I purchased my 2021 Chevy Silverado Trail Boss from Chase Chevrolet in Stockton. This was the first brand-new truck I have ever purchased, and it serves as my daily work truck. My wife and I worked very hard to pay for this vehicle, so writing a public review is not something I take lightly. Since shortly after purchasing the truck, I noticed movement in the driver's seat whenever I turned. At approximately 22,000 miles, I brought the truck in to have both the transmission and driver's seat inspected. I was told the transmission was operating properly and that no issues were found with the seat. The visit was covered under my extended warranty, and I was not charged. At approximately 82,000 miles, I returned to Chase Chevrolet due to additional transmission concerns and again requested that the driver's seat be inspected. Once again, no transmission issues were found. However, this time I was informed that the seat track required replacement due to a manufacturer defect. I specifically asked whether the issue posed a safety concern and was told it did not. The dealership ordered the part and completed the repair, but I was charged a $200 deductible. I explained that the issue should have been identified during my first visit and requested that the deductible be waived. I was told that I should have brought the truck back sooner. My concern is that I did bring the issue to the dealership's attention years earlier, while the vehicle had only 22,000 miles. Had the defect been properly diagnosed at that time, I likely would not have incurred the deductible or experienced the ongoing inconvenience. Unfortunately, I am now experiencing additional driver's seat issues that the dealership does not appear willing to take responsibility for. I live approximately four hours away, and I have lost work time, spent money on fuel, and made multiple trips in an effort to resolve a problem that I did not create. What is most disappointing is not necessarily the repair itself, but the lack of accountability and customer service. As a business owner, I understand the importance of standing behind your work and treating customers fairly. Being told that this situation is somehow my fault, despite documenting the concern years earlier, was frustrating and discouraging. I have always been loyal to Chevrolet and hoped for a better experience. My goal with this review is not to criticize for the sake of criticizing, but to share my experience and hopefully encourage a resolution. I invested over $60,000 in this truck and simply want the vehicle and customer service experience I expected when making that investment. read more

If you value your time, money, and sanity, avoid this dealership at all costs. What happened to me should never happen to any customer. I purchased a vehicle under my business, and the dealership submitted the DMV paperwork completely wrong -- they registered it as a personal-use vehicle when it legally should have been commercial. This single mistake blocked me from obtaining the permit required to operate the vehicle for its intended purpose, causing thousands of dollars in losses. It gets worse. The financing bank confirmed that the dealership received the original title needed to fix their mistake. Tracking showed the delivery. Even after that, the dealership sat on it for weeks and made zero effort to correct anything. Every call was another excuse, another delay, or another "we're working on it" with no actual action. The final insult: when I followed up again, they told me they would no longer help me because I mentioned legal action after their negligence cost me real money. Imagine a dealership making an error, admitting it, receiving what they need to fix it, and then refusing to assist the customer because the customer is upset about the damage THEY caused. This is not a dealership that takes responsibility. This is not a dealership that stands behind its work. This is a dealership that leaves you on your own the moment something goes wrong. I would strongly recommend choosing ANY other dealership -- one that actually understands professionalism, accountability, and customer service. Juaquin, with the finance team, was incredibly rude, pushy, and impatient. The hard part of negotiating was already finished, and all that was left was to sign the paperwork with him. He was extremely stoic and seemed as if we were a nuisance to him. First, we were presented with the wrong contract that was 5k greater than what was agreed upon, so I felt like they were trying to take advantage of anyone who wasn't closely reading the contract. No apology or anything upon my pointing out the mistake. He just took it back and said that was the wrong one. Second, when we were finally presented with the correct contract and numbers, he was rushing us. Saying things like "I already explained it to you, what don't you get?". If I'm signing a 30k contract, shouldn't I be allowed a couple of minutes to look through it and see if everything checks out? He just kept staring at us, looking extremely bothered that we were taking 3 minutes to ensure we weren't being presented the wrong contract again. It's funny because we had to wait 30 minutes before we could sign paperwork, but Juaquin treated us like we were an inconvenience and wanted us out as fast as he could. I don't expect super friendly customer service with the finance team, but my experience with Juaquin made me extremely uncomfortable, as he had no patience or regard for us as customers. read more

