No initiated follow-up on checking work done for safety (bolts etc) 4WP corporate and store faught not to make things right. BUT DON'T LISTEN TO ME, check out California BBB (not listed with) and BAR complaints. Do your research like I should have done and you'll see this business (except for the off--the-shelf accories) is trash. "Bring it in and we'll make it right" DOES NOT EXIST with them. read more

UPDATED! The store manager reached out to me and gave me a couple of offers that satisfied me an i greatly appreciate it. I give these guys one star for the following reason I spend almost $9000 there they did a great job the mechanics on installation are the best, but when it comes to warranty work the counter guys are terrible!! they literally lied to me rather than looking up the info I looked up the info on a Pro comp tire warranty which 4 wheel Parts wouldn't even investigate like it was beyond their time an played dumb about it. I just want an honest answer don't wanna be played with or talk down to I'm a pretty intelligent guy. I am literally disgusted with them and the manager who will call Mr. W is the worse on added service. I will never buy from pro comp again it's a great tire I'll say that, but a warranty repair they would not honor it neither would pro comp. Quick answers without investigation is not how you look at a warranty claim. I sent them pictures it's may be a defective issue or may not. But you can't answer it in 30 seconds but just looking at it. this is stated as a lifetime warranty tire for off-road use their own website states that and they still will not honor a side wall split. I will never buy a procomp product again. And most likely will not use four wheel parts in Stockton again but again the mechanics are excellent but make sure darn sure you look them in the eye and ask them what does the warranty do so far it's done nothing for me and that cost me 500 bucks to warranty my lift kit hopefully I won't have any trouble with it. read more

Went in to look for a set of lights to complete the center of my bumper stinger. Salesman on the floor was very helpful and made a recommendation for some Rigid lights that were on display. The price shown on display was $368.99. When the salesman scanned the box it rang up at $409.99. I asked if they were going to honor the display price shown. I was told NO by the manager because the display price is for a discontinued version. I left and will NOT purchase anything here again. My Smittybilt winch was purchased here as well as other parts. I own 2 Jeeps....too many other places to purchase Jeep accessories to put up with this. read more

I have a 2018 Jeep Wrangler with a bad death wobble issue. Its been back and fourth to the dealer and they tried everything "Jeep" said or would allow them to do to fix it. I took it to 4Wheel Parts in Stockton and Mike and his guys new exactly how to fix my issue. I was frustrated with Jeep to say the least. Mike and the rest of the guys could not have been nicer and more helpful. They did exactly what they said and fixed my issue. It has NEVER driven as good as it does now. I wanted to like these guys more, I really did. I had them install a part I'd ordered from another supplier and a part I'd ordered through their website. The part from their website took months longer to arrive than originally promised, but installation went OK. They screwed up the install on the second part and I had to have someone else fix it, but I was willing give them a pass because the problem was with the parts the manufacturer provided. Despite these mixed results I was willing to try them again. I tried to make an appointment to make a "tell me what I need to buy" appointment to do a suspension upgrade, but they tried to charge me up front just to make the appointment. Sorry fellas, plenty of shops willing to write me a shopping list free of charge. I like the convenience of a nationwide brand and website, but I'll take a shop that's willing to help me navigate my options for free. read more

Went in to buy bed cover and running boards for new pickup. Two people behind counter waiting on one person. Waited tried to make eye contact no response. Another employee went to talk to customer waiting for vehicle sales by me twice. Nobody acknowledged my presence no interaction like be with you in a minute..... nothing walked around a few minutes and walked out. I want the best of everything, or at least the ability to make the very best of what I've got, and I believe the Stockton 4WPs store and staff there understands this. They have an optimistic, solution oriented perspective. The 'Get-R-Done' sales Representatives and Mechanics on Sampson St. listen carefully, first at the counter (or over the phone), on the day of your install or repair, word quickly spreads and soon the mechanic and his helpers are playing off observations shared, then drawing from their own experience and expertise. Specifically, the Mechanic I've been fortunate to have working on my 4-wheeler went further until we were back at that good place again. Why not? His name is going to be all over the thing and until it's right and it's his place and responsibility to deal with whatever problems exist. These guys take ownership of the work that they do! My responsibility is to come up with the cash and to express my thanks. Job Well Done! Seriously though, if you want careful, quality work with attention paid to detail, if you want to achieve your dream ride and stay safe, this is a good place to start...then you'll want to stay. I've worked with 4WP for tires, spacers, lift kit, alignments, front end and bumpers upgrades, LED lighting, tools, fridge/freezer, reservoir shocks, ball joints and various other tips & tricks...you get the idea. My ride is my best friend, it's a customized, go anywhere, approach/climb, crawl over and complete it kind of vehicle. My Jeep affords me a wild-ass view on life. When it isn't working, I have this tremendous sense of brokenness. Their return policy isn't good, make sure to not install anything to make sure it does or doesn't work because they won't take it back whether it's a external or internal part makes no difference, doesn't matter if it isn't safe to use once you connect it to test it they say it's used. Also if it's a pump if you plug it in and test it to see if it is strong enough to work on your oversized tires, they consider it used so your not taking it back for a better one. He is a jeep guy too he has all of the same stuff on his jeep that he sells! Once i tried to buy something from him and he steered me away to a less $ part that was better. Best off road shop in Northern California! Awesome customer service, very honest, professional and superior work. They had initially installed my Icon Stage 6 kit on my Tacoma back in 2019 and it runs great with no noise or problems. Recently, due to Covid, I made the mistake of going with Califab shop for a Stage 7 Icon on my wife's 4Runner because the parts were a 1 week wait opposed to 12 weeks with 4WP. I was impatient and it was a BAD decision. Since the installed with Califab, I had nothing but constant squeaks, broken bolts, and EXCUSES! Went out to Califab shop 4 times and they tap dance around the noise problem. Frustrated, I brought my 4Runner to 4WP to do a full diagnostic and Kyle, the Service Manager, pointed out that the passenger side coil was mounted incorrectly, rubbing against the shock body and they found that rear control arm bushing were installed "dry". Sharp eye Kyle!! He fixed the misplaced front coil and I have to come back later for the dry bushings. I regret the time wasted with a bunch of amateurs and should've been patient with the PROFESSIONALS. Peace of mind and great customer service is what you will get with 4WP. I'm disappointed with the 6 or so visits to this store. Not sure if they assume only "light"skin people have money to buy pricey off road parts..or they wanted to watch from the safety of the counter to make sure I'm not stealing.. Any how every time I visit I spend hundreds of dollars at a time..my second to last visit was absolute crap.. I drove my vehicle to the store to make sure the correct parts are ordered for the truck. They ordered the wrong parts so I had to make a mad dash to return the parts..a 20 mile trip one way from my house. Lucky for me the correct parts were on hand.. Bottom line these guys are quick to take your money when then find out you have some to spend, and will give you crap service if they think your broke..I'll go else where to buy my parts from now on.. read more
