Placed an order for flooring, molding and stair noses. Original order for th stair noses was never sent over. Complained to the store and they had no answer. Finally wrote a review on Google which led to someone from corporate finding out what happened. Had to go back in to cancel original order and place again. A week later still no answer as to where the order is or an expected date of arrival. My flooring job had to be postponed yet again. This company is horrible at delivery and orders. Went online to find out they had so many similar complaints. It's no wonder they went out of business before. Why they started back up under another name is beyond me. LL flooring doesn't deserve my business. They will ride you to make a sale but won't take any accountability for their actions! I came in 3 months ago and had the unfortunate experience dealing with Sam from the Yonkers location. She would call me every month, sometimes a couple times a month to ask when I wanted my floor installed. Our relationship was cordial UNTIL my installation date. Wally, the installer was very honest and said many boards were too short, dented, and appeared to have some kind of flaw. He didn't feel comfortable starting a job I wouldn't be happy with. I brought this to Sam's attention the very next day. Instead of saying I'm so sorry for your inconvenience, what can we do to fix this problem for you, she blatantly said..."that's the wood you chose Mr. Rizzo. She tried to make me believe it's distressed wood and suppose to look like that when it clearly shows it on the exotic hardwood section on their website. I responded with one simple question..."If the wood is suppose to look like that, how come wally didn't feel comfortable installing it?! This entire experience was a major disaster because my wife and I had to reschedule many appointments around this installation that NEVER happened! LL FLOORING couldn't cover the simple cost to do the job correctly and more importantly, fulfill customer satisfaction! Take your business elsewhere...TRUST ME!!! read more

The folks here are really great, especially Sam. I bought some of their Vinyl Plank flooring for my kitchen, and the process was painless. You can either order samples online, and LL will mail them to you, or you can call up the store and grab them there. I spoke with Sam on the phone and she was able to put all the samples I wanted in a box, and I was able to stop over to the store and pick them up. After deciding on the type of floor we wanted (in terms of Vinyl Plank they have several different varieties, with different thicknesses, and some with a mat layer already on the plank, and ones without that mat) we were able to order what we wanted and pick it up at the store because they had what we wanted in stock. Otherwise you can order online and it will get shipped to the store for you to pick up (which is free, there's also an option to ship directly to you, but there is a fee involved). Sam and the staff were very accommodating because all of the boxes we ordered did not fit into our car, so we made several trips over the course of the week to get all the boxes. So that was very appreciated, and we felt like valued customers. In terms of the installation, we did that ourselves. The planks click together, so it's relatively easy to do. Probably the most difficult part was cutting, but even that wasn't really that bad. The floors look really great, and are very sturdy. We had no intention of testing the waterproof part, but when our dishwasher leaked we found out that they were quite waterproof. Performed quite admirably, in fact. Just had to clean up the wet spot with a few towels. I would recommend the store for both their customer service, as well as a good product. I can't speak to everything they sell, but what I bought was definitely worth the money I paid, and is more affordable than many other places. read more

In store help was pretty good although they could not tell me how long the flooring product I purchased was supposed to acclimate to the space. Post purchase service was horrible. The delivery team did not help load the boxes into the doorway and left it all for the customer to handle (wife home alone left with dozens of boxes). Not only that but then several days later the installer that they recommended said numerous boxes were damaged and that we should return them and have LL ship replacements. It took several days to have a manager authorize replacement of the damaged boxes and two more days to get a new delivery commitment. The installer that they recommended does solid work but is a very poor communicator and scheduling is unreliable. A one week project turns into 3 weeks of mayhem. C B read more

