The service was fast and friendly and easy everyone made me feel so comfortable this is not my first pregnancy but i had such a great experience with Ms. Rosemary and my ultrasound was very gentle my husband was able to come in and see the baby's heartbeat. The Nurse Practitioner, Jessica Ekstrom and Ultrasound Tech, Monique seemed genuinely excited about my husband and I having a baby girl. I felt so loved and celebrated by them. They were kind, gracious, and professional. They were very accommodating when I was running late and had to bring my son to the appointment. Dr. Ekstrom and the Obria staff are so wonderful. I visited the Obria clinic for a dating ultrasound earlier this year! The whole staff was super kind and welcoming. The ultrasound tech was super patient - after an over the belly scan wasn't showing enough detail, the tech calmly switched to a transvaginal scan and we were able to see baby and heartbeat very clearly :) I would highly recommend this clinic for all your woman's health needs! read more

I'm so happy I found this place! I had made an appointment with them, but totally thought it was at 9:30 instead of the actual time -- 9, but I called right away when they opened and they told me they would still be able to see me if I was able to get there in 12 minutes. Thank goodness! There were no wait times, just some forms to fill out and then they take you in. I forgot what her name was, but the girl in the front was super nice along with the nurse, Kathy. They make you feel as if you're right at home. They're friendly, supportive and informative. I was able to qualify for the ultrasound, which nurse Kathie did both internal and external for me, baby is 8 weeks so it was a bit hard to see, but she did manage to get a small clip of the baby wiggling its feet! Haha. I could tell her she took her time and made sure she got some pictures for me to take home. The clinic was very clean and nice inside. It didn't seem like a clinic, more like a home which gave off more of a welcoming feeling. After my appointment, and even during, they offered me a lot of information, fliers and brochures about pregnancy. Right when I was about to leave, they even took out a basket of baby blankets and beanies for me to pick out of. If you don't have insurance for the time being, this place is a wonderful place to get checked up on. They don't do prenatal care, but I'm sure many moms-to-be will be happy to see their little ones. I am so very impressed & happy with my recent experience here. The entire staff is so caring & loving, they make you feel so comfortable. I already knew I was pregnant going into this appointment BUT I didn't know I was further along than I thought & I was able to get that confirmed with an ultrasound of my baby. I saw the baby move and it's little heart beat... they sent me home with lots of pictures of baby and also a folder with lots of information about pregnancy & baby. I made an appointment to get an ultrasound done, and we were able to see my little baby, but they then did a vaginal ultrasound so they could get a better view since i was only 7 weeks pregnant and it was a little hard to see. They take that extra step to provide you with the best service. They gave me tons of information and answered all of my questions. What I really loved about this clinic is that they made me feel confortable. The clinic is very clean and I didnt have to wait at all, I just filled out a few papers, and once I was done I was called right in. I am so glad I found this clinic. Everything was free, the ultrasound plus all the STD tests (if you want to get them done) were free, and not having insurance at the time, this definitely helped a lot. read more

Also, if the pregnancy test is positive, you can opt for a free ultrasound as well. They also offer free STD testing. Everything is no charge and they will also refer you to physicians and health insurance programs and WIC if you are interested. The staff and volunteers here are all caring, non-judgmental and professional. Another thing I love about this place is that unlike so many places in the medical world these days, you are not just an account or a number. The people here are friendly and really care about their patients and want to make sure they make the right decision and are informed about their own health. I went to this clinic knowing I was pregnant and wanted to get an ultrasound. I was having a very uneasy pregnancy and going through a hard time. Immediately coming here the ladies were amazing. Everyone here is so caring and friendly. The place is very comforting and they are super informative and just all around good people. They went above and beyond and after I left there seeing my baby and heartbeat they still called me for the next two weeks just to check in and see how my pregnancy was going. When I landed on the website of Whittier Pregnancy Care Clinic it looked like a full service pregnancy care clinic. I am disappointed to say that it is not, because they do not offer, or refer you for, abortion service, if that is your choice. Nor, apparently, do they provide any contraception. And it appears that for STD testing they refer you to a Public Health Center. read more

I heard about the WPCC about over 3 years ago from a friend of mine who's 17 year old daughter just found out she was pregnant. The young lady was undecided whether she was going to keep the baby or not and after getting an ultrasound and seeing the baby in her stomach, she decided to keep the baby. I have then sent 4 women there to get ultrasounds. One young lady who is very precious to me found out she was pregnant and told me she was going to abort the baby and was being pressured by her family not to have the baby. I made an appointment with WPCC to get an ultrasound and had her bring her mother along. She thought she was only 8 weeks pregnant and when she got the ultrasound, she found out that she was actually 13 1/2 weeks pregnant. After her mother saw the baby moving around, she was overwhelmed with excitement. That young lady gave birth to a very healthy baby girl this last Easter and she is doing very well. WPCC has made an impact to those who i love dearly and by donating their time and giving FREE ultrasounds, and great counsel, there are lives being saved. I am so grateful to them and their services. I went in on Tuesday knowing I was pregnant, I needed advice and help on finding doctors. I was still in the process of being accepted for medi-cal so they gave me the confirmation of pregnancy I needed to be accepted. They gave me a list of doctors they recommended that accepted medi-cal, along with information on what to eat and what not to eat. What helps when your nauseous, all kinds of helpful information during pregnancy. I was so happy when I got to see the baby during the ultrasound. I knew I was pregnant from positive home pregnant tests but it was still so surreal to me until I saw the heartbeat and the baby it was so exciting and I guess made it a little more real to me. They gave me pictures to take home and gave me a baby blanket! Everyone there was so nice and down to earth. Unfortunately my boyfriend was unable to make it so they scheduled another appointment so he could see too! Our next appointment is in a couple weeks that way the baby is a little bigger and we can see more of the little one. I'm only 7weeks so the baby was really tiny. Can't wait to see the little guy/gal. You should definitely check this place out they were soo helpful. read more
