One of the best cinnamon rolls I've had for a long time! While we were there, we also picked up a specialty brownie, a blueberry cake doughnut, and a muffin for the road. We also noticed that they had a breakfast sandwich. We grabbed one of those. It was on a bagel and just hit the spot. We will definitely go back here if we are back in this neck of the woods.

We were out exploring the area when we stumbled across this charming little bakery run by a group of Amish girls. The moment you walk through the door, your senses go into overdrive. The smell of freshly baked pies, cookies, breads, and pastries fills the air, and I swear I started drooling before I even reached the display case. As I quickly learned, "walking in here with self-control is like bringing a snowball to Florida." It simply doesn't exist! Mine certainly didn't. I ended up leaving with two peach fry pies, a loaf of cheddar jalapeño bread, and a glazed donut. My wife chose one of their giant fresh-baked pretzels with cream cheese. It was served warm and was absolutely delicious. Then I dug into the glazed donut, and wow--light, fluffy, and it practically melted in my mouth. This was our first visit, but there's no doubt we'll be back. In fact, I can easily see us becoming regulars. A quick heads-up: they accept cash or checks, but no credit cards, so plan accordingly. Country Crust also has a cute little café area where they serve pizzas and sandwiches. From what I saw, those sandwiches were absolutely ginormous. I didn't order one this time, but trust me, the brisket on a pretzel bun and the Reuben both have my name written all over them for a future visit. If you're anywhere near Bainbridge and have a sweet tooth--or just appreciate great homemade baked goods--do yourself a favor and make the drive. Now they are a little better. They are bigger and seem fresher. They are soft and taste great. The filled donuts are definitely filled. You get some of the filling in every bite. Let's talk about the apple fritters and the cinnamon rolls. They are huge! My pictures are not optical illusions. They really are bigger than my hand. Just the size is impressive but the taste is equally impressive. Again, these are wonderful! Now for the Pizza. The pizza is awesome! We had the thin crust half sausage and half pepperoni. There was plenty of sauce, cheese, and toppings. Look at my pictures. Plenty of toppings. The pizza is really, really good. Pine Trees pizza in my opinion is way better than the chain pizza places and rival any of the mom and pop places in Chillicothe. With the pizza we also got a small order of chicken strips. I'm not sure how these were cooked. It tastes like either microwaved or air fried. The chicken strips were nothing to brag about. We stop in here every time we're in town. We look forward to it. I'm glad they kept the same recipe and improved on it for the donuts. They are great! If you're ever driving through the small town of Londonderry, stop in and give Pine Tree Cafe a try. It was sour, acidic and burnt our mouth with a sickening turn your stomach smell (that we could only smell with the lid off). On top of the food not being all that great, the service isn't very pleasant to deal with. If I had it my way, pine tree wouldn't get half a star. Unfortunately I didn't take a picture before taking it back to get a refund. But with the lid off, it looked like a thick layer of lumpy coco powder with a mix of ammonia.
