Solid breakfast spot with reasonable prices and great service. Had eggs, hash browns and biscuits with gravy - all wee good. The gravy is a must get with the biscuits.

For what it is, it's not bad. Service was adequate but no more. The restaurant was only about half full but we had to wait an unusually long time to be seated. The food came within a reasonable amount of time and the check came too quickly (the second we declined dessert). The theme seems to be meat n threes/diner. Again, in context, not bad. The day's fried chicken special wasn't dry as some others have complained but the serving was small. The stark white Cole slaw was panned but the baby limas got raves all around. They have fried chicken livers over rice. The gravy either came from a packet or a can but the livers were well fried and were a generous serving. The fried okra may have been house-made but was lukewarm. The cornbread, oddly enough, was a very sweet Northern style, not at all what I expected. Fine dining? No. Meemaw's home cooking? No. Perfectly adequate Southern roadside cooking at reasonable prices? Yep.

Oooooold school.... the kind of old school that feels like a warm hug... This is the feeling Fairview brings. Fair warning for small children: The ice cream case is the first thing that greets you in the door. It's 1950s diner kitch with well portioned southern home cooking at a fair price. The fried chicken, turkey and gravy, and salmon cakes were all delicious and definitely homemade. The sides were decidedly a mixed bag. Mash potatoes, sweet potato mash, and fried squash were delicious and homemade. The greenbean casserole and mac n cheese were straight from Stauffers and disappointing. The corn bread muffin was stellar. I didn't taste the hamburger, but enough left the kitchen to assemble a small cow so I can assume deliciousness. If you choose wisely and aren't in a rush, this is a homey worthwhile meal.

Yum, this was the Brownie Bottom Pie. It was so good topped with Ice Cream.

My family and I came for our Valentine's Day dinner. There was a little wait, but it was so worth it. The service was fast and the food was totally good. It had the perfect energy for the evening and the best part is it is in our town. I didn't have to drive for a hour or look for parking. I can't wait to go back.

Might be something to consider. But, wow. I can't wait to come back! My drink was the Mango Apple Kale. It was very good and not too sweet. It's 7:10 on a Wednesday night. The place is not real busy but should be. The first experience was worth reviewing, they did great. I eat at chipotle a lot and their tables are always dirty and garbages overflowing but this place, no. The Farmside Kitchen tables are all clean in the lobby. garbages clean, floor...clean. They are going to do great. I look for forward to returning or finding one in my area.

Will & Well is a great addition to Boxyard if you're looking for a fresh salad, grain bowl, or…read moresmoothie option. The setup is counter service, with a handful of premade salads and bowls on the menu, or you can build your own. The build-your-own option starts at $12.99 and includes your base, five toppings, one crunchy/dry topping, and dressing. Proteins are extra and range from about $4.25-$6.50, with options including tofu, shrimp, chicken, steak, and tuna. I opted for a build-your-own bowl with chicken, which came out to just under $20 before tip. At first, that felt a little pricey to me, but the portion size was absolutely massive. Honestly, it was large enough to easily make two meals, which made the value feel much better. The woman helping me was incredibly friendly and even let me sample three different dressings before deciding. I also appreciated that you can get your dressing on the side if you prefer. All 3 I tried were good, but all very different, and I'm glad I had a chance to try them! One thing to note is that it was fairly warm inside the business, which gave me a little pause considering it's a salad-focused concept. That said, everything tasted fresh and high quality. There were only two employees working during my visit on a Wednesday around 6:30, and with about 4-5 people ahead of me, it took around 20 minutes to place my order, get my bowl made, and check out. The staff was working hard, and being incredibly helpful, but if you're in a hurry, just plan accordingly. Overall, I'd definitely return. It's nice to have a quality salad option at Boxyard, the ingredients were fresh, the portions were generous, and the service was helpful and kind. Just be prepared that there may be a bit of a wait and to spend around $20 if you're adding protein (but you can easily share or make two meals from it!!!) My picture doesn't do the size justice I promise!

I'd seen that celebrity Tabitha Brown stopped by recently and loved the salads, which made me want to visit even more. I stopped through on a weekday afternoon. I ordered the signature salad, Salsa Verde with quinoa (you can add your choice of grain) and a freshly made hibiscus juice (so refreshing!). Everything was so fresh and so delicious. The salad was coated with just the amount of dressing and the sweet potatoes on the salad were a special treat, making the salad both unique and delicious! The hibiscus juice was refreshing and not syrupy sweet like many juices from other establishments. I will definitely be back to try other salads!

I built my own salad and appreciated how many options there were--proteins, veggies, grains, and a solid variety of dressings that actually had flavor. Portion size was generous too. I went today, and first had to wait about 10 minutes before anyone could take my order- there was a large order ahead of me and thats completely fine, but with 3 people working- they should not all have been filling the same order- diversify and serve the people standing in your restaurant- but in those ten minutes I was able to identify dead flies in their shrimp, and then looked up on the wall and saw two roaches there. I get it, its the south, its bug season- but it was more than enough for me to never ever go there again. They lost a good customer today and they will never win me back. Bugs are one thing- but you have to have great pest control, its vital down here and clearly that is being missed. Corporate also has changed the menu and the value continues to decrease. I am super sad because I loved the convenience but I will never step foot in there again.
