The best pizza I ever tasted outside Italy this place is great and food is served quick

Pizza was nasty. I ordered the meat lover pizza and it was gross. The pizza was overcooked. Cheese and all the meat was falling off the pizza. This little place, hidden behind the 7-11 on the corner, is phenomenal. We've lived right around the corner for the last two years and we were lucky enough to find this place during the pandemic?! Did I say it was phenomenal? We ordered the Greek salad, mozzarella sticks, pizza and cannolis for dinner tonight. The salad was so fresh and crispy, the dressing was so nice! The pizza was delicious - toasty hot, tasty crust, and great sauce. The toppings were so fresh. The cannolis were so fresh- like they filled them right before we got there. The mozzarella sticks and marinara were so tasty - my only complaints are that there wasn't enough marinara to drown the pizza crust and I am soooo dumb for not having gotten here sooner. Yum! I loved the pizza here. We got a medium pepperoni pizza and an order of fried calamari, carry out. Both were delicious. I had never been before so didn't realize it was cash only. That was a bummer because I didn't have cash on me so I had to make a trip to the ATM. I just wish when I ordered they would let you know. Two stars because it was hot and quick? In the jungle, some animals eat their own young. It is quite a shame the mother of the reviewer who said this did not take that option. The food here is fantastic. We have had four different pizzas, all of which cause me pain. But that is only because it is so good, I can't stop eating. Seriously. On top of that, if you eat in the restaurant, it's byob, so not only am I paying $20 for a $20 bottle of wine (that I bring), but they will happily open it for you and supply the glasses. Did I mention the food is kickass? It is said that in Pompeii, the rich would eat, purposefully vomit, then eat again, just to enjoy their meal twice (and to prove they could afford it). I'm not rich, but this pizza is almost good enough to try that. read more

Some of the other reviews said it but I didn't read them in advance but the pizza isn't good. It's a shame because I'm sure the other menu items are. The staff was great so it makes it harder to write a less than great review but the ingredients in the pizza really just were subpar. Try another menu item. read more

Fantastic little restaurant off Mid Cities Blvd. in Euless featuring some of the best Italian food I've ever had the pleasure of enjoying. Great prices, food, and ambiance, but BYOB and cash only. Lobster ravioli and all of their pizza offerings are standouts worth your time. Well worth the visit. read more

This is the only place you will be able to find authentic Italian pizza for miles, maybe even in the DFW area. Growing up in the PA/NY area, Italian food is the rule of the land with pizza places on every corner. It is such a comfort to have found this hidden gem, located around the corner of a gas station, you would never expect a slice of Italy to be there. The pizza is absolutely delicious, the sauce a perfect tomato concoction and the bread is to die for. I have been back a second time and ordered the greek salad and two cannoli's, which were a little overdone, however, I was on such a pizza high that I have labeled it as only a minor incident. The price of the pies are a great value, family friendly and sure to go a long way if you're looking to feed a crowd. The menu is small with limited options but most of your usual toppings and classic Italian dishes are available. A family owned establishment, you can eat well and feel great knowing you are also supporting a local business, especially since you will never get a pie like this from any chain. read more

We got a greek salad and 2 pizzas for carry out during our vacation. We all liked the food, the salad dressing was great, lettuce could have been better/fresher but still ok,lots of feta cheese on there. The pizza was pretty good, a little greasy but I used a napkin to blot it. The amount of food for the price was great. Large pizzas are actually large, unlike other places where a large is more like a medium nowadays. You can eat-in but it's a tiny little place. read more

