This home town restaurant is in an unassuming strip mall. You would never notice it unless you had Yelp guiding you. Paul H. found this place and suggested we check it out because our fellow Yelp friends seemed to enjoy so much. Now keep in mind- this place is excellent for carb loading for cheap- it's not the best place for you if you're on a diet so be prepared mentally. I wanted lasagna and cheesy bread. The cheesy bread was pretty damn good. It's honestly really simple but it transform when you dip it into the lasagna's salty sauce. The lasagna was flavorful and meaty but it was a little salty for my taste. I wouldn't eat it without their bread. I was curious about their pizza so we ordered a slice of pepperoni to try. I learned of this restaurant while scanning Yelp during a business trip to AA headquarters in Fort Worth. I've lost track of how many times I've had a meal here in the past 6 months. Always excellent food. Tony and family (a real "mom n pop business) keep things basic, which is OK with me. I don't need pretentious chain bling. My 2 favorites are the Vegetarian pizza and the Spinach Ravioli. While I do eat meat and usually have it at most meals, these 2 dishes are fantastic. Lizzano's is BYOB and cash only. I don't leave a whole lot of reviews unless a restaurant is remarkable (bad or good) and Lizzano's was fantastic! On this first trip we ordered a Cesar salad, spaghetti and cheese pizza. They first brought out some incredible bread and oil to dip it in. The cesar salad was above average with good, quality ingredients. The spaghetti was also above average, the sauce had good flavor and was not swimming in it. Finally the cheese pizza was great. I've been to several pizza places in Colleyville that cost almost twice as much, and I think Lizzano's was better! The food truly was good, but what made it stand apart was the mom and pop feel (cuz it is) and the very low prices. Highly recommend checking the place out, plus its BYOB so bring your fav drink! The wife and I were in the mood for a new place and decided to give Lizzano's a shot based on the great reviews. All I can say is that we both agreed completely with the reviews.The food was simply amazing. Normally there is something to complain about, but I had no complaints with any of the food. Great bread, and even the herb infused olive oil was great. My wife normally hates all things olive, but loved the olive oil with the herb blend. We tried the spaghetti with Italian sausage and Ziti Bolognese, both of which were better than anything I've had outside of Italy. We liked it so much that we ordered a pizza to go so we could try something later. Unsurprisingly, it turned out to be amazing too. The most surprising thing about Lizzano's was the value. With 2 meals and an xlarge pizza the total was still just $30 - best value in the area even if the food wasn't so good. Given how good the food actually was, the value is even more astonishing. The only complaint we had is the location. They are located in a small strip mall on Fuller-wiser: not exactly convenient for anyone outside the immediate neighborhood. The restaurant itself is also a little plain, with nothing more than a few pictures on the wall to try to provide any atmosphere. If it was any plainer, it would feel like a school cafeteria. Lizzano's has clearly chosen to focus on the food, almost completely ignoring the atmosphere. Not that this is necessarily a bad thing, but if you're looking for a place with a great atmosphere to take a client or a large group you'll need to pass this place over. read more

Lizzano's makes it really difficult not to indulge in pasta, which I haven't done in years - but it is so darn tasty here I just can't help myself. Not to mention - chocolate bread pudding with chocolate sauce! It calls my name all too frequently. I am lucky to have such a wonderful Italian family-owned restaurant so close to home. Lizzano's serves an amazing Greek Salad with a signature basil dressing that's so yummy, you will be challenged not to pick up your bowl and lick it clean. Pretty unique and delish, as is their tomato based dressing which I recently bought a jar of for around the house. I also find their Italian Wedding Soup and Tomato Basil Soup very good and filling. Of special note, they have evening specials that usually includes a fish dish or two with fresh veggies (if avoiding pasta). Prices are very reasonable but remember to bring cash (cash only, no credit). Best part, BYOB! Great spot, though small, to meet with friends and enjoy a causal atmosphere with home-cooked Italian food. Even if you're not a bread pudding fan, you should try it once. read more