Let me state that this review is For the "INSTALLATION PORTION" The store manager Sam, was very helpful and professional. But when it comes to the installation, boy was I disappointed, they damaged two walls and thought we were NOT GOING TO NOTICE, They put two cracked Moulding's and again thought we were NOT GOING TO NOTICE!!, Danilo I think he was the go to guy literally told my husband " oh you can fix that with some spackel. The corners were not padded, so when you put something on it the floor planks sink in and their corking was bad, I had to ask the guy to go over spots that were not done correctly. Oh and the clogged up bathroom sink as they washed up at end of job. and again thought were NOT GOING TO NOTICE. This was bought to the attention of "WALLY" who we were told was the "BEST" by Sam the store manager and she was wrong!!!! This man literally went to check out issues and said nothing is wrong with the sinking of planks no worries they will not crack, just said sorry about damaged walls and the cracked moulding, he came back for cracked moulding put some glue and left. As my floors do look nice, I was not happy with the response that their so called "Best Installer" Wally gave is. If you are looking for floors do shop around, stay away from Wally and his team Danilo, Bruno, Anderson and victor. If you ask me, Customer Service Plays a major part in a successful business and this my friend was NOT customer service. This was more lgot your money you got your floors on to the next one. So this Wally comes with Danilo the main guy who came on first installation day. To go over the same thing he went over the prior 2x, Wally speaks to my husband over the phone and explains that the plan will be removing the planks, and putting padding underneath the planks that were sinking in corners, just remember they were never short with to begin with.. That was NOT the plan the day of fixing my floors, THIS MAN got the NERVE to tell me that he will place fillers underneath the moulding and cover it with White Corking, in which will make the planks sink in even more make a bigger gap underneath the moulding but stuffed with fillers and covered with white corking where the rest of my apt has no white corking AT ALL!!!!! As, my installation process was a wreck since day one THIS GUY Wally Whom-is suppose to be their "BEST INSTALLER" and top rated with HGTV who also worked with the twin brothers on HGTV. It is a disgrace with the work he and his team provided me. Wally and his team were THROWN out of my house immediately!! I contacted Sarah who stated this will be taken care of "CORRECTLY" on previously calls, here I am with sinking floor planks and $7,500.00 worth of aggravation from these people!!!! People be AWARE that you only have ONE YEAR of installation warranty after that you are on your own if anything happens to your EXPENSIVE FLOORS DUE TO INSTALLATION!! They will charge you to repair. Floyd Green is a great salesman and knows what he is talking about the problem comes is that he is all alone with no assistance. Went to pick up flooring and he said it was going to be a wait since he was all alone. People were already waiting an hour for pick ups and orders. Came back later on and waited about 30 minutes for the order. Floyd pulled the order and quickly noticed multiple boxes completely deatroyed. From a customers stand point having one person alone in the store doing sales and pulling stock and leaving a show room unattended and multiple ppl waiting is a sure fire way to lose buainess. I would give the store 1 star but 3 stars to Floyd for his commitment to trying to satisfy all who enter the store read more

Purchased 7 boxes of 3/4" soild oak hardwood flooring (enough to complete approximately 140 sq feet). The boxes received were taped up with duct tape. After letting the wood acclimate for a week, began opening boxes for install. At this point I realized the flooring had been re-packaged after a completed install. The longest piece of wood was 27". The average on this product should have been 30" with the longest possible length being 83". After calling the store in Yonkers I was told there was nothing they could do and I would have to bring it back to receive a refund. With little choice I had to follow as I was directed. I did receive my refund but that did little to help the week lost due to acclimation, the wages and time lost to workers picking up, delivering, unboxing and repacking flooring. Do not buy from LL without carefully inspecting what was purchased. read more

I did like their selection, but it was very hard to get anyone's attention in the store. When we finally did, we weren't given any guidance, so it's a good thing that we read each slip carefully to read about features of each sample. I also had to call multiple times because every time they sent me an email, I did not receive it. I would then get a double email. After I made a selection, I was told that I then had to pay and THEN go through an installer. I gave up and went to Empire. Within 48 hours they were at my house to measure, show me samples, and install my new floor. I guess that if you're doing the installation yourself, this is a good place to go. Otherwise, plan for this process to take weeks and to play lots of phone tag with people. read more

I can tell you that I had the best experience with this company. From the moment I walked into the store, I was warmly greeted by the staff. They were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. As a first timer to purchasing vinyl wood panels, I was given a real good education as how the installation is performed and the type care needed (which required low maintenance). They never pushed higher priced flooring. They supported all their products from low priced to high price. The Store Manager, Ravindra "RAV" Chan, was undeniably the Best of the Best. He spent time setting me up with all the tools I needed and armed me with installation knowledge that only a pro can give. He helped me with the amount of supply I needed and told me to buy an extra box just in case I needed it. He guaranteed me that if I was over at the end, I just need to return the carton for a full refund. He made good on his offer! No questions asked.
