I wasn't sure I'd like this place since they don't offer sugar-free syrup, which I usually prefer. But their coffee was so good that it completely made up for it! On the back of the packing list is an informative flyer with coffee tips. I'm impressed - Lizzy's is utilizing blank space constructively. I was a French press user and moved to the pour over method. The clever brewer method is less hassle than the French press and makes great tasting coffee without the "silt". I use 31 grams of beans per 21 oz. of bottled spring water i have on hand, and follow the brewing instructions. Since grinding and brewing coffee, I've totally cut out sugar and cream. Coffee tastes "sweet" enough WITHOUT sugar and I don't miss the light dash of cream. Lost some weight in the process. Best $31.39 (delivered) I've spent in a LONG time. You can tell that Lizzy has made this her craft and that she is passionate about it. We visited on a Thursday morning. Parking was a bit difficult and we had to park across the hwy. Once we were in we were welcomed in. It's set up a little weird for ordering. The price of their coffee beans is extremely reasonable. Lizzy was making coffee and her helper was ringing people up and also helping. My husband ordered a pour over and it seemed like it took a long time but he said that pour overs just take a long time. My decaf americano was excellent and he really enjoyed his pour over. Lizzy was very sweet & gave our daughter a sticker which she loved. I confess addiction to Lizzy's coffee service. I suffer withdrawal on weekends when the shop is regrettably closed. Her espresso coffee service is that good. Cappuccino there as prepared by either true baristas Paul or Lizzy is on par with some of the best I had in Italy. By comparison, the cappuccino you will get at a Starbucks in totally different and inferior drink.....like comparing Dairy Queen ice cream to a fine Italian gelato. The same can be said of the other espresso drinks, mochas, lattes as well as their drip coffees. Coffee drinkers who don't like espresso drinks become instantly converted after tasting Lizzy's cappuccino. It's a minute drive from downtown Ketchum, but that little extra effort will be more than worth it. Just get there before 11 AM. read more

Best coffee we had on our entire road trip of Idaho. I found Lizzy's because of Yelp reviews, otherwise it would be really hard stumble upon. It's in a strip mall near downtown Ketchum and has a small sign. Check the hours before you go, as they are closed on weekends and not open long hours during the week. Inside the two baristas were very nice and the majority of the store looks like it is reserved for coffee they are taking to other places. We ordered a cappuccino and an americano. Both had great flavor and you could tell it was quality coffee. Prices are cheap also. If you are looking for great coffee (not food, etc), this is your spot. read more

I happened to come across Lizzy's Fresh Coffee while I was exploring Ketchum, Idaho. They are a coffee bar and are open from 8:30-10:30 AM and then they turn into a production "kitchen" where coffee beans are roasted, packed, labeled, and shipped. Amazing operation and the staff is simply delightful. Lizzy gave me the tour and history of how the beans are roasted and where they come from. She offered handouts explaining more about the process. The coffee bar only has a few bar stools so that the majority of the shop houses the roaster and bags of unroasted coffee beans. Coffee is smooth and delicious. Their cold brew is unbelievably smooth, too. You can upload your own labels using their templates and have your very own packaged coffee. A must visit! read more

The service (besides who I believe is Lizzy) was a little lacking in my opinion, but Lizzy made up for it as she was really friendly. But the coffee was great. I discovered this place from Jon jue (the french coffee and pastry place in the strip mall by albertsons on state and ~17th street) Drove to Ketchup to check it and was not disappointed. besides being a micro roaster, you can sit at the bar on weekday mornings and get a fresh cup. We found this place by doing an internet search. They were two miles away from where we were vacationing for the week. And they were well worth the walk (which included 4 adults and two small children in a monster stroller). I LOVE that they roast in house. I LOVE that they offer a non-dairy option. I LOVE the coffee. You can tell it's fresh and high quality (take a look for yourself...I'm sure one of these lovely ladies can educate you if you're not sure what a high quality bean looks like). Best coffee I've found. Never been there seeing that I am a few states away - i just order regularly online. I have a PO Box and I can tell when it's arrived as soon as I open the door to the post office (because it smells so darn good!!). I have a feeling I've converted a few USPS personnel here. I brew it espresso style... for my daily coffee I mix Talent and Bad Dog (I like it strong). Occasionally I'll try the Limited Editions and I'm never disappointed. Far better than Sbux, Seattle's B, CB&T, other online roasters, etc. She has a good message on the website... Roasts the day my coffee is sent out... delivered in 2 days... even the labels are fun. I'm hooked... I start going all cold turkey if I forget to order and I have to use alternatives... cold sweats headaches the shakes... Ok... so maybe I just pout a little bit (ok... alot) but...
