I spent nearly 400$ to get a "Brazilian blowout" "smoothing" treatment and I'm so beyond disappointed. My hair is the same if not more dry and course than before the treatment. I wanted something to temporarily straighten my hair and I got confused by the messages with the salon which is my fault. But now after all is said and done, I'm just upset my hair feels and looks just a little bit worse if anything 4 hours of salon time and 400$ later. She thinned my hair way too much after I said I wanted volume, she said it was to "add texture" but now I know it's because she was trying to fix her mistake to the point where it felt uneven and way less full than before. The layers were also cut the wrong way and didn't blend at all--it just looked choppy and awkward. I tried to trust the process while I was in the chair, but once it was done, I knew something was off. It didn't frame my face right and honestly just didn't look like a professional job nothing was even. I ended up having to go to someone else to fix it, which cost me even more time and money. A haircut is supposed to make you feel better, not stressed about how to fix it after. If you're looking to walk out less happy than when you walked in, this is definitely the place to go.