This is literally my favorite pizza place in the whole world. When I used to live in Euless I probably ordered from here at LEAST once a week. My usual order was the Margarita pizza and the spaghetti and meat sauce. The pizza was the best New York style pizza I have ever eaten to this day. The sauce was robust with a great aftertaste that keeps you wanting more and anticipating your next bite. It is aromatic and complex and not just plain tomato like everyone else's sauce. The pizzas are covered in a mouth watering amount of cheese, and the slices are large and floppy. The crust is thin, slightly crispy, but is still soft and chewy. Seriously the memories of this pizza are making me drool onto my keyboard right now. Now, my usual order always included spaghetti and meat sauce, but I have tried many of their other pasta dishes and every single one was amazing. I'm usually a fairly picky spaghetti eater. I tend to think that most restaurants' meat sauce just tastes like tomato sauce with some ground beef and a few spices added. Lizzano's meat sauce on the other hand tastes like its been stewing for days. The meat flavor is rich, complex and full bodied. Every bite leaves you wanting more. This is probably half the reason why I was so chubby during my time in Euless.(Ive lost tons of weight since then...go me!) The rest of the house pastas have the same great sauce but are also covered in a great bubbling layer of gooey cheese. The kind that stretches like in the cartoons. Everything here tastes homemade and Ive never been to any other place with the same quality and consistency. Also, every order comes with fresh baked garlic bread and Parmesan and crushed red pepper. What a great little added bonus. Now, here's the best part. Not only do they have some of the best pizza and pasta I've ever tasted, but it's also ridiculously inexpensive. This is the cheapest little hole in the wall Italian place Ive ever come across, and serendipitously also the best hands down.This place is a diamond in the rough and if you're lucky enough to find yourself here (or ordering from here), Im officially jealous of you. Lizanno's Delivers to the Hyatt Regency DFW! I put this right up front because if you are attending a convention at the Hyatt Regency, you know that you can't (and don't want to) eat every meal in the hotel restaurant and that there are precious few places that deliver (often with ridiculously high delivery charge) Lizanno's delivery minimum is $10 and if they have a delivery fee it is only a few bucks, but you'll have to remember 1 slightly inconvenient thing - They only take cash I ordered from Lizanno's twice while in DFW and tried many of their offerings: the cheese pizza; a specialty pizza with chicken, garlic and tomato and artichoke (in a red sauce, not the one in ranch) the garlic bread with cheese, and the Chicken Murphy. The pizza's were all great. New York style crust, nice flavor, real mozzarella, sauce a little sweet and very tasty. The Chicken Murphy was also amazing with a pink sauce, a bit spicy, with tender, pounded chicken that melts in your mouth. The prices are insanely inexpensive too. XL pizza was like $13 Pasta Dinner with Garlic Bread was $10 This place had really good food at super fair prices and they deliver. If they would only step into the future and begin taking credit cards, they would be a 5 start establishment. Order from them next time you are in the DFW area. You won't regret it. read more

Read all the Yelp reviews and was a little worried it wouldn't meet my expectations and they were pretty high due to all the great reviews. I can't exactly pinpoint what it was that I love so much about this pizza but it was so flavorful and perfect in so many ways! I'm a bit of a pizza holic and quite a critic of pizza. So much pizza and so little crust but still enough to enjoy the delicious crust they do have! Tucked away in a little shopping center in the north side of Euless is this little gem. It's easy to overlook. I've lived in this area for nearly five years and never paid any attention to this little joint. When my friend recommended it for pizza, I was hesitant about coming here; it's cash only and BYOB. I tried some of the pizza which was okay, but I ordered their special of the day which was cheese ravioli in a creamy sauce. It was absolutely delicious. My son who'd already eat a couple of slices of pizza actually stole my plate away and finished it off! This is not your regular neighborhood Italian restaurant with the standard in the box garlic rolls. There is definitely some love going into the food that is made here and you can taste it. I'm originally from Philadelphia. When I moved to Euless eight years ago, I was in for a huge culture shock. You see, back in Philly, you can find a little local mom n pop pizza place on every corner. We are drowning in pizza. But here in Euless...well, I had very few choices that weren't the major Domino's, Papa's, The Hut. I was wandering through a pizza desert. Then I found Lizzano's. I admit, I have had nothing but the pizza there. The pizza reminds me of home. Thin crust, doughy delicious edge, foldable, cheesy, a thin swath of sauce. It's home. I've only found one place better and that's in Dallas, which is too far to go on a regular basis. So, when I need my Northeast style pizza fix, it is inevitably Lizzano's. They only take cash, which as a small business owner I totally understand, so hit up the ATM before you go. Ask 'em to sprinkle a little oregano over the top. Trust me, you'll like it. read more

