They worked efficiently, even though I believe they may have been short handed that day. Again, the install was completed in a shorter time than promised and the work they did was so professional. Just a few scuffs to paint here and there which are to be expected with a big job like this, so no problem there at all. The windows have completely elevated the look of our home. The cost was more than reasonable. And this week the temperatures outside are around 108 and I already notice some difference in the room over our garage that is always the warmest in the house.

I was locked out of the house due to this malfunction. We tried tightening the screws, but it didn't help. I reached out to Cory via the Thumbtack app messenger and asked to have the problem rectified. He didn't respond. I send other messages via phone, text, and email with no response (using the same methods as I had used in the past). Without yelling or screaming about what just happened, I pulled out my iPhone and asked Siri to find me a window installation company to come repair my window. I came across LumberJack Windows & Doors- loved the name and the branding, and that it is a family-run company. I did a little more digging and found they didn't have any Yelp reviews (til now!) but had 7 really good Google reviews so I gave them a call. Bethany, the (sister) office manager, answered right away and was super friendly. She set me up with an appointment with Michael, the (brother) estimator, to come and take a look at the damage, as the basketball goal appeared to have damaged the frame of the window in the tumble. Michael showed up on time and checked out the damage and gave me a few options--ranging from the cheapest fix to more energy-efficient upgrades. While we were chatting, he mentioned we might even qualify for a rebate from the state if we decide to upgrade all the windows in the house- sounded a bit too good to be true but checking into it I actually found I could benefit so I'm looking into that separately- I can update the review if I move ahead and find out more. They fixed the broken window with a temporary fix while we get the new ones installed which was nice. I recommend you give them a try.
