My husband and I came in to try the cryotherapy. We are a big believer in self-care and wellness so an easier option to cold plunges are a driver. Cryotherapy has been around since the 1800s, but was officially discovered by a Japanese rheumatologist in the 1970s. Cold therapy has been around for years, but being able to condense a treatment to 3 mins and help everything. I definitely wanted to try this. In addition to cryotherapy, we tried Restore's core services which include compression, red light therapy, and infrared sauna. The infrared sauna was one of my favorite core services especially since my husband and I could do this together. Most services you can do by yourself or with another person. After our first day, we signed up for a week of unlimited services. We wanted to evaluate the benefits with a week long of working out. We definitely saw an increase of energy, restful sleep, and better skin! Everyone at Restore is so kind and helpful! There was no pressure to purchase more or commit to a membership, which made me want to come back!

The pictures show the reality (there was a previous picture of a big rusted hole in a women's locker, that was reported 9 months ago and is still there!) Buckets and towels all over the place when it rains, holes in the drywall above the walking track, stained ceilings, etc. They say the pool is heated, it's always really cold (Someone posted that on face book and they took down that comment immediately, they do that with negative comments). They also say that the place is cleaned every evening, you might want to get a refund and find a new cleaner! The owners are very rude and the manager can be rude at times also. The gym members are typically older and have been going there for years, yet they are putting on new classes aimed at the younger crowd! And don't get me started on the smell, it hits you as soon as you walk in the door, smells like someone or something died in there and it also smells of mold. And no air conditioning. Very surprised the city has not shut this place down! So, if you are looking for a slightly higher prices gym, that is dirty, run down and smelly with no air conditioning, this is the place to do. Don't believe me, just go and tour the place.

Scheduling is a NIGHTMARE. They could not accommodate me around my work schedule. The hours they…read moreclaim to be open have zero availability when you attempt to schedule. I could not get in during the summer when I was off work and staying in the area, and they don't take Groupon customers on Saturdays, which you don't find out until after the purchase when you go to schedule online. There were no Friday appointments as stated to me on the phone when someone called to tell me I could not have a Saturday appointment I had just made. When I asked the hours, I was told Friday until 7 PM, but good luck finding that time shown on the scheduling page. I looked all the way into 2016. I emailed and explained my situation, and the office manager kept trying to schedule me during work times, even after explanation about school starting. I finally got a notification that they could fit me in on September 8th at 6:15. Even though this was the very first day of school and would take me well over an hour to get there, I agreed. I received a confirmation on Monday and another 2 hours before my appointment. I was there at 6:05...to a closed office. When you call, you only get voice mail. I left a message, but no one had the courtesy to call me back with an explanation and apology. Groupon did the right thing and refunded my money. In addition to my experience, my boyfriend's mom bought a Groupon the same day as I did. Her appointments keep getting canceled with no explanation via text messages. This is a pretty shady business, if you ask me. Got a phone call today while I was, ironically, getting a massage. In this VM, Michelle claims that ALL clients were contacted by phone that all appointments were canceled due to the start of school. Um, NOT this client. She did offer to throw in an extra massage for free...during school hours. This was my response: I received a phone call today from Michelle. She claimed that everyone who had an appointment on 9/8 was contacted about cancellations. I, however, was NOT contacted and made the over an hour drive to Livonia on the first day of school because it is IMPOSSIBLE to get an appointment here. This all stared in July or early August when my boyfriend's mom and I attempted to make Saturday appointments. No sooner had we scheduled when I received a phone call telling me that Saturday appointments are not feasible. I attempted to make an appointment prior to school starting with no luck. I attempted to schedule a Friday evening appointment after being told by Mary or NIcole that you are open until 7 PM on Fridays. I tried all the way into 2016...no luck. I contacted you. Mary got back with me. She kept trying to schedule me during school times. EVEN AFTER BEING TOLD MULTIPLE TIMES I was returning to work. She finally scheduled me for the first day of school. I was not thrilled about it because, as a teacher, you can imagine the amount of work I have after meeting my students for the first time and collecting all of the paper work that went home the week before. Regardless, I made the drive down to Livonia only to find a CLOSED sign. Might I also add that I have TWO confirmations from you. An email was sent at 6:17 PM on 9/7, and a text was received JUST TWO HOURS before my appointment. I am at a total loss as to how you can CLAIM that ALL clients were contacted by phone when, CLEARLY, I was not.