The manger basically laughed in my face when I returned a second time for a problem they never fixed..I explained to him that Jesus an employee did not write down a concern of mine he stated one thing at a time ..so it was never fixed so now I am stuck with a 2024 with multiple problems and a warranty that expired because they didn't fix it when I brought it to they attention..he said he will not compensate my existing problem because his employee said I need er talk to him or told him but its records of me calling in dispatch for my issues..so Hector decided to join let's embarrass the costumer so they sent me away with a smile from them and a problem for me...because the problem still here its a humming sound coming from the engine radio compartment sounds like the wheels going to come off at 41mph or 51 mph..I kinda figured it out and explained to Matt the supervisor in he said congratulations hes matt he used me as a joke everyone that heard laughed he sent me away twice with the same problem..not professional at all..he also stated ask gmc to pay for it its not they problem if I want another speaker to pay for it but I brought it to Jesus attention before warranty was up called Jesus multiple time regarding this and he agreed to bring it in than act like he never dealt with me..this is unbelievable and not professional on any level..the supervisor Matt was the biggest unprofessional person I have met..Jesus basically never look at me or told them he talked to me..they need retraining and more automotive tech with experience to i identify problems in not give the customer back they cars without figuring out the problem this will be my 5time to a chevy dealer for the same problem..smh shame on chase Chevrolet.. read more

We went in knowing what we wanted and knowing we had everything to be approved and still walked out with nothing. I felt like once we let the Salesman know how much we wanted a certain vehicle we lost the option for negotiation and it was used as leverage for them. Terrible dropped my truck off for a check engine light , didn't tell them I had the extended warranty on the truck just to see what they find wrong with it !! Waited for a few hours guy calls tells me motor mounts both are done and wiring harness is broke and some sensors are done ( which is what I got on my code reader with the sensors ) well the guy goes to tell me it's gonna cost me 6000 to fix it and when I broke the news to him about the warranty he was pissed told me I should have told him before which I knew if I did they would have done the bare minimum! Then he tells me he had to make the claim for the warranty which he did , waited for a guy to come out and inspect it to approve the claim! We'll get a call today saying only the driver side motor mount is broke the wiring harness isn't broke they think it's still good and they are gonna fix the sensors smh ! I was told it would take no more than 1-1/2 to do the inspection, 3 hours later, I was forced to pay $189 for diagnostic on why my fuse keep popping. Angel was my service provider and is shady AF. When I expressed I wasn't happy that the cost would be carried over to the work and the fact it took twice as long than quoted. Angel didn't care and was rude, even made me wait while he answered phones. I paid the tab and left, then this clown Angel actually called my company to complain I was too difficult. Even though they were shitty on service and communications... I would highly suggest going to a company that treats and respects their customer. I won't use this place again. I went today to get my oil changed and tires rotated. When I picked up my truck I noticed the tires had not been rotated or inflated properly. Their paper work and techs said it was done, and I even asked a second time. The way I know they did not do this is that I hit a curb yesterday with my right front tire. My right front tire still shows where I hit the curb. They did not rotate them. They also said they adjusted the air pressure, but it was exactly the same as when I left it. I won't be back, and would recommend that anyone who gets service there makes sure they get what they paid for. read more

Third Review) This whole location is hit and miss it can be good and it could be bad. This visit the tire and lube center is friendly at the counter however they are very over priced for simple air/cabin filter changes ($199 for both), the service techs always forget to do something and it worries me for what else they might have missed or forgot to do. Example once with my equinox they said they checked the brakes however I watched them do the whole service and they never once looked at the brakes, another time with my truck they rotated the tires and they didn't reset the pressure stated they assumed it would be fine because it looks like i tow trailers but didnt ask me, it was off by quite a bit. They never reset my TPS sensors which I didn't notice till I got 4 exits away. The service writers did step up and take care of me without hesitation it just really sucks that there technicians can't follow through like the guys at the counter. Very disappointed this visit. I was sold a lemon 2016 Chevy Traverse in 2018. They told me it had no accidents, new tires, etc. Tires were the originals when the car was manufactured and when Service ran an inspection they said airbags had been deployed at some point. I have spent so much money on this piece of crap, I could have bought a brand new one! I expected more from Chase. I brought my car in because the back AC didn't work and after a whole day, they told me $1550 to fix leak. Couldn't afford so they reduced to $800 which was still too high so I told them to put it back together. When I picked up the car today after Hector told me it was done, the AC didn't work at all. He said because they were rushed they forgot to put freeon in the car. So I had to drive. Ack and wait another 2 hours!!! Chase's customer service is ridiculous!!! We initially went to the Chase Chevrolet in Modesto and the customer service there wasn't as good as the one here in Stockton. Rafael helped us the moment we walked in. He greeted us with a smile and asked us what we were looking for. He then went out of his way to drive us to the back and look at all our different options we had. (Modesto didn't do that) gave us many different options and we didn't feel pressured. He also has a colleague who helped and they both worked together great. Both had great communication and the team Work was effortless. They both explained in detail and gave us scenarios of things they have encountered. I rather have them be honest instead of trying to make a sale. I would rather pay a little more for better customer services vs paying less for something that isn't worth it. Matt Constant likes scamming people on Oil changes and teaches his employees to do the same when people get their car worked on. I went to get a Oil change and they drained my oil from my car but never put any only back in my car. The same day I drove it out of town and my engine blew up because whoever work on my car never put any oil in it. I went back to complain and told Matt what happened didn't do anything about it and denied everything.