Just moved to the area from NY (buffalo region) and wanted some good pizza. This place is only half a mile down the road from us so it was perfect location. Everything so far we have ordered has been very good. It still tastes just as good the day after for left overs. My biggest complaint is that they only take cash! This was not the biggest problem as the 7-11 next to it has an ATM, but the person on the phone did not mention it and there is no sign on the building that states cash only. If there is it isn't in a good location. If you go to sit and eat in the restaurant make sure you have some on you. Other then that the pizza was cooked well, and good service. Being somewhat new to the area, I spotted the sign for this quaint, neighborhood pizza joint and I was curious to try their pizza as we don't see many independent operators these days. We called in for delivery, hoping our first try wouldn't arrive cold. When I called in, the young person on the phone was courteous and helpful. He told me the pizza would be here in 35 minutes and it actually came a little early. The driver was friendly and polite. The pizza was hot and delicious! We kept it simple for our trial run with a plain pepperoni. The crust was crispy but not overdone. The cheese was amazing, and the sauce and pepperoni ratio was perfect! We will definately be ordering again and we can't wait to actually go to the restaurant and try some of their other dishes as well. Congratulations on making it in this franchise driven world! Definitely a hole in the wall. Ordered calamari, mozzarella sticks and margarita pizza. They were all cooked to order. Calamari and mozzarella sticks were hot and crispy. XL pizza was huge and really good. Brought our own bottle of wine which was definitely a plus. I gave it 4 stars cuz after we asked for to go box cuz we couldn't finish our pizza, the waiters kept coming to our table about 4 times checking if we were ready to pay. It got a little annoying cuz we were still finishing our wine. Yes it was a Friday night, but there's still empty tables and nobody's waiting to dine in. If there were, then we get it and would be considerate enough to just hurry up and leave. But like I said there were about 4 empty tables still and no group or anything waiting to sit and dine. Just cuz we asked for our to go box doesn't mean we were ready to leave. So we just let them wait and finish our bottle of wine and when we were done that's when we decided to pay. I think it's fair enough that customers are allowed to finish their meal and their drinks. Also a little inconvenient that it's cash only. It's 2019. A little warm inside the restaurant. No air circulation whatsoever. And could use major interior decoration. Overall, food that we ordered were great. Waiters just need to work on their service and manners a tad bit. read more

Our son treated us to Lizzano's for the first time as it's a regular for him & we can see why. He told us the pasta dishes as well as the pizza were all good & we couldn't go wrong. We finally decided upon the Supreme pizza to share & we couldn't have been more pleased. The ingredients were not only fresh, but the sauce & the crust were some of the best we'd ever had. I usually do not care for Supreme pizzas, but I may just have found my new favorite. Also, the bread was very good & served hot & our waitress couldn't have been more accomodating & efficient. Just a reminder it has limited seating, but they do offer delivery & I cannot forget to mention the low, low prices which are unbelievable for this quality of food. I've been eating from Tony and Shenka, the owners and operators, for over 15 years. They've had this restaurant for just a short while, but previously operated Amore restaurant in Colleyville, which they sold in the late 1990's before temporarily returning to Europe. (Amore has continuously operated under different ownership since that time.) Back in the mid-to-late 1990's, when Tony and Shenka were in charge, it was ranked as the best pizza in the area by the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. In my opinion, the food at their restaurants has always been superior to similar pizza joints in the metroplex, and there quite a few good, independently-owned pizzerias in the area. My favorite item is the stromboli which is made fresh daily with loads of mozzarella, pepperoni, sausage, and fresh mushrooms. (You can special order them with other ingredients if you prefer.) I get one every time I come back to town. The pizza is also incredible; simple NY-style crust with a variety of fresh toppings and a very flavorful sauce. The sauce has been adjusted slightly for regional preferences, but if you ask, they will make the flavor more intense with additional garlic, oregano, and other herbs/spices added. I prefer it this way, but most in the area don't. Whatever your preference, though, it's going to be good. A great deal are the lunch specials offered from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM daily. For $4.95, not a typo, you can get a decent-sized portion of lasagna, manicotti, cannelloni, spaghetti, or a combination pasta plate, each of which come with salad and homemade bread that is served with a homemade dipping sauce of olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic, and herbs from their personal garden. It's an incredible deal that, at roughly the same price as fast-food, is a far-superior meal. Their prices are more-than reasonable with an 18-inch cheese-only pie currently $10.95 and most additional toppings $1.25 each. There are also many specialty pizzas, most of which I have never tried. I stick mostly to the tried-and-true combinations; bell peppers and mushrooms, pepperoni and mushrooms, etc...and have never been disappointed. I have, though, tried the White Pizza, which is the regular crust topped with ricotta and mozzarella cheeses with garlic and tomatoes -without- any kind of sauce, and it is one of my favorites as well. It's a small restaurant with limited space for dining in, but takeout is available, as well as delivery in the evenings. The food is great, the staff is friendly, the owners take pride in what they are serving, and the prices are affordable. There's really no reason for you not to try it! read more

Only been here once and this place is a pretty nice gem in Euless. They get a lot of good reviews and I can see why. They have a very nice unique, family-owned, back-home, homemade feel to it. From what I remember they only deal with cash, which is a smart business move but inconvenient if you're like me and rarely carry cash and use cards for everything. The owners and employees are very friendly and have great hospitality. Good environment to bring family or friends. They're usually pretty packed when I go in there, and it's a small location as is. So yeah business is doing well so far in Euless. Pizza is made EXTREMELY fresh, like drippy and melty. I brought a pie home and my family went crazy with compliments and praise. Which they rarely do. So they did something right. But it DID take them a while to make it, but I can understand why, they made it so fresh. So def want to check out this place again soon.
