This place is extremely trash, unorganized, and unprofessional. The hold times are an hour minimum, someone might eventually pick up just to say "hold," then never come back. Sales or parts departments never answer the phone, so you're forced to call the accounting department, where they basically pretend to help but just put the headset down and go back to chatting with coworkers over coffee. Zero accountability. I ordered a part online for pickup, only to find out later that the order had been cancelled--without any notice. No call, no email, nothing. When I finally got someone on the line after countless tries, I was told it wasn't their problem and that I needed to call "corporate ordering" instead. Total runaround. Trying to get help in person is just as much of a waste of time. Staff are rude and clueless, and the entire place feels like it's being run on chaos. Even the people taking orders over the phone tell you that unless you press specific numbers during the call menu, your call will never be answered. Imagine being told that by an employee! Absolutely wild. Customer service is non-existent, and the parts department is just as bad, if not worse. Unfortunately, their prices force people to deal with this circus because parts are overpriced everywhere else. But trust me, it's not worth it. Pay a little more and go somewhere that doesn't waste your time and treat you like you're bothering them. I can only imagine part quality based on how they act. What a joke of a business. l have been a loyal customer with lkq for over 15years. in the beginning it was good. over the years the one person whom I did business with quit answering my calls after numerous attempts. No problem because they have many of people in customer service. my lastest experience was a complete NIGHTMARE. I purchased a motor for a 2011 Cadillac DTS. within less than one 500 mile trip the car overheats. After a mechanic checks it out it had over heating problems so it was a bad motor. So LKQ delivered another motor .I paid $2,400 to be installed, only to discover this was a bad motor with overheating issues. Now l'm into this for over $5,000, on just installations. So now we're on a THIRD motor. when they delivered the motor I was told they wanted more money because this motor had only 80,000 miles. after speaking with the manager he asked me to send him a picture of the odometer. No problem. When the motor arrived, the manchanic asked me to come in because he wanted me to see what was sent. It was totally disgusting. The crank would not turn, bolts in the intake. After I contacted CORPORATE. I spoke to someone by the name of Wendy. As of today I am waiting to have my money returned. In the meantime I purchased another motor from someone else. Got 4 transmissions from this place because the first 3 weren't the right ones even after they searched with my vehicle vin info, finally 4 one was right fit with a 2 year warranty. Now it's Only been 6 months and my transmission is now slipping I'm trying to get a replacement since I have a 2 year warranty I PAID extra for. Been going back and forth with LKQ adjuster for 3 weeks and still haven't gotten my transmission replaced, I've answered every question they needed answered, towed truck to dealership to get recall taken care of and STILL transmission is bad. 3800$ and 3 weeks without a vehicle and apparently the ONLY adjuster that can help me is now out of office for who knows how long. After several tries, I got through to a representative who referred me to another department. There, I was told that the part had been sent out. When I said that I had not received it, I was referred to a third department. I got no response from that department, so I telephoned again. There, an agent said that to help me, she needed to know the name of the agent with whom I had spoken. Probably the worst experience I've had buying auto parts in a long time, the older guy with the customer service position sounds very rude like he hates his job, I explained to him that I'd have my mom pay because my card wasn't accepting the transaction, he was extremely rude and kept explaining how the person paying had to pick up the part and I agreed to that but he still had a problem with it, the last time I bought a part from here they sent me the wrong color and said there is no guarantee color match, I just feel like there was no need to be extremely rude toward people spending their hard earned money with you; there's a ton of other places we can go to!!! My part came quick and i got step by step updates on there whereabouts of my part and i also was given a satisfaction guarantee that could not be held up by any other company. Also, the staff called told my boyfriend to call Lkq number to make a purchase only to be hanged up by this rude lady. I told her the part I needed for my vehicle and her response was very short and snippy saying that they don't have the part I need, which is fine. I bought a used motor from LKQ back in 2015 for a 1996 Lincoln Town Car they had it shipped from out of state, after almost 9 years the motor is still running amazing, strong not one issue. It's never left me stranded other then when I needed a new fuel pump. I definitely recommend anyone who asks me about where to get motors. The customer service was fast, and professional. read more

