Got in touch via cell phone with the owner and she informed me that ALL of her employees were out of town and her sister, who was supposed to be watching the store 'must have left early'. She then proceeded to ask me if I could stick around for 45 min (after I LEFT WORK for this and drove 20 min). I said I couldn't. Then she said she could be there in 30 min and she would give me 50% off. Fine. This was the only time slot I had. This conversation happed at 2:04 pm. 2:34 came and passed. Her mother showed up looking for her and visibly irritated that no one was there. She informed me that Mardi Gras was where all the employees were. WHY a business owner would allow every employee off in the same weekend is beyond me. Then her mother said that the sister had to leave to take her 4-year-old to the dr. I get that, but there should have been communication with the owner for her to come up there if the sister couldn't stay all day. Or AT LEAST call the rest of the appts. and cancel them. This was at 2:39. Her mother called her and she was then 15 min away. 2:54 came and went. I waited until 3:10 before driving off. I wasted an hour and 45 min of my time for literally nothing. Not a place I would recommend to anyone that has to stick to an actual schedule. Can't speak to any of their work since I didn't have anything done other than sitting in a parking lot for over an hour.

As a business owner myself, I debated really hard about writing this review. Farah seems like a…read morevery sweet person. But in the end, I felt compelled to. Booking online wasn't easy. It gave me lots of error messages. Farah took my appointment via text and called me MANY times chasing me for a credit card to have on file. I understood the reason but it was a little off-putting. I obliged. I was booked for a hybrid full-set, a wax, and a possible lash tint. I wanted hybrid lashes. Because I was traveling overseas on vacation, she said that I needed volume lashes - SHE was concerned with lash loss. None of the photos I supplied were volume lashes. I personally don't like volume lashes but I reluctantly agreed. She knew best, right? My first mistake. Don't let someone talk you into something that you don't want and always insist you know the cost because trust me, I dearly paid for the volume lashes that I didn't want. When I asked her about cost, she verbatim said, "I don't remember." Weird. She also insisted that I needed a lash tint. Ok. I confirmed that the tint would also tint my bottom lashes - it did not. After the lash service, my eyes were soaking wet. Like, jump in the pool wet. The adhesive she uses is VERY fumey so if you have sensitive eyes, this should be a hard stop for you. When they were revealed, one side was significantly heavier than the other. She attempted to fix it but it seemed to make them look worse? Lashes were stuck on my bottom lashes, some lashes looked upside down. They were nothing like the photos I showed her but was assured they'd come together when dry. I didn't love them. If I'm honest, I hated them. I did not express that. But I thought they'd be livable for my trip. The wax service was fine. Not superior to any other wax place I've gone but I would have returned for her. Again, Farah is a pleasant person. During the wax, my eyes were still watery and wet from the lash service. She was running behind by this time. She had two clients that kept chiming her doorbell and it frazzled her. Heck, it frazzled me! My lashes were still VERY wet even after an attempt to dry them. I was not comfortable leaving in that state - my eyes were soaking wet so I couldn't see the actual results. Due to her client chaos, I left. At this point, the experience doesn't deserve a bad review. I just wouldn't have returned for lashes. It's what happened after that warrants this review: The same day, lashes are falling all over my face. By nightfall, there are obvious gaps. By morning, there are HUGE gaps, globs of adhesive, and lashes all over my bedding. And indeed, lashes were applied upside down. No exaggeration. I message her to ask if there was a home remedy to remove them. I'm preparing to leave for overseas in less than 12 hours. I was devastated. In her defense, she asked me to come in but she also knew I was traveling. I couldn't. She didn't message back until the next day. She blamed my lash loss on eye cream, face cream, and a steamy shower. I was floored. You're blaming my lash loss on my lifestyle you know nothing about? She goes on to tell me this hasn't happened to her in her entire 7 year career. Let me add, I've had lash extensions for many years. I'm acutely aware of aftercare. As a business owner, such a red flag. You have to protect your business but to blame your client for something that was technician error is gross. I had genuine hurt feelings. To summarize, she offered to provide half off of my next lash set. I was so offended by the assumptions and blame and lack of accountability, I politely declined. She continued to message me about how she would have refunded me IF it were her fault, etc. I never asked for a refund although I would have gladly taken it. She took no accountability whatsoever. I had to block her number. The continuous texts and blame game were so unprofessional and upsetting. God forbid she make a mistake with your lashes, it's on you. 3 days later, every lash is GONE.

I went with it, not thinking anything the quality would have changed much. The hair wash was fine, but she gave me a wet cut so I didn't notice the way she had cut. She also did a blowout with a curl so I didn't see the blunt, unblended layers. Again, I just asked for a very small trim; a "dusting" of the ends she called it. The stylist proceeded to take chunks out of my hair and shorten the length by 2+ inches at the bottom. The shortest layers are 1 inch above the rest of my hair; not blended. I am very disappointed and embarrassed as this is the worst haircut I have ever received. The haircut is reminiscent of a jellyfish; certainly not what I wanted. It's a good thing I can still pull my hair into a ponytail.
