. Then hung up on her. I googled free pregnancy testing and this place in Huntington Beach came up "horizon pregnancy clinic" I called them that afternoon and the girl made me appointment the next morning 10 am. They did the pregnancy test an ultrasound and gave me so much information. They also let my 3 year old go into their shop and get a bag of goodies for the new baby. They were so friendly, the clinic was incredibly clean and they made me feel so at ease. I walked out with peace of mind, my proof of pregnancy, pictures of baby, and a bag of stuff for the baby.