I went to this restaurant for the first time yesterday for lunch. It's a small restaurant located in a tiny off the beaten path strip center. I went with two other people and we all had the $4.95 lunch special. The meal came with freshly made bread and a generous portion salad. There are a few different entree choices but we all had spaghetti. It was delicious with perfectly seasoned sauce and meatballs. The portions were huge and only one of us (me) was able to finish the entire meal. The $4.95 price is pretty amazing. The service was friendly and very attentive. I work nearby and have eaten at most of the other Italian restaurants in the area. I would not put any of them in the same category as this place. Lizzano's has a great casual atmosphere and I plan to make the drive from Denton to come back for dinner. It's BYOB so you can bring your own bottle of wine. read more

I was so excited to try this place when i read the amazing reviews on yelp. So we ordered delivery - Greek Salads, Eggplant park, chicken alfredo, cheesecake, and bread pudding. I was so excited when the first bite of greek salad lived up to every expectation i had. We both agreed it was hands down the best greek salad ever! Plus hot baked yeast rolls .... YUMMY! The truth of rumors regarding the salad made me very excited to dig in to the eggplant. The first bite was great and then i started getting an odd tingle in my mouth. Each bite it got worse and worse till my mouth felt like i had eaten a bowl of vinegar. My husband had the same experience, i'm not sure what caused it but it was a bummer. The alfredo was good, it wasn't as heavy as a lot of alfredos but was bland and needed something to give it pizzaz. Then it was dessert time. The cheesecake was good - it seemed store bought so nothing to write home about. The chocolate bread pudding was bland and had raisins (i think they were raisins) that gave it an odd fruity taste at times. We are going to go back for sure at least for that amazing salad and next time will try the margarita pizza that everyone is crazy about. read more

This my my italian go to place for lunch lately becase it of their $4.95 lunch special.. I get the lasagna or past combo.. It comes with thir house made rolls.. Really good since I make my own bread. The bad thing is that Even though we are the only diner there at 12:30 on a weekday.. It took 20 min for the food to be brought out. I really have not been there when it ever crowded. Their slow service is not suitable for express lunch since the waitress just sit there while waiting for the food to be ready. They can also update the decor since the booth cushions has scrathes and slumps. I am hesitant to show visitors here since the ambience decor needs to be updated. I support hole in wall places but sometimes I need a place to meet for lunch date. Also it is a cash only whih can be a pain.. Come on at least make a minimum requirement to use credit card since even yogurt shops are not cash only read more

The food is always good! Check out the daily special, always a good choice. Usually we get take out, however, on a whim we decided to eat in. The dining area was fairly warm and by the end of the meal it was downright uncomfortable. However, don't let this discourage you. The food is the reason to visit. The staff is good too. Lizzano's serves some of the best NY style, pizza by the slice in DFW. I've also enjoyed many of their fresh pasta dishes like cannelloni and lasagna. Others in my party really like Chicken/Eggplant Aristocrat and Chicken Murphy. The medium sized dining room accommodates large groups, small groups, couples, kids, co-workers, young, young-at-heart, and everything in between. This little place, hidden behind the 7-11 on the corner, is phenomenal. We've lived right around the corner for the last two years and we were lucky enough to find this place during the pandemic?! Did I say it was phenomenal? We ordered the Greek salad, mozzarella sticks, pizza and cannolis for dinner tonight. The salad was so fresh and crispy, the dressing was so nice! The pizza was delicious - toasty hot, tasty crust, and great sauce. The toppings were so fresh. The cannolis were so fresh- like they filled them right before we got there. The mozzarella sticks and marinara were so tasty - my only complaints are that there wasn't enough marinara to drown the pizza crust and I am soooo dumb for not having gotten here sooner.