Called looking for some seats for my van which they had listed on the car-part.com website as being in "A" condition and when I asked what these specific ones looked like I was barked at with a WE DONT GUARANTEE ANYTHING BESIDES THE MOTORS AND SWITCHES! I came across LKQ when I was need of engine assembly for my 86 Corolla. Fortunately LKQ had what I needed, so I thought. Today to pick up the engine assembly came and to my surprise it was an incorrect engine assembly. I spoke to the salesman by the name of Frank he was courteous and helpful. Explain to him the situation and he kindly help me find the correct engine assembly even though it wasn't with LKQ. So Frank issued me a refund and I was told that I was back for refund in 24 hours. So I came here wanting to buy a front seat. Apparently you can not see the seat unless you buy it. I asked if I could somehow see the condition before purchasing and they said nobody is allowed to walk to the back. The front desk guy named Frank showed me a picture of the seat when they first got it and then said it probably looks way worse than that now because it's been outside. So again I asked for them to at least take a picture before they pull it and he said no. He then followed with if I want a decent looking seat don't buy one here. So I didn't. I left. Wish I could give them ZERO stars. My mechanic bought a used engine from LKQ in September 2013, and upon installation, no compression in 3 of the 4 cylinders. Basically sold us a non-working engine. LKQ inspector visited shop and accused my mechanic of installing the engine wrong. Machanic has had Conumer Affairs and Mazda dealer check engine. All confirm it has been installed correctly. LKQ then said they would refer matter to their warranty department. No response. LKQ ignoring us, even a complaint to Matt Davis, Regional Manager @ LKQ was initially acknowledged as received but has since been ignored. Highly recommend avoiding this auto parts supplier. I'm going to show Yelp to my mechanic so he can avoid unscrupulous suppliers like this in the future. read more

I was afraid this might happen so I verified all parts with the vin number and still they were incorrect. Due to their incompetence I wasted 8 hours and $100 in gas money. I have had a commercial account with this company for several years. I have had parts delivered that I haven't ordered on three separate ocasions. Then we have to deal with the bill they want us to pay for a part we didn't order. This last time we ordered a replacement engine on a 2009 Kia Spectra. Even though I supplied the VIN, the sales person sent a 2004. When I called to reorder, she quoted us $800 for the correct engine. This was $300 more than the original charge. The correct engine arrived billed for $808.00 PLUS Sales tax. Apparently they threw out the resale certificate on file. 4 attempts later they are still trying to get me to pay the sales tax. 1)They do not care if employees screw up. The manager in question dismissed my complaint. 2)They will send and bill you for things you don't order 3)They will quote you one price and charge you another. I have asked them to cancel my account several times yet I still get the ocasional sales call asking if I need anything. Just leave me alone already. read more

I do not know why all the negative reviews for this LKQ -Stockton location!! LKQ drivers service is exceptional. The driver was very attentive and knew what he was talking about. Not to mention his attitude and demeanor was on point. When dealing with customers you cannot show anything less than a good attitude. This driver "Jaime" made sure the panels were correct, fit and no dents or marks that could not be buffed out were on the part. LKQ employees (drivers) deal with many customers with different ways of doing things but they always keep a smile on their face! We will order again if need be. read more

Wish I could give these creeps less than a 1, like a negative 5 million would be appropriate! I called and spoke with Mr. Malloy who told me they had a radiator for us. I asked him what the refund policy was. Mr. Malloy said that the policy is all money is refunded without question within 30 days of purchase. I had him tell me this twice, and I made it very clear to this Mr. Malloy that this is the radiator for my car, and that without it I cannot work, cannot make a living, so we really need to be clear on the terms. So we go out to Stockton from Manteca, bring home the radiator, install it, find out that it does not work, oops my bad LKQ, even though they swore they had tested the thing, had not done so. So go all the way back out to Stockton from Manteca to return the radiator and they refuse to give us our cash back, claiming that they only give refunds by check in 10 days. So we have to go 10 days without a vehicle, without the ability to make a living, because these shysters refuse to refund the cash on the spot, like a normal, reputable business would do. Stay away from these guys! Horrible people, led by Mr. Malloy with his buddies Frank and Nestor completely backing up this scam. read more

They suck some sales guy named Michael is a dbag on the phone and when you ask to speak his manager he told me here you go but it's not going to do you any good. He was right about that left 2 messages on the managers voicemail and no call back.
